First off.. I somewhat agree the Provari crowd is seemingly cultish. However I believe the reason for this is they are a company in the USA washington state to be exact. And it was created here and sold here. Its a pretty good product. I myself found my way upon one. Despite that its not really my goto vape. I like having one, I just use it when my rba hybrid is getting cleaned or putting in a new wick/coil. I have respect because I have talked to the owner in person before and he is a respectable guy just trying to make a living and happens to vape. Other then that I think people really love their favorite pv and should be proud just alittle less loud to people that know about it. lol

If I were given one then likely I'd try it out for more then a few hours...I've already two VV devices at this time that serve me well at this point. I'm not a person that requires exact electronics as I moved over to a mechanical mod for a bit which has no read out so learned to do without. Guess each person's experience is different and you vape what you got and what works for you is the bottom line, as long as it keeps you off the analogs then that's what counts.

Segelei zmax is now at v3

provari's v2 was not a version,,it is an upgrade ,,there is a difference

v2 stands for version 2. :) call it an upgrade if you want, but that's what a version change is.
The first version Sigelei's have been called Zmax version 3. I emailed a vendor and asked about it actually, and they changed the wording on their site.
No idea what is going on with the co-op clones.
Its not a big deal. These kind of debates just go round and round. PVs get revised, or upgraded if you like.

with the V2 it was not required,it is an option !! unlike the clones where it is necessary

the segelai zmax v3 is called the v3 because they fixed 2 known issues with the original design ,

thats well known by just about everybody, but there are exceptions

See that's not the case Denali. The Zmax 1 uses Avg. Now if you want RMS then version 2 has added it. The Zmax 1 wasn't the only device using Avg. And the vaping community only not long ago really became aware of the difference between avg and RMS - sensefields video brought that to a lot of peoples attention, and pbusardo followed up. Is RMS "required' - that's debatable. I think its better. I can vape a Zmax 1 just fine. If I want I can vape a Zmax 2 in AVG too - and some people like that. They call it "beast" mode.
Segelei aren't fixing issues - they brought out a different pv - same as the Zmax 2 in function, but they made a heavier tube and added an OLED screen.
If not having an OLED screen is an "issue" that needs to be fixed then the second version of the Provari needs to be fixed.
The version 2 Provari gives higher amperage, to allow more flexibility with LR cartos and attys, and goes to lower voltages Is that "required"? It is for some people. Not for others.
BTW - Provape themselves call it a Version 2.
ProVari V2 - New Amperage Limit and Lower Voltage Options
Hello,

We are moving to Version 2 of the ProVari and this will be rolling out very soon.

What is V2 you ask?

Version 2 includes the following changes:

The ProVari will be able to go down to 2.9 volts at its lowest setting. So the new range is 2.9-6.0 Volts.

We are also increasing the amperage limit to 3.5 amps allowing for more flexibility with LR cartos and atomizers. This limit is for the lower voltage options while using LR attys and cartos.

This will be rolling out with all the new satin black ProVari's that will start shipping this coming week, along with the Chrome and Silver

What I'm seeing is the same old debate anyway. Use whichever pv you prefer. Just don't tell others the pv they like using and enjoy is crap because its not your one. Not saying saying you've done that - but that's the point of the thread.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the co-op clones, or the other Segeleis out on vendor sites. If I'm wrong on Segelei I'm sorry. As I said, I've no idea what's currently going on with the Co-op clones. I know that Segelei version 1s were being billed as Zmax 3s. Anyway - Denali I really have no gripe with you. Provape did put out a new version of the Provari - that's what it is. I don't see that as a bad thing - it's what they did. Newer electronics in a new version. They said so themselves. It's not a criticism, it's just describing what they did.

I don't see a thread filled with people hating. I don't hate Provaris all. I have a bunch of friends who use them. What I don't like is when these sort of epithets get continually tossed in - calling people haters when they aren't, saying every other pv is crap, when they aren't. I don't see the point of that. It had gotten out of hand.

If I had closed this thread earlier, none of this would've meen discussed here.....
Hehe
But now I guess everyone is being rude so...
What else?

It would be good to get back to discussing what it was really meant to be. A discussion about how some actions are perceived.

That's not good, well there is always Waffle House or IHOP this early in the morning...M'mm strawberry pancakes, now I'm hungry :p

Uuugh that does sound amazing. I've not been able to eat all day because of medical nonsense and any thought of food at the moment is driving me nuts!

Around here though the only place that is open is 10~ miles away and not that great. They could take lessons from Denny's.

Denny's, have you had the fried pancake balls...OMG, amazing...great for a quick snack but sinfully good.
Yah, need more descent places open all night...I'd love it as I work nightshift.
