What will become of ECF in the aftermath of a ban?

As far as running costs are concerned its very difficult to comment on that without feedback/transparency from the admins or from Oliver who appears to be absent at the moment. One way to reduce costs would be to remove onsite image hosting and only allow users to post links to externally hosted images. I would hazard a guess that ECF is currently quite profitable.

I think ECF and vapers generally have shown that the harder they squeeze, the harder we push back.

Yep, over 9 million Americans are Vapers from what I've seen in articles. 9 Million votes will throw an election. Candidates have lost by fewer votes.

I remember puffing a real e-cig ten years ago and thinking "man if this thing catches on, big tobacco is gonna be ......". I also remember thinking big brother won't let this thing go untaxed. I stopped using it because, frankly walking on broken glass barefoot was less painful.

Nearly a decade later I tried it again and hoh boy, vg loaded grape soda e-juice and big clouds……holy cow now thing I can like. Yet it was still largely untaxed. Then pods were showing up everywhere. Hell there was like 200 different kinds available. And famous conservative radio show host Sean Hannity was advertizing this so called Juul contraption.

Soon nic salt was exploding on the scene like an atomic bomb while the pod makers said "perfect nic salt device". At that point I was thinking "hello, nicotine is highly addictive……and it's at every gas station in my town". It was just a matter of time before big brother stepped in and said "we want your money all you nicotine junkies".

Meanwhile bad press began surfacing about "mad clouds", exploding mechs and popcorn lung. Then the scurge of the nations youth began to steal the headlines. Millions of kids vaping in schools across America. The nanny state had seen enough. And Donald Trump prefers the daily news be about Donald Trump yet it was about vaping deaths so Donald Trump announced Donald Trump was going to ban flavors so guess what? The topic became Donald Trump to ban vaping flavors.

The reality is it's pretty scarey to think each time you walk past a smoking area and see folks vaping, one of those vapers might be the next to get sick from whatever is in whatever device that is literally killing people. What can we do as a community to educate fellow vapers on how to avoid the illness? Hell right now nobody really knows what it is in a definitive way, nor where it's coming from.

No ECF aint going nowhere any time soon. Yet as a community we can play a role at ensuring the truth gets out there to fellow vapers who are not forum users, but enjoy a viable alternative to smoking.

And to those I vape I vote crowd…… you think Trump is bad? Wait until the ultra leftist Elizebeth Warren or some other leftist gains the throne. You aint seen nothin'yet.

True, but how many of them can be swayed to change their vote by this?

There are plenty of vapers who can't stand Trump and wouldn't vote for him even if he had a magic wand and used it to completely restore a free market in vaping.

Conversely, there are also plenty of vapers who would never vote for any his potential opponents, even if he could and did impose an outright ban on vaping.

It is getting nearly impossible to tell these days. I blame tinfoil and think it should be outright banned. Sure, some people use it responsibly, but too many people (an epidemic really) are making hats out of tinfoil in an attempt to block the carefully metered doses of mind control rays being beamed down upon us from government satellites. This means the rest of us are not only getting our standard rays, but all sorts of wave-form interference from all the reflected rays of the tinfoil hat wearers. Second head mind-control rays are harmful and we should not be subjected to them just because a few individuals are addicted to their own thoughts. Think about the children!

Enough is enough. We need to get out of our chairs, go to our windows, open them, stick our heads out, and calmly declare "I'm slightly perturbed here and I'd like the government to protect me!"
