Out of the squonkers I own, don’t really have a all time favorite. All serve a purpose and each has it’s own benefits.

For portability – My Pulse 80. Light, good juice capacity for the purpose and with a 20700 cell I can get a days worth of use. Picked 2 of them up on the cheap (much lower than their usual retail price) so not so much of a loss if damaged when I’m out and about.

At home – Toss up between Desire Rage and the Reload. Both are great build quality but the Reload is smaller, and easier to handle. The Rage however has adjustability (VW, TC etc.)

No issues what so ever – in fact I haven’t heard of any issues outside the first batch that had problems with removing the squonk bottle due to an extra o-ring being installed by mistake…and even that was an easy fix. What broke?

I noticed the top around the 510 would get really warm. I went back to the shop I bought it from after a few days and they told me it was normal. I always had a hard time removing my rda no matter how little I tightened it just to make the connection, the heat would make it almost impossible to remove. While trying to loosen it on the weekend the whole mod split around the 510.

You saying the heat from the 510 cracked the mod? Can you post a picture? What RDA are you using?

No I'm not saying the heat cracked the mod. The heat made 3 different rda's impossible to remove and the top cracked while trying to get one off. I wish I would've taken pics. I have several mods and none have ever got that hot on top. I'm new to squonking, but that shouldn't make a difference.

The area around a 510 could become warm from use depending on how the RDA radiates its heat. But the 510 area should never become hot to the touch or even to the point of nearly seizing the 510 connection with the RDA. This is a clear indication of a problem with the connection and further use should have stopped immediately. Have you spoken to the store since?

Still toting around my pulse 80 (90) with update. As my all day carry I have 3 of them, and sitting on top is a wasp, or Etheon clone on it with a 510 drip tip, Red Sanyo 20700b has been the best out of the Ijoy 20700 and the purple 20700 from Vapecell. My Therion stays at home by my side, along with a few G-boxes that I been meaning to modify with a different bottle and magnets.

Yes, I took in on Monday and the guy kept blaming me for it. I've put those rda's on 2 other nonsquonk mods and I don't get any heat at all on the actual mod. Of course the metal cover gets warm on the dripper, but not the mods. He told me to leave it with him and he'd talk to the owner, they haven't called me back so I may go see them in a day or 2.

It’s not a matter of the RDA’s working on other mod’s - it’s a matter of why they are not working on the Rage, or why the Rage is getting so hot with these RDA’s. Could be an poor internal connection to the 510, or the 510 pin is stuck and not making a solid contact with the 510 of the RDA. Any leaking from under the atomizer? This could indicate a poor 510 interface between the mod and RDA. Do the RDA’s screw on with the same resistance as unscrewing them once hot?

oh man ,think you will regret it
i have one that i finally stopped using because no matter what, the dam tank always leaked .so its shelved till i get a new 510 to put in with a regular squonk bottle ..the curve feature is why i haven't totally given up on it

hope you have better luck then me
It came in today....the mod itself is nice (learning curve) the atty that came with it is junk
really surprised that for it's regular retail price point that this is the atty that they give you...and there was no cotton to build with nor any pre installed coils I mean i'm not really complaining at the $35 I paid but if I had paid the over $100 I'd be very upset
I mean the atty is...ok...but it ain't no $100+ kit atty lmfao I'd expect to find this in the bargain bin atty box
I'll be using my wotofo profile on this

I am still using my modified 21700 Pulse BF. It's been through hell and back. It's been my main work/beater mod for about 8 months, little thing just will not die

No leaking and my resistance never changed much. .44 or .43 which isn't anything worth mentioning.

Not the resistance of your coil – the resistance as in how hard was it to screw your RDA on. Was it as hard to screw on as it was to remove?
It would go on after I rebuilt one of my rda's so it was always cooled down when putting it on, so no I didn't ever have trouble putting it on, it wasn't a matter of it being cross threaded. On the flip side, once I left it over night then tried to remove the atty before using it and it was way tighter than I had installed it, but no tools needed to get it off.

I share your appreciation of the pico. For a 12hr night shift, I either carry this or my reo. The pico actually hits as hard as my best mech squonkers and I have quite a collection.

Pico/Krma combo:

However, I'm not inflexible in my vaping taste... I have a dovpo topside on the way.

Still a REO, either a P67 or Grand. I like my Grands topped with an O-Little 16 and my P67 topped with a Hadaly or Stumpy. Small, pocket friendly, durable, and a single battery lasts a long time. I have five (two Grands and three P67s) and will never part with them.

For more clouds I use two Pulse 80 mods topped with Recurve RDAs with single clapton coils.

My Reos (P-67 and Grands) continue to be my all day, every day choice for most of my vaping life. I’m sure there are other great mech mods out there but I’m just one of those contented vapers. They are built to last and easy to work on. Just my style.

So Santa came early, And lo and behold he left me a Boxer 250C 2x20700 sqounker, I now have a new Favorite, it does have a few flaws and for over $200, it should not. I can live with them though, It will be my main driver, but I think I will be still taking the good old Pulse to beat around at work, My main gripes on the Boxer are 1, the price, 2 the bottle, 3, the way the door fits, it is not exactly flush, and the Santa went through a bunch of hassle to even get one from Ginger, with shipping and the still charged like another $11 for shipping, you would think if you pay over $200 for a 3D printed box with a nice board in it, at very least do some quality control and toss in some free shipping, or at least a one or two more better quality bottles. I am use to just taking out the bottle and refilling, even though I have some nice flasks to fill, but the way the bottle connects in this I am terribly worried to squeeze it onto the pin, because there seems to be a opening to all the electronics, Making it very easy to get leaks inside the internals, so now I go through the process of take the rda off and fill from the top, I really like the Idea of it with a 250C and 2x 20700, But I feel like I am driving a Bentley with no insurance, with bad brakes and slightly impaired. I will report back if I have any more issues, but it was a welcome surprise and I will use it whenever I am home, for now, until the shiny wears off and I am not afraid to take out more.
