Yeah, that's the onliest way to have people trying e-cigs but I would suggest to have a test version with you.

Well from some of the responses maybe Im just overreacting. Cost of parts/ejuice/battery is not what I was concerned about.
I also failed to mention that after he and his friend hit it others were coming up and he was offereing it to them. I couldnt stop the first offer but I stopped the second.
I think maybe I just didnt like the kid.
vaping outside of work the other day. We have a designated smoking area and although I could Vape inside - I dont want to deal with the HR hassle and besides, it gets me away from my desk.
... anyway, Im Vaping on my break outside when a couple of co-workers, who I know work for the company but I do not know personally, ask me what Im smoking.
THe one kid says, "thats one of those electronic cigarettes?" I said yes and he asked some questions about it, which I politely answered. Then a friend of mine came up to our little group and started talking to me.
Well the kid who asked me about my e-cig asked if he could "check it out" so I said sure and let him hold it.
Now I thought he would examine it, maybe play with the button and stuff so I turned my attention to my friend who was talking, when I turn back the two who had came over to ask about my e-cig were both puffing on it. I took it back from them, put it in my pocket and went inside... my break was now over.
Now back in the day I passed a joint or two around and even shared cigarettes with people. But nowadays its not something I do. After being in the workforce for 20+ years I have learned something about people. Some, even many, do not practice good hygenine.
Anyway I was ......, I didnt tell them they could puff on it and perhaps I shouldnt have let them "check it out" without specifying what they could do with it.
Anyone else think this was rude? or was it my own fault for letting them hold it in the first place?[/QUOTE
You did the smart thing.![]()
Someone needs to invent a PV mouthpiece condom. LOL Everyone always wants to try it out (can't blame them!!).
Yeah, there was a time that nobody thought about passing around something smokable... now there are too many cooties out there (and some will stay with you forever like herpes).
I have to agree that it's just not on. I have a family member who comes to visit and he has never even smoked. My wife and I have our computers on one long desk and have our pasthroughs and charging gear there along with normally 4 or so other e-sigs set up with different flavors so we can pick and choose as we work. We've taken to hiding them when there is a visit expected because this person thinks nothing of going along the desk picking up and puffing on each one. This is often accompanied by a lot of additional saliva and YUCK!!!! Don't do that man!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-o
Oh you arent being rude at all. I guess I wasnt thinking when I gave it to him to "check out" I felt like I was showing him something. Guess I forgot what it really was for a second. I think about anything else that is "consumed"... if someone were asked to check it out I would have to assume they are going to "consume" it as well.
Like if you are holding an imported beer that comes in a cool bottle...and someone said.. can I check that out?... would you expect them to take a drink or just examine the bottle?
