WHY did you start vaping?

I was a 2 1/2 pack a day smoker for 26 years... It was killing me.. LITERALLY!! After I had a mild heart attack at the ripe old age of 32, my doctor told me I had to quit now, not later, or when I thought I would get around to it or I would probably die in the not so distant future. vaping saved my life. I am glad to see someone else who has had great success as well. It is a true inspiration. vape on and Happy New Year everybody!

After 20+ years of smoking nasty conventional analogs . The wife gave me a e-cig for christmas ,and I have to say I love vaping
In that 8 days I have learned so much from websites and post . Its been great so far . I have already upgraded from the standard V2 to a ego-w with vision clearomizer's ,and Im looking forward to upgrading it again to some kind of mod. All in All I had to get away from cigarettes ,not only for my health, but the health of my family .Thank you all and looking forward to posting again .

I thought I'd try eCigs to see if I could switch to them to quit, but I tried the cheap ones, and didn't much care for them. It just didn't work for me, so I was ready to write vaping off as a failed experiment. Then, my 6 year old grandson said, "Grandma, all I want for my birthday is for you to quit smoking." Well, how can THAT not affect you? I decided to study up on vaping and give it another shot. That's when I found ECF and all of you. I ordered a manual Joye 510 Tank starter kit and some juices, and there was an amazing difference between that and the cheap ones I'd tried before. I quit analogs the same day I got my kit and haven't had another cigarette since. That was in August. Since then, I've switched up my battery sizes, going up to an 1100mah Mega Ego, and now to a 1300mah Vision Spinner - which I LOVE. It's even pink!

I've been smoking off and on for the last 17 years. More on than off unfortunately. I've tried literally every type of prescription and non prescription but they all made me sick. A buddy of mine at work got me to try his e-cig and I was hooked. Wife bought me my very own for an early christmas present as I pretty much had to shower after having a smoke due to her being allergic to the smoke and also having a now 16 month old son in the house. Been 12 days analog free and already feeling amazing. Hope this sticks because I love it.

Started vaping because I was sick of trying (unsuccessfully) to get that nasty monkey of tobacco off my back after more than 20 years. I was sick of coughing, sick of stinking, sick of hiding it (from my 2 kids), and sick of paying for it! Best choice I have made, had my last analog cig on my birthday, October 20th, and have not looked back since !!!

(funny enough, I found a cigarette in my car a couple of weeks back, looked at it for a few seconds, and threw it away! Didn't even want to light it up.)

My ultimate reason was to quit smoking. I have a lot of co workers that have recently begun to vape, so it was a great opportunity to give up the analogs and still get the support of your peers. I purchased my vape kit last Wednesday and have not had a real cigarettes since then. In just a short week I am already starting to see the benefits of quitting.

I first started vaping so that I could do it indoors, I had no intention of quitting smoking, I rotated the ecig and analog depending on whether I was inside or outside. but about 9 months ago I started feeling a tightness in my chest and I was coughing a lot more often, even when I got a cold it would last longer. So I said forget this and started used the ecig full time.

As of now my chest has opened up I am not coughing, except of course when I get a wicked throat hit from my Provari. :vapor:lol
