Manufacturing in China doesn't occur without the blessing and help, in many cases, of the Chinese government...

So are you saying that perhaps the Chinese Government is Looking the Other Way sometimes when it comes to Exporting Clones and Counterfeit Products?

Wal Mart is China's biggest outlet store. Let's talk about WalMart :) Do you ever shop at Wal Mart Steve?

I buy supplements there and other products made in the US... Actually, more and more they are carrying made in USA products. You can see the little US flags on the packaging of a lot of goods which were previously sourced from China- like glassware... They also are great at hiring those not really qualified to work anywhere else, so do a public service.. I don't go after dark, though...

How cold they possibly be? They are our friends. I was at Home Depot a while ago and saw bags of rock salt with a product of China label on them. How is it possible to pay for shipping and still make any money for such a heavy, yet low cost item? I did some research. Turns out the Chinese government subsidizes shipping for a lot of goods...

I know they carry enough USA products for appearance purposes. I hear they also pay their employees well with great benefits! It must be difficult to sort out the American made from Made in China. Good thing they have those little flags

Surprise - Surprise.

Maybe if we weren't in such a T-Bill Hole with China, that a Strong President could do something about China Dumping Subsidized Products in our Markets.

Maybe a Strong President could do it even with the Heavy Debt Burden?

But that is a Topic for Another Thread. An OUTSIDE Thread.

Their average hourly wage is pretty good for a lot of people who have the skills to work at fast food restaurants, and they do provide health insurance and have health clinics for employees.

I don't know about WalMart at the Mistake by the lake but around here these folks would beg to differ. Is that somewhat of an insult about their skills or ability?

Perhaps if I tell the story about my windshield you will understand the lengths I go to not to buy made in China goods. A few years ago my daily driver developed a leak at the top of the windshield. The daily driver is old, a 1997 VW Golf, which I bought new and keep in mint condition. My mechanic said the chances of removing the windshield and being able to put it back in are slim, without it breaking. It was sandblasted anyway, from highway driving around the beltway and had a number of chips in it. I called every glass shop in the area. I wanted an OEM windshield- Sekurit Saint Gobain. No one had any, but they could install a PPG made in China windshield for $99. I went back to my VW mechanic, who made some calls. He's a VW guru. He found a VW dealership in Texas who had the last 7 in the country. He ordered one, scheduled his glass guy to come to the shop to install it, so he could clean up and fill the hidden rust spot at the top behind the windshield which was causing the leak. I could have taken the easy route and paid $99 plus an hour of labor for the same work for a made in China windshield. I was overjoyed with my $750 OEM made in Germany glass...

If they had the skills or ability to work somewhere else and earn a better living, they would. As it is, it is a good job for them. The Walmart I go to is near a hick town. The big manufacturing companies which for which the town was founded on have long since left for China...

I'm often amazed at the knowledge of some people, especially those that can do things like offer insight into the minds of every person that works for WalMart and their circumstances. You must do a lot of contemplating to attain such elevated insight. Ever thought about a political career? :)

I still don't get all the China hate.

They claim Russia could easily bankrupt the U.S

I work with people 1/3rd my age that worry more every day about how much they can make than how well they can do their job. Makes me wonder how anything gets done. Makes me wonder if people really see what America has become.

I watched 50+ people leave my company first of the year. They took a Company pay out - 1 week per year of employment, then Unemployment benefits kick in.
Why? Because they were to lazy to accept working 5 x 8hr shifts instead of 3 x 12 hr shifts.
The company guaranteed room for everyone under the reformatting plan.......... but they still walked.
Now I can add them to my tax burden.:glare:

Some people are wise
Some are intelligent
Many are just arrogant

OK, I think I can sum up Steve now

"If you don't make as much as me, you aren't as worthy. There are no such things as 'circumstances' that could cause you to have problems. And if you were as worthy as me, you too could afford authentics. Since you aren't as worthy, you should be happy with your eGo and Kanger"

Y'all look it over: did I miss anything?

Authentic mods aren't expensive, especially the cheap originals from China...
