Just a heads up, if this thread gets too boring, a few more clone/authentic threads have popped up in the last 5 minutes. Variety is the spice of life!

And apparently dead-horse beating is one of the more popular sports on ECF... ;)

Hadn't really worked that out, Rossum... but my husband is both mechanically and electrically talented, so he could probably figure out something. Just point that man at a problem, and say "can you fix that?" and watch him go to town! :p
Yep, my wife says husbands have three purposes:
  • Fix things that need fixing
  • Kill things that need killing
  • Lift heavy stuff
And I imagine that a nic-deprived wife would be tremendous motivation for him to find a way to get you a small amount of electricity. :D

I love when these pop up every so often....
why limit it to vaping?
Same could be said really for any electronic out in the market?
If it wasn't for smaller companies "cloning" then the big wigs would keep hiking up their prices just because they can......
and as stated sometimes the clones are actually improved over the authentic...case in point the new istick 20w...don't get me wrong, I love my istick and am glad I got it but....now the clones are out and they have fixed the issues that were present in the istick20w.....

not everyone has money to blow.....and sometimes just because it's considered a clone, doesn't make it lesser quality.....just means they aren't namebranded and thus hiked up in pricing for trademarks......

I dunno why anyone thinks about vaping in shtf/eotw scenarios. If that happens, I'm smoking fat stogies to the head.

hell no, consumer electronics are an all-out IP warzone!

This is just ... horrible. The state of the world today. Horrible.

Where is the company that fixed the problems of the eleaf istick 20w and sells it cheaper. I have a 20 and a 30 already with 2- 50's ordered for a whopping total of $142. That's an avg. of 35 bucks a piece. Eleaf must have copied the clone and fixed theirs too, cause my 30 works great. Are you talkin about another company that is makin a 20 with all the problems fixed? Are they gonna have a 50w too? Do you think it will be better than eleaf's?:vapor:

i'm just referring to the 20w, i know they corrected issues in the 30 and 50 as people have stated in the eleaf istick thread :) (hoping with the mini too but haven't seen any feed back on it yet, unless i missed it)
but yes cruse through fasttech and you'll see several "clones" of the 20w that fixed the issues with the istick 20w

i don't remember which one exactly it was but there's the Earl, BOU, Smart-20 to name a few

[edit]can't find the one i was thinking of now though...the above ones i do believe are all calibrated "correctly" but there was one that had a spring loaded 510 to it....and steel threading....if i find it again i'll post it....

Because I've got a few years worth of nic base stored away, but no combustible tobacco at all. :D

I've got a little nic, and a little more on the way, and plan to keep adding to that stash incrementally as long as possible -- the 12 cigarettes I have in that ziplocked pack in the freezer wouldn't last long. :D

Heh... why do you think he kept buying me cigarettes for 27 yrs? :D But just as soon as I found something I like better... he's ALL OVER that! :D

PS: And I've finally gotten thru one of my 30ml bottles of 100mg, so now I know that each 30ml is roughly a 2-3mo supply; at that rate, I have anywhere from 18 to 24 months worth already stashed, with another 120ml on its way, which would make roughly another year's worth.

Though once I get done with WTA in 8-ish months, the regular nicotine will get used faster. Still, the additional 120ml will mean I have *at least* a 2 yr supply.

I didn't know that the Earl 20 was a redesigned eleaf 20 that had fixed the problems with the 20 ie the output signal and connector threads. Are you sure? I thought they were just cloned or rebranded eleafs.

You missed the Buy last week.
MFS - 1 liter - $40.

Save up. They do that a few times a year.
