Could be.

I just find it Strange that Many People had the Money to buy Cigarettes Every Month. But now they need to buy a Counterfeit because they Don't have any Money.

And to makes things Worse, some of their Profile Picture shows Row after Row of mods neatly Organized in order by Size.

;)

Maybe they have to spend more on groceries since they quit smoking :)

I know people who are horrible at managing their money. And I wouldn't advise anyone to make purchases above their means. I don't know most people like you do but I'm not even positive that any of the rebranded mods are not done with the consent and profit of the original manufacturers. Kawasaki Motor Co. sold bikes to American Eagle in California who marketed them in the states..

I'm not talking about re-branded mods, but actual counterfeits, with the same markings, engravings, packaging and even Made In stamps...

Vaping has helped me with those "I need sweets" cravings too! I quit smoking last year for 6 months, and I ate ice cream nearly every night after dinner (a fav cig time)... I gained 30 freaking pounds!

I am so thankful for vapes because not only have I quit cigs (again), but I am now losing weight to boot!

IMO - people are making excuses here to justify buying a clone of a $200-300 authentic mod for $50-100, when there are plenty of new authentics out that in the $50-100 range are everybit as good!

Maybe.

And I would Never give Someone a Hard Time if they were on the Level of Making Decisions about how Many Groceries can be Bought before the Money Runs out. Because there have been Times in My Life when I was Broke. And know what it means to be Hungry.

But then Again, at those Times, I wasn't Buying Anything that Wasn't Needed.

Which Kayfun model are you referring to as having the best vape?

I have 2 Tobeco KFL+ tanks, both with "2mm custom airflow." I'm about to buy an EHPro KFL+, which may be slightly different, but considering that I keep my tobecos' airflow almost entirely closed, I can probably adjust the EHPro to suit me too.

And although I paid $32.95 for each of my Tobecos, since the new v4 kayfuns have come out and pushed prices of all the older models down even lower, I can now buy the EHPro KFL+ -- in the "gold" variation -- for $24.95.

Blasphemy. Everyone needs 32 clones in order to survive...

Just curious with all the uproar over counterfeit products in this industry, why so many vapers knowingly buy clones?

Seems counterproductive to me...?
I'm not the person who's going to drop $150 on a nice new RTA and then find out I don't like it and then find out I can't get a refund. At least if I buy a clone for $20-$40 it won't be as detrimental to my wallet, and would look pretty sitting on a shelf if I don't like it lol.

I think for many it goes like this. That's a great mod and if I had money to burn I would buy it, but I'm not gonna be ripped off with that ridiculous price so I'll buy the clone. Some will add: I'll get the same thing.plus get back at them for tryin to rip me off. :) Others simply. Hey that's a good deal, I'll pay $30 for that! And go about their day thinkin nothing about it :)

That could be argued as a necessity for someone to refrain from smoking with gear that will satisfy their cravings.

I should have been more specific; which authentic Kayfun are you referring to? Your fav clone is a clone of which Kayfun model(s)?

For the last 5 yrs I smoked, I never bought cigarettes by the carton -- over $50 was just a huge chunk of our income, and one never knew if something else "necessary" might be needed -- I bought them 2 pks at a time at Walgreens, for around $10/2 pks, and there were MANY times my husband had to roll pennies, to scrape up enough to buy me 2 more pks. So $100 for a TANK??? Not happening. If that was all that was available of that particular style tank, then I'd have to make do with far less satisfactory hardware, and who knows if I'd have been able to remain smoke-free. But since I can get that same tank, without logos but with the same design, for a quarter of the price of the authentic, then naturally I'm going to do that, and I'm not going to apologize to anyone for it. Because yes, if I had to spend more to make vaping work for me, we WOULD have to buy far less food -- just as we often had to buy less food if the check was tight, but I still needed my $88 per pay period for smoking. Been there, done that, not going back.

All y'all that have more money than compassion... TOUGH.

I paid too much for my Audi. Those thieves. I should have just paid someone to steal one at the port of entry and switched out the VIN plates...

I am not rich by any means nor am I not compassionate, I understand what it is to be broke! I simply now spend my cig savings on vape gear.

At your stated $88/week savings not smoking cigs, that's an available $352/month to spend vaping. Should negate the need to buy a clearly counterfeit product!
