The hardware is not my issue with funds wasted, its the juice. These creations are not "Members Only" jackets or Nike Jordons shoes. If someone could teach me to not put garbage thru a great pv please send me a link to that therapist or meeting , asp.
PS- juice over buy complex is real even two years later.

LMAO.... Youmadbrah you're so funny. I'd never spend $900 on a phone..... unless I won the lotto.

Most people who smoke tend to be on the lower economic scale. At least as far as I know in the US smoking these days tends be associated with poorer people. Strange how that pans out, you would think the opposite would apply(I'm sure it does sometimes). I know I'm apart of that statistic living on a fixed income for now(fingers crossed it will change).

So yes, a Provari is an arm & a leg. Because I've never owned a mod and it would become more then 200$ for the spare parts involved.

But hey, if its so cheap for ya brah you can certainly buy me one ;) I'd love you forever

Price is in the eye of the beholder. I bought the provari for my 6 months analog free present. Wanted something durable, with enough battery life to get through the day, and enough tech to satisfy the dork in me. Was it expensive, yes. But when you smoked 2+ pad at $7.35 average works out that it cost me the same as about 2 weeks worths of cigs. It's become my constant companion at work when driving my truck where the pt isn't an option if I want to listen to XM. With the new 2600mah batts get about 7 hours of vaping, which means I no longer have to carry 7 kr808's around at work. Still have three of them on me at all times, but only use them when I'm not driving so usually only use up 2 before the end of the day. Was the expense worth it, for me yes. Others will say no because they can use a vv box mod at a much cheaper price. When you're prone to being rough on items though, that $20 mod will turn into a $200 mod by the end of the year when you have to replace it every month or so because you keep dropping it, it gets smashed while you're working, etc. Steel is far stronger than plastic. It's like buying a $40 knife in comparison to a $200 one. The $40 blade will do the same job, but after a year of hard use it will need replacing. I've had a benchmade 710 for going on 9 years and it's used daily and it's still has legs left. So that extra $160 dropped into it has saved me $160 in the long run as of today. It's all in how look at it on what the real cost of an item is.

All I can say is it took 2 drops for my wife to break her madvapes VV box kit. My provari has hit the ground more times than I care to admit. Not only that a couple weeks ago it went flying and hit a concrete drive way at the same force as if I threw it as hard as I could. Picked it up and only scratches. My 4 ego batteries I got 2 months ago are so weak I would have to replace them if I didn't have my provari. Ego batteries are what 20 bucks a pop so 4 would be 80 bucks every 2 months gets pretty expensive. I use to think the provari was expensive but now realize it is actually very cost efficient and I can tailor the vape to me.

It was well put when said it depends on your funds. I for one am raising a family. Plus cooking at where I do does not pay that much. Jobs are short where I live so therefore you take what you can get. That being said, yes in the long run, it could be better to get a $200 PV....but what am I to do and vape in the mean time? Upwards of $30 a week is the best I can afford. So please explain how do I keep my, and my wifes to be, vaping supplies up, so I can vape, and get a $200 PV? Maybe this time next year I can afford one by saving. No, I have not read all the posts in this thread, but I must say the person starting this thread was a bit callous in thier assumption.

I have dropped my Madvapes VV box mod many, many times - and as good as new. Then again I did bling it up with nail art wrap, rhinestones and a lot of dimentional glue, so it is really has a strong hard finish and difficult to break now. The bare plastic probably breaks easier.
My eGo batteries are going strong after 3 months too. But as for my Provari.... that is the one I really dread to drop!

"Expensive" is a funny word. So is "afford," when it comes down to it.

We value what we value, and we all make choices. Compare apples to apples, and iphones to iphones, though: The Provari is an expensive PV. Fact, not opinion. Compared to most PVs, it's very near the high end of the price range, and the majority are much less. Sure, it's cheaper than an iphone, a mercedes, or a Gibson Les Paul. But...none of those vape, y'all. Compared to PVs, which is what it is, it's pretty expensive.

I'm willing to pay for quality, but there are points of diminishing returns and for everybody they're different. A $200 provari set up obviously vapes better than a $40 riva set up. 5 times better? Opinion. If the difference isn't worth $160 to you, or if you aren't sure that it will be, you're probably better off keeping the dosh.

You can say it's cheaper than smoking; well, it's meant to be. A lot of folks weren't happy with what they were spending smoking, and wanted to spend the money on other things. (Hobbies, family, bills, whatever.) Vaping gives them that choice.

If you want a provari enough to spend the dough, get one. But there's no point in saying it's not expensive. It's one of the three or four most expensive PVs I can think of.

If you don't want to spend the cash for a provari, thankfully there are lots of delightful budget vape-ables out there.

PS- Morandir, I also have a benchmade 710. Only had it about 5 years, but it's still as good as new.

I always see ,when someone suggests Provari . He follows it with "If your budget allow,if you got the cash..etc,"

Its only $160 or $200 before sale. I mean hello ,Iphone is $900 I think. IMO $160 or $200 is a very good price for something that u can use for years . Its an electronic device after all ,and a good investment

200USD is almost a month salary in the philippines. Now, is provari cheap or expensive?

Thankfully we have this wonderful lady in the vaping community that we call "Mamu".
Here is one of her latest. This will blow a Provari right out of the water!

You said you wanted detailed :2cool:

Thanks so much for the link I was looking for something exactly like that!

I was trying to explain to my father about a VV mod (he doesn't smoke or vape) and wasn't sure I was getting he point across to him. He's got some electronics background (hobby wise).

I never bought one because other than the price.. you still have to get juice to it and bottom feeding was the way to go for me. I dripped for months but that gets old and cartos need constant refilling. I've just started using tanks so that takes away the constant feeding problem. I'd like to have one but right now I just can't spend that much money. I wasn't a heavy smoker, I spent maybe $60 a month on cigarettes. I'm sure that I would probably end up saving money in the long run. The lavatube looks real interesting right now.

I read just the first page and this is my take....

I went for economy and researched the poo out of e-cigs before buying. I got a joye 510 kit, expanded with 3 more batts one atty and juice. I spent about $160. My DH and I are very happy with the quality.

1. I wanted to save money and get rid of my addiction. The reason... My addiction to analogs was cutting into the money I would use for bills. If It came between cigs or a bill... I could put off the bill (till next payday) and get cigs.

2. I am just a thrifty person. I use the FREE or $35 phone with metro for $50 a month... DO just internet (no TV because I can watch online) for $80 (and yes that is a lot for internet... but no how we use it).

Would I spend $200 on a quality pv??? YES! I was willing to do so actually. I thought they were all around that price for a good one. Glad that they were not. :) I did spend $160 for everything, 5 batts (2 reg, 3 xl) 3 attys, 1 charger and 9 juices; (5) 3ml, (3) 4ml, (1) 30ml.

I figure if you like vaping... and you are saving the $$$ anyway (even if you are on a budget) you can put the same amount of $$ aside that you would normally spend in a day if you did smoke, and get a Provari, if that is what you want. If you really want one you will find a way. Just like all the broke people I see with a Iphone. I bet they ate top romen for a month. :)
