Well so far I've run about 60ml through the Goblin with the same set up. Luckily no leaks yet from the fill screw or the AFC. This setup, I've got a single 2.5mm spaced coil in there at 1.4 ohms. Rayon for wick, with the second juice channel just blocked up with rayon to stop leaks.

I'm using an amber coloured juice in there, so it's just getting to the stage now where it will need a fresh coil/wick in there. At 15 watts on the IPV this thing is still chucking out the vapour. The flavour is almost as good as any of the drippers I've got.

For anyone still on the fence over this atty, I'd say just try one and see :D

Does anyone else's leak down into the air flow control?

I can see a lot of vapor coming from the air holes and would have to think that it condenses under and around the bottom of the tank. May not be leaking at all. I have 3 Goblins ( #520, #1333 and #6650 ) the older 2 were better machined but still have had no leaking from any of them. Also I think some people are building their coils way too low ohm wise, this is a very small area when you put the chimney on.

I totally concur. Anyone with a Lemo finds a few drops of eliquid in the base every time they refill. Big airhole directly under a popping coil, some of that spatter must go down.

Heh, right. I had a leak from the afc ring and it was not just a little spatter, it was actively leaking. I could blow what was in there out, and within seconds it was just about full, and blocking airflow.

The goblin definitely has potential to leak like a sieve out of the air flow holes.
Agreed. There's the "that's completely normal" little bit and then there's the "flash flood".

I can only speak as to what I have, if yours is leaking that badly then something is very wrong and I would speak to the person I bought it from.

Both of my Goblins are vaping like champs. Could not be happier. The small learning curve with wicking is worth the trial and error. If your a rebuilder and you don't have one, you are missing out. A cheap topper like this will have its small share of defects. Most venders who sell the UD line, will give you parts and returns fairly quickly.

Got a AFC tip in the mail yesterday. Mainly got it to get more airflow out of the Orchid, which it worked great for. Almost equivilent air draw to the Goblin, half open. If you have a tank that lacks a little in the air department, a AFC drip tip works wonders! No dry hits either, which is what I was initially afraid of..

Tried it on the Goblin, and it's way too much air! (this coming from a guy who likes a good airy draw) I had to close it almost all the way off for it to hit decently. That's the beauty of the Goblin. Bone stock, and no need to introduce any more air into this thing.
