Someone pointed out to me that this statement might be misconstrued by the ECF Admins to qualify me as a "Supplier".

For clarification. I have been a small "craft" mod maker for 3 years. In all that time I have only ever sold 1 (one) mod, and it was at cost. I do make dozens of mods that I give to friends and family. It is my understanding that "giving" away mods does not constitute being a "Supplier" on ECF.

The point I was trying to make is that "giving away" ENDS will become illegal in August. Thus the ruling encompasses me.
Yes, the FDA is way more strict than ECF, except they are allowed to swear, and encouraged to when discussing who to deem.

hrmmmmmmm so... no more contest after August?..... and what are all those poor reviewers going to do now, if they can not get free stuff after August I guess they will be out of business too. Interesting twist.

Yes, hadnt thought about that one, it will put a dent in the whole review industry.
A few of them are a waste of bandwidth anyway.

They had to sign a statement saying they would not discuss anything.

Basically what we did get was all the FDA basically did was take notes and ask a few questions. Our case was stated and that is all I know. Confidentially agreement is pretty binding. The FDA did not tip its hand... at least not then.

They pretty much did though when the documents were released or leaked or whatever back in 2014. We just didn't think they could possibly be that draconian.

Those of us that had seen the FDA in action did. I occasionally wonder what the people who were trying to convince us otherwise are now thinking.

While I tend to agree with your second point, I imagine the first one will be made with an "at cost" clause.

It is saddening that both California Senators were signatories to this. I knew Boxer was rabid anti-vaping, but apparently Feinstein is too.

More saddening is how our government has somehow decided that they need to control every aspect of our lives.

Frau Feinstein has never believed in personal freedoms, unless they pertain to her specifically.

"Feinstein, who has taken the lead on efforts to renew a federal assault weapons ban, acknowledged during a hearing in 1995 of previously having a concealed weapon permit."

Something that was hard to get in CA at that time...

Absolutely agree.

California, as a whole, has become more and more draconian in their regulations on personal freedoms, and even constitutional rights. It is happening at the federal, state, and local levels. Take a gander at the legislative agenda around gun control in California for further proof. I am, frankly, tiring of it... rapidly. Unfortunately, from a weather and "things to do" perspective, California (and especially Southern California) is a tough place to leave.

I really wish people would not compare alcohol (heavily taxed and regulated) and guns to vaping. I know that it's all a question of personal freedom and harm reduction, but no one has ever accidentally shot someone while cleaning and unloaded mod. Gang members do not pack mods and "pop a vape in yo' mouf."

Oh, and automatic vaporizers, aka fog machines, are not being regulated.

No one was comparing vaping to guns (except as you have here). We're comparing the hypocrisy and dishonesty of those who are against vaping and individual rights.

And there has been many incidents of people with exploding mods - about the same type as gun accidents - people who don't know what they're doing.
