That is how I'm feeling this morning!

Yikes, we woke up about 3ish this morning with a tornado warning to the South of us! The pounding rain afterwards kept us awake until 5ish, then I fell back to sleep and now the sun is shining! Thank God it didn't come to our county, but the folks it did hit had some major damage.

Get warnings like that, and it makes ya sit up real straight!!

Yikes  Living in tornado alley #2, having a big bullseye complete with flashing neon arrow sign saying hit here on the roof (mobile home) we consider the weather radio more important than the smoke detector. In 5 years we have only had to stuff the cats in the crates and head for shelter once. I have a simple packing list for that emergency. If it has a heart beat it gets packed, if not then the insurance co can buy me a new one.

Today's my 3rd Vaperversary!

Here's video from 2 days ago. I thought my buddy Buddy's horse was brown, but obviously I'd been looking at the wrong horse. Danny the horse is 10 years old and Buddy was there for the birth. Danny's father was a Foundation Quarter horse, and Danny's mother is a Reigning Quarter horse.

The free wifi here at Circus Circus in Vegas is a lot faster than my DSL at home. Only took about 15 minutes to upload this video to YouTube, whereas it would have taken about 2 hours at home.

Congratulations on the Vaperversary! Big milestone. I'm coming up on 4 years in April. Wonder when it stops being a big deal. I quit for four years once before and started back. Of course someone was shooting at me then, kind of rearranges your priorities. It was amazing one day not smoking at all, couple of days later I was smoking 2 PAD again. This time it's going to stick! Congrats again Bells, just thinking about back then makes me realize how hard it really is. Thanks goodness for vaping. :)

Well now, CONGRATULATIONS! You've got 3 good years of reclaimed good health!!!

I will watch the video after I type this post, but I know it will be good...like most of yours are!

You always have a way of putting things in a way that makes me smile.

Matt, I can tell you that it doesn't stop being a big deal....methinks I'm the oldest (chronologically) and among those who have been vaping the longest! I still consider it one of the best gifts I've ever given to myself, and if it weren't for Barbara (Peaches) I wouldn't have known about vaping. RIP, Barbara!!

Congratulations! I don't think I will ever take a vaping anniversary for granted knowing it was the only thing that actually got me to quit smoking.

Sounds like you are really enjoying your trip. And we still get flight videos! So continue to have fun, and continue to enjoy your freedom from smoking.

Well we just watched feeding time at the Eagles nest. Little bit of house cleaning and back to bed. Amazing how something that big can be so gentle. Still don't know which is the male and which is the female. This is the one with the scruffy feathers and that was the one on the nest last night too.

What I meant to say is what I said.....Bells is a big boy, and knows that some of his videos are better than others.....on the whole, I enjoy seeing how he has progressed with the quality of his videos.

The one that looks as though she had a bad hair day is the female......the male is more polished for lack of a better word.

Why can't these telemarketers at least get people who can speak English. So far today I had window, expedia and ADT
Oh, we had a good one this morning.....there is a scam currently going on, and we were one of the recipients.....so......dh asked the guy what his name was, and then he asked his last name, and how to spell it.....the guy hung up.........dh was having fun!

I think the garment industry has gone crazy !!! I have to shop for some clothes and there is no longer any kind of standardized sizing across the board, as there once was. In the past there might be a variance of an inch, but no longer. On the one hand there is "vanity sizing".....which means...let's fool the ladies into thinking they are smaller than they really are by labeling a 14 or 16 as a size 10. I have a bathroom scale, a tape measure and a mirror....I am not fooled, just angry....and then there are the garments made with Asian sizing....an XL is too small for a woman weighing more than 110.
If I didn't have sweatpants, worn until they are as thin as a T-shirt, and falling off of my fanny because I've lost weight....I'd just give up and say forget it.....:-x

Tell me about it... I'm a rather small guy... about 5'3", and around 130lbs... finding clothes that fit are next to impossible! Forget shopping in the men's department, smallest waist size 'SAYS' 30", I'm a 29", so you'd think that'd be close enough... nope... and I'm not even gonna get into the inseam. Unless I buy pants out of the kid's department, then Imma HAVE to get them hemmed, because good luck finding a 28" inseam! Then there's the shirts... sure, I can get one that fits in the shoulders and chest, but dammit, I am NOT built like a gorilla! My arms are proportionate to the rest of me... they are NOT 6" too long like every shirt on the rack... So, I get stuck with T-shirts... from the kid's department... now, good luck finding one that doesn't have Dragonball Z or Transformers on it.... too bad I can't afford a personal tailor!

I'm not sure I've seen you here on the back porch before.....so...

I understand and can really relate to your problem. My late hubby was a little taller, but very slim and I can't even count how many pants I had to hem over the years. They accommodate petite women, plus sized women and for guys big and tall...
It would be nice if they recognized a segment of the population that's being over looked....;)

Why Thank Ya!!
Yeah, 3mg Meniere pointed me in this direction... I dropped into the Front Porch and then just wandered through the house back here. I've been around ECF for a little while now, but don't venture very far from my usual hangouts too often. I'm trying to expand that now that I'm getting to know a bunch of really great people around here. I figure no better way to get to know people than to just jump on in, huh?

Yeah, I always thought there should be a "Short and Small" right next door to the "Big and Tall" stores... LOL! I guess there just aren't enough of us around to warrant such a thing... :(

I would guess there are enough men around to want it.... just not vocal enough to raise a fuss and demand it ;)

You're probably right... my wife has issues finding clothes too. She's 4'11" and a little "healthier" than me when it comes to size... (can't think of a better way to say that... lol). But we can both attest to the fact that one size certainly does NOT fit all... pretty much with anything... whoever came up with that idea anyway?
