I don't think they were out before 07. It is sort of like saying well you can still drive your car but all safety equipment seat belts, shoulder harnesses, air bags will be illegal.

It is crazy to stop all the advances they have made in vaping making it even less harmful and have to go back to the least safe mech, homemade at that.

Thats what worries me. I love TC and eventually these chips are liable to go TU then what. I don't even know what was around in 2007 I didn't start till 2009 and it was all crap then. I thought about getting 3 spare SXM's but man thats $550 but we gotta save the kids,ya right. How well did prohibition work. I'm sure cigarettes will still be around. I have enough flavoring to make 5000ml of each of my favorites. Need to get somemore Kanger parts,got lots of wire 200' nickel 60' Ti 60' NiFe48 200' Kanthal if I get desperate. A couple of friends in Canada and a couple in UK. One in Moscow. Need more nic man its like being a survivalist.
Even though I'm Provarinati I think they missed the mark with their new $200 mod with no TC. They should've gone with that mod and a DNA200 chip in my mind then it would be worth it. I'm sure they will sell a bunch but they would've sold more with one of the new TC chips.
Wait nic, wire and flavors were around before 2007 right? but not this wire. So many things to buy so little money sheesh.
When do they vote on this they can't get together on anything else but they probably will this. It's actually in now right they are just trying to push up the date?

You could order 500 ft of each type of wire and that would probably last a lifetime.

yeah I'm sure it would affect vape stores, they would essentially be out of business. But I don't see how it could affect a place like Temco for getting wire, at least kanthal. Don't imagine we'd be able to get batts from places like RTD, unless they "went out of business" (vape wise) and just became a non vape vendor selling batts and stuff, but they can't keep us from buying 18650 batts from other places like illum.com Didn't they sell them for flashlights long before vaping? Which is one more reason I have no interest in temp control etc.

Almost every rechargeable tool that uses lithium ion batteries has a battery pack that uses 18650 batteries inside it. Even those 40volt lawn mowers do. So do flashlights use them, so orbtronics will always sell them.

I don't see how they can not sell the flavors, wire, etc cuz those are used for things other than vaping. We should still be able to get all that, but not nic. This is why I went to Reos. Nothing can break on it that I can't fix, will still be able to get batts, wire etc I need to stock up on nic still and get a couple more attys and I'll be totally set.

I currently have about 5,000 ml of nic plus more coming any day now...I started stocking up a couple years ago as I was pretty sure that the crooks that run our country would jump in with both feet and tax the crap out of our vaping cuz it's such a money maker and the cigs no longer generate enough income for the greedy lowlife S.O.B.s

I also have enough wick, Kanthal and flavorings to last my lifetime and my next purchase will be about a dozen atties.

Those LOWLIFES will NOT force me back to cigs. And I'm tickled pink that the "Big Tobacco" is taking such a hit!!!!...lacing cigs with addictive drugs, the criminals....

My crystal ball is kinda fuzzy, these days ... Looks (to me) like Congress will change the 2007 date to coincide with the effective date of the deeming regs. A lot of vendors are introducing new mods right now - I'm guessing so that they will be grandfathered in. It's the juice, specifically, the nic, that concerns me. Fuzzy pink socks on order!

It's really a shame too because they are finally getting the chips to work right and the wire NiFe48 the real stuff from Germany everyone that tries it is changing over to it. Supposed to be just like Kanthal in the fact you wrap a microcoil, dry burn it but it has TC capabilities. It will just be the good old USA going back to cigarettes.

Nope ... won't be just the good old USA. The EU already passed some draconian laws controlling vaping.

Surprisingly, as the threat has increased, nic prices have dropped. I bought the majority of my nic earlier and paid twice as much (and more).

We will all survive, but I fear for the new vapers and those that don't know, and current smokers that don't stand a chance in (the hot place) of finally quitting.

Hopefully, we here are, or will be, capable of surviving any governmental onslaught on vaping. I agree with you, Cathy! I'm most concerned 'bout those smokers that have yet to be exposed to and educated about vaping.
