Well, I got back from vacation and my package from China was waiting for me. They messed up my order, but I guess to some extent that is almost SOP for this company.
Considering all of the hooplah, fanfare, and cheer-leading regarding these cartomizers.. I must say that I am woefully unimpressed. Vapor production.. "OK". Throat hit: "OK"... Flavor "OK". Cartomizer-to-cartomizer consistency: "Fair".
At this point, IMHO, they are nothing special and nothing to get worked up about. Yes.. I realize that I can sort them, and I can tweak them, and I can probable make them better.... but that is neither an advantage or a selling point. If I can't recommend them with a clear conscience to vaping friends, then they are not a viable product in my opinion.
I look forward to my shipment of "the next best revision (ceramic)"... but until then, I have to label these as "not ready for prime time" and will put them in that big pile of stuff that I call "dubious purchases".
At this point, I like them for the Wetbox which obviates the need for their special filling requirements and so far the Wetbox switch has held up to the wattage. I get good flavor and vapor with each squeeze and I'm wondering if it is just that the bottom feed, feeds the coil better. Won't be using them on any other PV. There are better alternatives out there - namely, the LR attys/cartos and the mega eGo atty/cart which, with duration is a good choice, imo. Yeah, not the vapor of the 1.6Ω cartos but duration is a good tradeoff in some scenarios.

Cuddy: Oh, I looked up that philosopher you quoted, Jagger, and you're right. You can't always get what you want. But as it turns out, if you try sometimes, you get what you need.
