Imeo,

How hard would it be to use aluminum versus brass on the telescoping part of the GGTS? I love the look of brass when it's brand new, but as we all know brass gets ugly fast. We end up scrubbing more than vaping if you want it to look pretty. I have an all aluminum GGTS and I would love to make that truly all aluminum with the scope as well. I think a new poll is in order!!

As Emonty said, the aluminium versus aluminium will have threading problems after a while. And if the one piece stuck inside the other it will be almost impossible to unscrew it.

The most threading problems comes from pieces that screw each other and they are made from the same material. The reason is that none of the pieces is stronger than the other so none of them can take the shape of the other's threads. Thats a reason that sometimes threads get stuck and its impossible to get them apart exept you ruin them

And is an O ring kit needed, possible, desired?
