I like a tight MTL vape. I still use an old school kayfun Light plus clone however, I wonder if there are any top fill alternatives that actually offer that same tight airflow.

I have tried a kayfun 5 clone and the Siren 22 MTL. Both have more airflow than I prefer, even on their smallest airflow settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Someone posted a link to a Tobeco K5 on Eggcity's web site for $26.99 +$3.20 USPS standard shipping. I have one coming. Busardo says in his review that it's designed to be a combination tank for cloud makers and MTL vapers alike. He does mention that it doesn't close down air flow quite as much as most MTL tanks but he likes it.

We'll see. I've been waiting for the K5 clones to hit and the price was right. Eggcity shipped the same day and it went through 4 city handoffs across Hawaii in a day or so. I should be getting it by Wednesday or Thursday.

I've tried the Orchid V4 and several other MTL tanks and keep coming back to Kayfuns.

Thanks. I now have some RTAs to look up. Hopefully one has a tight enough airflow for me. Though, I'm sceptical. I have tried many tanks, sub ohm vaping, huge clouds with low ohm coils in a RDA.

I keep coming back to my trusty kayfun light plus clones with simple 28g kanthal micro coils in the 2 ohm range at around 8 watts. The tight draw, throat hit and flavor are my favorites. I just hate that I have to remove the tank from my mod and remove a small screw to fill it.

SJMY makes an excellent 1:1 Clone of the Kayfun V5 and you can get the inserts to restrict the air even further. The SJMY Kayfun is $25 at 3Fvape and the MTL inserts are at Origin Vape for $10. I'd go with that combo for the SJMY is so close to the Authentic that the MTL kit should work fine, I've heard that they do.

The Kayfun mini v3 and mini v3 plus are both top fill with a juice shutoff and are both excellent.

I just got my Tobeco Kayfun 5 in the mail from Eciggity in Hawaii. $26.99 + $3.20 USPS basic shipping to Ga. I ordered on Thursday, they shipped the same day, and it arrived on Monday. I was impressed with their order processing and also with USPS shipping from Hawaii.

The Tilemahos is a good choice. I have a clone V2 Plus found here $21.76 Tilemahos V2 Plus Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 4ml / 304 stainless steel + PC / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping And a authentic Springomizer deck which works really well Tilemahos NEW Rebuildable Part 2,5mm Center Post Hole (Springomizer 4mm channels) - The Golden Greek Store The tank has top fill and juice flow control. The flavor is really good and it MTL's very well.

Another great one is The Hurricane. I have a clone version of this tank and it is truly fantastic. I wish I could afford a authentic and would gladly pay it if I could. This one does not have topfill but the vape quality from it is so good that I can over look that. https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10016054/5992400-sjmy-hurricane-styled-rta-rebuildable-tank

And one that I do not have yet but it is on the way too me is the EVL Reaper. This tank has great reviews and it is available in a clone version. https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10028107/6150200-evl-reaper-styled-rta-rebuildable-tank-atomizer It is suppose to be one of the best flavor tanks around right now. Here is a nice review of the EVL from one of the Plumes of Hazard guys. I trust his thoughts on the tank and cannot wait till I get mine.

That is good to know I am excited to be getting mine. How is the airflow compared to the K5? A little less I am guessing?

I had many original kfl and I currently vape a bunch of kayfun mini v3 but never bought the 5. I do know the 5 is more airy then the km3 and my reapers are pretty much the same as my km3's. So yes , I would think the reapers are tighter then the k5 without the restricted kit. I wonder though, if getting the clone, how different it will be because of the different materials? Probably wouldn't make that much difference in vaping but just in weight because the authentic is titanium and I doubt the clones would be. Also both of mine are in the nano version at 2ml, I had to purchase that because they just looked to tall in regular mode imo. They are fairly basic looking and are not top fill but they sure vape awesome and fantastic flavor. It doesn't bother me about the top fill, I actually like it the way it is, alot of my juices are in 60ml bottles or bigger and are just screw tops and I'm able to just pour in the juice. Also besides the mini kit, I purchased poly tank to replace the glass, I like it better because with the glass, in mini mode, it was easy to chip the glass tanks as they were screwed into the tank

My clone I ordered is suppose to be Titanium and it looks like it is in the stock photo's. Although......those photos could be from the original manufacturer. FT says they are titanium so I would expect them to be exactly that. They are pretty good about what materials are used. And it is priced over 30 dollars which is pretty high for a FT item so that should be a good sign.

I do not mind a tall tank to gain capacity. A mini kit could be something I may get down the road will have to see how I like the tank when I get it.

That would be awesome if it were titanium as I couldn't really say. just because of a 30 dollar price, i thought perhaps it wouldn't be, but maybe titanium is not really that expensive after all and as usual the authentic price is a rip off. I bought both of mine second for like 120 each, so it wasn't that bad and have no regrets. I'm the opposite about capacity, I have 7 tanks in my daily rotation and all of them only have around a 2ml capacity, I rather the small size because of that. Either way this vapes exceptional and once you get the wick amounts right, she is pretty easy to build. This tank likes a bushy wick tail and is tricky with the rayon I use, but with cotton it's easy.
