Laugh, I can speak for myself, no offense intended. Post the chapter.

I do not know whether to laugh or be offended. I wrote an autobiography once but like, it sort of kind of sucked and it' not super funny. I followed the "writing code" of they day which means its nothing similar to my posts. There is one chapter I find somewhat amusing and sad, also, maybe I can shove it on my blog, IDK.

Gosh, if it's gonna be a hit, send it to M Night Shyamalan or however you spell that, he needs one pretty badly. Otherwise he will go down as a one hit wonder. "I see dead people."

I think I have actually SAID that, sincerely. LOL.

There was a local talk show host who had to go back to New York City when his mother's Alzheimer's got too bad. He tried to continue the show by phone from NYC but the connection didn't work. Today I learned that he died of COVID-19 a couple of days ago. I was afraid that might be coming.

I believe I am actually getting better. If indeed that was "some random virus" (I guess it's possible) I don't want to meet up with COVID 19, that is for sure. I still have a fever but I guess that is gonna last forever. It's lower. I'm done taking anything except Tylenol at bedtime. I have not used Albuterol in 24 hours and I got a small wheeze but I bet I have it for a while.

I sincerely hope they get a vaccine for this thing out fast. I would love to say I had the flu but man I have never had the flu with JUST respiratory symptoms and never any head congestion. I had none, zip, zero and well, meh. It is what it is.

But, I'm SO glad I didn't get sicker. Maybe that 104 something fever knocked my viral load down.

I thought the husband was getting sick. I am not so sure this morning he seems okay. Although one of his "care strategies" for not getting sick, is ignoring any symptoms so.... Here's hoping anyway.

I guess if I get around to it and it is ever available I will get an antibody test it would be nice to know, although it seems as if like, there are a jillion makers of these tests so like, IDK.

I can't wait for the announcement of a vaccine. There will probably be six or eight available. How do you choose, or even know which one you are paying for.

I kind of don't want the Bill Gates one due to the possibility of nano-bots like entering your system "deciding how you feel, act, behave, purchase and think." Yes, Clive Lewis struck again.

Bet you there won't be a choice in the USA. They will probably pick the one "they" think is best, but who knows.

Okay, so there were these two guys that were into every conspiracy theory since Adam and Eve. One day, they both died and were speaking with God. . . .

There are a bunch in development, and a few have even entered phase 1 trials for safety. But after that comes phase 2 to show that a vaccine is effective, and then it must be mass-produced. None of this happens overnight.

Well I gotta say the longer it goes on the more masked and gloved I see out there. It's like the night of the living dead, or something.

Last Christmas my work held a "Masquerade Christmas Holiday Party. The only rule was, you had to wear a mask.

I bet they don't do that this year. If they had any irony, they so, so would. But they don't. They are super serious at all times, and intermittently like, the admin is threatening or motivational.

It's a really annoying combination if like you, ah, well.... I prefer things a bit less schizoid. One minute it's like "Sign this list of complaints or you're fired," the next it's "All you are doing the work of the ecclesiastical vaguely, because we don't want to be offensive, but yeah, the world depends on us all."

I believe neither of those things. I prefer to be a cog, ignored, in a set of cogs, that turn together, nicely oiled.

I have to say I have never been so exhausted from a trip to Walmart. I have figured out also, why I don't enjoy like, them masks and gloves at all. It's hard to breathe and they make you very hot. Sauna almost.

Also groceries have SHARPLY and I mean SHARPLY risen since I last ventured to the "W" place.

I believe the Walmart clothing "try on area" is shut, but I don't get why they still can sell clothes. It matters to me little, because the great thing about Walmart, is I know my normal "body size" in their clothing, and I also know my "Body shaming" size, so I don't need to try on anything, I grab from the lowest part of the pile, and well, that's that, if I am like NO LAUNDRY this evening.

But now I enter the recuperative period, and well, after that hopefully not the too feckless period.

I was reading my book and actually I have figured out what is wrong with it. Like, every editorial person was like at me to "not this" and you can't use adverbs, you gotta paint the picture with ACTION and whatever. I read it and I was like, now I know how it goes well, I could fix this plain and simple, and make it into a reasonable yarn that is sometimes funny.

That way may lie madness IDK. But I read it and I was like, "Yep this is improvable by 300%." At least the part I could find most of it's on some thumb drive squirrelled away and my old computer.

Still that way lies madness I think. Potentially. Maybe not. It was refreshing to see where I went horribly wrong and like, how easily it could be fixed with a bit of perspective. I don't know about the 300 pages part, although I could send it to Steven King's editor. I think I might have early on and they sent me a "We would not accept this submission even for 500 dollars a word, we have better crud to do with our time, this is formally PAINFUL to us" form letter. I think they may have blocked my email address. But that was uh, draft 2. LOL. It was still written in the 2nd person which only works in a "Choose your own adventure book."

That was the first thing the literary sibling sternly said. "No. You may not write this from this perspective. I spent the entire first 10 pages going, "No, I do NOT feel/think/act this way, then I set it on fire."

Anna

I have been criticized before, and harshly is what I'm saying. I'm probably feverish from Walmart.

Huh I was told by one of my PCPs that about 75% of American's are vitamin D deficient and I was like, "No not me uh uh I go outside I drink my milk." Been supplementing for a while now I was deficient.

I have also heard vitamin D deficiency turns you into the Cowardly Lion...
NORMAL TEMP achieved this morning so yesterday so I was probably shedding less virus than many people unknowingly incubating.

It will be nice to get an antibody test and move freely among the herd without worry. :) ALTHOUGH I shall continue to ah, entertain my government's protective recommendations for now, because I don't want anyone who might need to get tested for their cowardice crying themselves to sleep or whatever. I just won't you know worry really.

Yup. But beware; too much vitamin D will build up and cause you other kinds of problems, so don't go crazy with the supplements. 1000-2000 IU/day is appropriate, whereas 5000 IU per day is probably excessive, at least over an extended period.

Of course the best way to get it is naturally, i.e. some sunshine every day now that the sun is high enough in the sky to make that happen. Winters at higher latitudes can make that almost impossible, especially for people with darker skin. My wife and I have been down here in FL since mid-January. We generally go for a 45-60 minute walk out in the sunshine every day, which I believe obviates the need for vitamin D supplements.

Yeah I been living in this place called AZ and it's like the inside of a volcano so I wear sheer mineral powder (it's better for your skin) on mah face, and either long sleeves, or sunblock. Double edged sword. After a bit more liver here and things dying down I will go visit my "PCP" for further labwork and instructions.

Well, my Dr has me on 5,000 IU of D3 a day simply because a blood test showed levels a tiny bit low., far from danger zone. I did it for months and then pretty much phased it out. On retest I was put back on at a higher dose for a few weeks, to return to 5,000 IU daily. I was getting some daily sunshine for weeks before the last test, too. So, for the over 60 crowd, I do recommend getting your D3 levels checked when you can.

    That's good to hear. :thumb:

As for your biography book, my guess that the best way to write it will be in the form of your ECF posts (you can even leave the random comments about smoking/vapes in them). :smokie:
By the end of the book, readers of any age will have some silver hair or even silver head and clear understanding that they should've listened to mom/dad much more.:nun:
