I’m ok sticking to what I know. No hurt feelings and it’s kinda cool to be old school with new technology.:)

Kanthal is fine for power mode. I use SS316L and sometimes play with temp mode, but it hasn't captured me yet. If you are happy with watts, then use Kanthal until it's gone.

One thing to know is that the resistance of Kanthal is twice that of SS316L. For the same coil diameter and resistance Kanthal takes half the number of wraps to achieve the same resistance as SS. That can be a limiting factor if you want to get under one ohm. You can always use a larger coil diameter or a larger wire gauge or dual coils to get lower resistance, though.

Has anyone kept track of how many coils you go thru in a year? I haven't but wish I had.

I rotate several attys throughout a week, so lots of coils. The ones I use get a coil once or twice a month and a new wick once a week, sometimes more frequently. Wire and Rayon is cheap ... that's a good thing!

I couldn't imagine having to pay for factory coils. I know that they are lasting longer, but years ago I was using one every day or two in an eGo. From comments I see new coil types are lasting a month in some attys.

I live in a bubble..... I don’t want to know how much I spent on vape related items.

Just sit down every once in a while and multiply your previous cigarette pack per day count times the current price. You'll feel better about buying new stuff.

My 2 PAD habit in 2010 times $6 gives me $4380 a year to play with. I can buy shiny new stuff pretty much all I want and still save. Multiply that times 9 years vaping and I can justify a really nice new car (about $40K).

The hubs just replaced the battery pack for a drill driver... that’s going to be some expensive batteries unless there’s a lot of them in there. I just assumed it was one big rechargeable in there. Almost makes me want to crack one open to see, but I like the hubs and don’t want to see him go to jail for wringing my neck after I murdered his battery

I wanted to mix up some Arnold Palmer but my bottle had an eye dropper and the flavoring ate the rubber out and leaked all over my flavor box! I need to order more and store it with a different cap. I put my flavors in dark glass bottles. No more eye droppers for citrus flavors!

You have to wonder about vaping something that melts rubber! :-x

Will this tank leak in pocket carry? Currently I use an RDA exclusively but would like to find a small rebuildable tank without glass and that won't leak in my pocket. Is the berserker a good choice?

I'd think it would be great for pocket carry. I carry 2 of the 24mm ones on mods, in my purse, every time I leave the house to go anywhere, and neither one has ever leaked in it. Never noticed it either when using 1 of my Minis.

ETA: I can only say that for the authentics though, as I've never had a clone.

I think if you bottom fill and close off the air hole it shouldn't leak. I like the mini one a lot now that I bottom fill it.

Anything that cracks tanks can melt rubber when it’s concentrated/undiluted . It’s the esters, which are common in a number of artificial flavorings. You’d have to cut out a ton of flavors to avoid them. They’re also used in perfumes.

Those rubber dropper bulbs will deteriorate over time anyway, no matter what you have in the bottle they're on.
We used to buy them by the gross in the chem lab. Then switched to disposable graduated pipets for everything but the strong acids, which required glass droppers. The disposables are great for drops, but like beakers they aren’t dead accurate.

I bought a bunch of the PMP beakers that are certified accurate by Azlon. Of course, at their regular price from the plastics supplier to those in the medical, scientific, educational, etc. fields...they're ridiculously expensive. However, I don't buy from them at their regular prices. I wait for their Overstock sales and load up on a bunch of "stuff". :D

ETA: I've got bottles, beakers, test tube racks, graduated cylinders, wash bottles, centrifuge tubes, etc. in quantity from them. I donate some to schools where I used to teach (for use in their science classes), use some myself, give some away, and sell some.

Not a very clear pic, but this is my fill stopper, it is from a carto condom, I cut a smaller circle in the bottom and left a side tab for easy removal, works great for bottom filling Berserker.

Ok, dumb question about the Berserker. I got some and will be getting back to building which I haven't done in forever. I know it is a mtl atty but can I use a .5 prebuilt coil in it? Or is that way too low. I use .6 in the zenith but have a bunch of the .5 coils I would like to try.
