Apparently, I passed on bad information from another thread so I am sorry to have bothered you. I'm done.

I think that post in the other thread led many to think it was about to happen, so you're not alone.

Not that there isn't plenty of real doom and gloom, but that post was over the top. I don't like when one person's opinion or perspective leads them to strongly suggest everybody jump. Even if well intentioned, adding fuel to the burning hysteria among vapers was a mistake IMO.

Sheesh! Now you tell me. I would have slept better if I didn't read this thread right before bedtime and the last thing on my mind was yet another attack on vaping.

Back on topic:

Got our 1st two Aegis Solo's yesterday. Mine was Stealth Black, my wife's was the newer Red/Blue (she really likes the look of that accent color). We had errands to run so put a topper on them and went about our errands. Three hours later when we got home. We ordered two more. Yep, we're converts to the Solo. I got another Stealth Black (yep I'm boring) and she got the Blue/Green.

Also bought another 10 packs of Zenith coils. Is 50 packs enough for the two of us into the future? I don't know, still might get some more.

For many the joyetech clr accepting tanks with the clr coil heads are excellent and there is a long thread on these . There are other good rebuildables as well . Few years back bought lifetime supply along with everything else needed to keep vapeing with no worries of running out of something for the Mrs and i.
This is not the first scare by the Gov and sooner or later something may or may not happen learn DIY in all aspects .

I love the ego ones and for anyone interested, price reduced to 5.99 for the kit here: (cheaper than just buying the atty but you will need to get clr coils in order to rewick/rebuild)

    Joyetech Ego One VT Kit

    Coils:
    Joyetech CLR Coils (5pcs)

Joyetech Ego One CLR Atomizer Head – VaporDNA

If both you and your wife are using the coils at a rate of one each every two weeks you have just under 5 years worth..

If you build its far cheaper..

Does anyone have any suggestions (direct links to the exact product) for pre-made coils for my six EhPro Kayfun V2 Lite+ CLONEs, I have a ton of wire from my ancient rebuildable drip atty, but my hands get shaky... So I'd like to stock up on some pre-made ones to make sure I am fully prepared.

I did pick up these for a whopping $2.50 for 50: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1593903 , but I am not sure if they are any good, the included wicks look kind of thin for my taste compared to a fat wad of cotton.

Also, people keep talking about rayon, I have not used that before, where can I get some of that?
    I get .6 ohm SS coils $3.38 (Free Shipping) BTMD 316L Stainless Steel Pre-coiled Wire (316L SS, 26 AWG, 100pcs) at m.FastTech.com

Thanks, but we've got quite the stash/variety of RTA's. Rebuildables are all we've used for the last 7 years. Until we were introduced to the Zenith's a couple month's back we never tried a plug&play atty that we liked. The Zenith's are in our line up now for "convenience" and delaying the time-between-rebuilds. They are not used primarily. A coil last's at least a month or more per our usage.

Another reason for stocking up the Zenith's is 'insurance' if'n the day comes it becomes difficult to rebuild. We're both in our 70's and that's a future possibility.

If it is the same post I am thinking of that said we HAD to order today, I panicked and blew over an extra hundred bucks due to that post.

I had 160 coils coming from china and was worried if there was a ban they would be refused at customs. I have like 10 tanks that use a particular coil and I only have 15 coils left, hence the 160 from china... ended up over-paying for 100 coils in the US. But now I am going to end up having 275 coils that last me at least 3+ weeks each, so 15.8+ years worth... but I already have several other tanks with tons of coils plus 6 rebuildable tanks. I am going to guess I now have about 36 years worth of coils, cleaning them would buy me another 18 years, so 54 years total, not including RTA wire and 150 premade RTA coils. (although that is split with my wife so 27 years worth of coils).... but I only have 13.41 years of 100mg nic, unless at the half way point I taper down and cut the nic amount in half, then I could probably get 20 years or so... In the end I am left over with 14 years worth of extra coils (7 years each), not including RTA stuff.

OR you can ask when you go to the salon. If you can see the box, and they use 100% rayon, I'm sure they will give you a piece. And a small piece makes a LOT of wicks! I'm going to try that next time I go.
I'm still working on the first 3 ft of rayon I got 3 yrs ago LOL It lasts! For me there is nothing better than an SS coil with rayon wick :)

What are the differences in flavor etc of kanthal and SS?

SS is cleaner, aka, doesn't affect the taste of your juice in the slightest, giving a much brighter, cleaner flavor to your e-juice. Plus, it can be used in either TC or wattage mode, so it's more versatile a wire.

I'll be wrapping my own coils until I'm too blind to do it. But by then I'll be too blind to install them. Then what will I do?
That's why many of us stocked up on a drop in coil tank and stocked coils too. I also have plenty of cartos and carto tanks too :)
