I went to the post office today to pif a few flavors of ejuice out,,Mike is the main postal worker for years,,, real nice and smart,,, he asks what I'm shipping I tell him soap samples,, he says ok its eliquid soap. Smiles and moves along with the process. He says have you gotten everything you need from China? Yeah everything I need I have but little things pop up that get my attention. Well yesterday he says his boss is talking & expects a sudden halt to all chinese mail.. he said there is something in the news a week or so ago,,, but this is dif. Told him my last package is due Friday.

I read a news article yesterday about that, but I thought at this point it was just a threat and not official.

Sure USPS might charge China Post more, but not all (or zero) of that increase might get passed onto their customers in China. No user price increase means no difference, and the Chinese government just subsidises the exports."

Many China vendors do charge shipping so I don't know what's going to happen.

I did see FT charged an extra 35 cents for the packet I used to get for free.

Well this is interesting.. this appears it will have the net effect of locking up the U.S. market for places like Amazon and Walmart, since they will no longer have to compete with individuals undercutting the middle man and buying direct from China at cheaper rates..

While at the same time this reduces the total volume of small packages coming into the country from China, thereby freeing the postal inspectors up to actually inspect the packages that are coming in.

For us looking forward, facing the potential of the vaping products we use becoming illegal, this is not good news.

The thought that perhaps some packages will still get through is less of a reality now..

Global postal union reaches deal to prevent 'nightmare' of US exit

I have a question, I know in the states you can get 72mg nic or even pure nic and freeze it but in the uk we are limited by tpd to 20mg nic in 10ml bottles, they are mainly vg, pretty rare to get pg, so can I freeze it cause I think eventually the UK will follow suit and ban flavoured vape ect.

It looks like the US will have new higher rates for imported mail but not until next summer, based on this from the article

Countries with more than 75,000 tonnes in post imported annually – mainly the United States – may apply their self-declared new rates from July 2020, UPU officials said.
