I'm a single coil person by nature, was building them with a single horizontal coil between the posts - not their normal build [emoji3]

Mel and I traded, because it vapor locked for her. I got 2 of my Trues from users here that had issues off the bat- I traded a Doggy, and Mel got a Zenith/Kroma setup she donated to a veteran organization, I believe it was (AWESOME!).

A few True users had a leak problem on the very first build, including me. But I use 3 of them, and like I said, 2 came from people here, that they didn't work for. Both have been flawless for me. Probably has to do with build preferences that don't quite fit or something. But they are fantastic tanks, and all I use now. Incredible flavor, density, throat hit, that I haven't found a match for. Never even a tiny problem with any of them since my very first build. As reliable as doggies were.

Sorry o/t from ongoing convo. Inslee is issuing his vaping statement tomorrow here in WA. I got in under the wire, but I am at the verge of tears. I helped hundreds quit smoking for 3.5 years and I’m seeing it all get torn down.

Leaking and popping

What juice are you using? From what I remember a lot of the problems I got with Lemos, especially leaking, were from not using enough wick. I use rayon now. Get it good and tight in the coil and let it bunch up around the ends of the coil, and fill in the gaps at the side.

And what size coil? I started out using a 2mm coil and worked my way up to 3mm. That seemed to work better. Also where are you setting the airflow? At first I tried all sorts of tricks to keep the airflow adjustment from moving. In the end I just set it to the most open position because that was the only place where it wouldn't move. If you want to reduce the airflow a good way is to put tape on some of the airholes in the base.

I must admit I still get popping sometimes. Never did figure out what causes it. Most of the time it doesn't happen but sometimes it does.

THis kind of thing and not being able to duplicate a build DO get better with practice.

Leaking and popping in my experience is often not enough wicking (cotton or whatever you use).

Just ordered a full Geekvape Legend kit, snakeskin edition from Element. Tanks are like $10 compared to mod only I take the full kit just about every time. Someone was literally buying all of the 0.3 ohm coils I was trying to buy as I was putting them into my cart. I use a 3 mm coil with rayon. I make my wick as long as I can and still get the chimney on. I dont know. I keep my airflow wide open.
