I break Mr. Coffees I can't program ANY of them don't give me that cheap plastic crud. A French press is fine for emergencies or afternoon coffee but I have a coffee URN which I have had for many years, and I recently even learned to work the timer it attached to.

I like percolated coffee. I know a lot of folks hate the giant urns, but If you don't put Folgers in them, they are fine.

Anna
My mom still uses an electric percolator. It makes some potent coffee!!! I have the stovetop one my grandmother started housekeeping with. She used it on a wood burning stove till they moved from the farm to town.

I probably should mention I seriously sprained a wrist a week ago and it is still giving me problems. Safety note: When grabbing a 50 lb bag of flour at Sam's club, if the whole pile starts sliding, get out of the way. Whatever you do, do NOT try to stop it.
Yikes! Hope you feel better soon

We don't buy bread. I make it from scratch. That will last us half a year.

About 4 times a year we head to the big city to stock up on meat, veggies and fruit because it is just better quality than we can get here. So when needed we pick up the big bag of flour and it cuts the cost of bread by 50% for us over buying small bags locally.

Strangely enough now that I have lost so much weight it is much harder for me to lift now too. Not to mention strange to think I have lost 2 of those bags off my body in weight. I do however go to the gym 3 times a week and use weight machines and the eliptical. Now that its cooled down I walk daily outdoors.
I used to make our bread but hubby & I were getting fat from all that fresh bread LOL Plus I had to give up wheat and yeast, so no more bread making for me.

So, what is everyone buying today?
I bought gas for the car for work next week and I’ll probably place an amazon order for Christmas. Nothing vape related until I see a good sale. I bought a new battery charger that is utter crap. I left batteries on it for hours yesterday and they never did charge and they were brand new. Put them on the one I’ve been using and they charged fine. I’ll need another spare charger to replace that one.

TO those who picked up the Hellbeast RBA deck for the cerebus tank. Mine came in yesterday and I just set one up. A few lessons learned.

1. Before you do anything else change the oring on the bottom for the thinner one in the spares bag. Faiure to do this will result in the deck making no contact with the base of the tank and never registering on your mod.

2. Build it like you would a subtank mini rba deck. Do the bunny ears thing with the cotton and cut it slightly longer than the top of the cover ring. fluff it and stuff it down into the RBA making sure there is a good bit above the juice channels on the bottom. Why you ask? A full tank of juice that instantly leaks out the airholes of the tank is one BIG mess to clean up. Trust me on that one. You do not want to test it. ;)

Now that it is sorted it is vaping VERY nicely. No leaks in sight

We go through one 2 pound loaf a week with the hubby eating most of it. Not much room in my diet for bread but every now and then when I have a very low point dinner planned I will treat myself to a slice.

Is anyone keeping score on this thread? Of either items purchased or dollars spent? I think it would be cool. I'm not your gal but... yeah.

    Anna

I don't think so but everyone knows who the big 2019 stockers are and the 2016 stockers. I'm kind of a mixture of both.

So, what is everyone buying today?

Accidentally bought a pair of shoes. There's an app called StockX that's sort of like Ebay for shoes. I left a low bid up for well over a month and someone accepted it today. Kind of a win but I don't need more shoes.

I also got a Mixboxer C4-12 charger. After the backup charger discussion I couldn't allow myself to go on with only one in the house.

Have full carts at IMR batteries and 3aVape but I haven't pulled the trigger.

Thanks! I bookmarked this post. Funny how you got yours already and I don't even have a shipping notification yet.

My second hellbeast rba came in yesterday, sitting on the shelf.

On the Armor Prime, the LEDs go to solid yellow at 3.6v. That's a pretty reasonable point to swap batteries on a mech (at least for me), as the vape quality starts to noticeably decrease past that point).

Try to grab 1 extra hour of sleep,,, I am fascinated at how fast weight drops from more sleep!

    I wish I could. I am a chronic insomniac. A good night I manage 4 hours.
Whew, that can be tough. I go through periods like that. It makes it hard for me to function.

What with all the stress in our lives right now, all I want to do is sleep. I know it is a function of coping so I try to keep a schedule. Caregiving doesn’t always like to follow a schedule lol.

That’s why, as unfair as it is, the vaping situation has given me an opportunity to be distracted and has reintroduced me to my favorite hobby. It’s a relief and gives me something to look forward to.

I have gotten 4-6 hours a night since 1995,,, 12 hours twice a year,,,. I have taken all kinds of herbs etc. Nothing really helped,,, until I tried night time cold medicine,,, holy crap 8-9 hours!

Our bodies use the 8 hours of sleep for 'chores',,, but people who work out/ actually burn calories every day need more time for repairs,,, repairs cost energy ( fat/calories)

I'm carnivore 99%of the time losing 2-3 pounds a day is quite common for me
