So I was in the grocery store last night and they had cigarettes behind the counter. I was seeing $68 to $72 per carton. I’m sure there were cheaper prices (?) but that’s what I saw.

WTH?

I did a very conservative estimate based on one carton per week and the money I spent on vaping for a LIFETIME would last one year if I was still smoking. And for me smoking 2 packs a day it would be under a year.

Eye opening. I haven’t priced cigarettes in over 7 years.

How much do they cost in your neck of the woods?

That's why vapers need to stock up on hardware and nic base because come next year and beyond, vapers are going to be price-gouged in the same exact way.

That's about what they cost in my area, too. But you can get them for maybe a buck cheaper per pack if you buy the "B brands".

I was so sick of smoking, and so sick of trying to quit smoking over and over, I would go into a store and ask them for their cheapest cigarettes. It seemed to always be Fortuna. I was not brand specific my last years of smoking. That’s what I smoked until I finally started vaping. Nasty little things. If I remember correctly a carton ran around $35. They have gone WAY up since I smoked it seems. I couldn’t afford to smoke at today’s prices!

I smoked those off brands for many years and also rolled my own. At that time RYO tobacco was not taxed as high as it was in a different tax class than prefabricated cigarettes. I think that changed, though. But man was it cheap to RYO! It was so nice to have money in my pockets all the time lol

I'll never go back to smoking. I can't take the smell anymore. I can smell it a mile away. For some reason it aggravates me to no end.

When I quit smoking I was down to smoking rollies so I haven't priced cigs in forever. But I do know from a big sign at my local convenience store that you can get their brand for $4.99 a pack but for something like Marlboro's I have no clue, I am guessing $8.

My office administrator smokes and she leaves a trail of stank all throughout the hallways. Ugh. I just about can’t take it. Wreaks. Makes me gag. I will never smoke again either. Can’t believe I smelled like that for 30 years.

I know I told this story before somewhere, but at one point, for about 2 years, I was buying my cigarettes online from an Indian place in NY. It was cheaper than the off-brands at the store.

Well, about a year after I stopped doing that, my state mafia required all these companies to furnish sales records of all sales shipped to my state.

I got an itemized bill from my state mafia department telling me I owed them over $2,000 in taxes and penalties. I had to pay it.

The savings wasn't really worth it in the end.

I could never deal with that. I would be ...... all day at work. Like I said, it aggravates me. It triggers something in me that makes me kinda angry. I can't explain the feeling or why it happens.

The only time cigarette smoke ever bothered me like that when I was a smoker was when someone would smoke around me when I was eating a meal. I had to be smoke free when I ate a meal or it would anger me so badly. I had to tell a few roommates off a few times about it.

It's soooooooo suffocating.

I used to have a fork in one hand and a lit cigarette in the other. We definitely couldn't eat together.

I haven’t bought in a little over a year but in NE Texas they were 7.50-ish a pack then. My brand.

I don't have it listed, I bought an extra one, but would part with it :) I will look up price and PM you.
I think one of the ones I ordered was from that same sale. I received the KIT with a tank for $21+shipping. Wasn’t expecting the tank. I was pleased. :)

Looking for a deal on quality, dual-battery DNA/DNA75 or Yihi mod for TC vaping. Looking for reliable, durable, and hopefully under $75. Picked up a Pioneer4You IPV Eclipse for a song (thanks to this thread) but got the last and need another. Found a HCigar VT75C and IPV Trantor on sale (both had awful reviews). Thanks
