I put that kind of thinking in the same category with the thoughts that ATF will be coming to our houses and confiscating our vapes- extremely unlikely.
Intellectually I know this. Emotionally....wouldn't put it past them idjits.

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
All the talk about potentially putting something in it to make it unvapeable.... kind of spooked me.

I never thought the day would come that I would be stocking up. Talk about naive
'Neat' (unflavored) isn't bad tasting at all.. what's confusing me,,, is i saw your 6mg nic strength,, but i never saw your daily consumption data.....without that you can not figure out what you need to last you your anticipated 15 years.. the only thing that can be figured is what it takes to make your 70/30 based on your nic stash in pg.

and should 'flavors' be included in your calc's??? most are PG,, so that is fluid in this case.

are you seriously considering buying all of your pg/vg now?

People... take a deep breath. I know this is a prepping thread, but take another breath. VG and PG is not going away anytime soon. They are used for so much more than vaping. Wire, cotton and favorings will remain available. I am all for stocking up on nicotine, mods and tanks, but a lifetime supply of VG is a bit much.
I have a gallon of VG and a liter of PG. I feel pretty secure on that stash. I would prefer fresh for the future.

OK, let's try this again. In order to use all of your 2.5l of 100mg base to make 6mg unflavored that's 70pg/30vg, you need:

12.5 liters of VG (about 3.3 gallons)
27 liters of PG. (a bit more than 7 gallons)

Now take heart. Even I don't have that much PG/VG -- although I'm close on the VG. :D

I did the 'Vapocolypse Calculator' and came up with how many years the nic I had on hand would last me. I vape approximately 6 - 8 ml a day. 70/30 PG/VG at 6mg nic.

I have on hand 2500ml of 100mg nic in PG base in my freezer.

Yes, I am seriously considering ordering all my PG and VG now.

Ok, hubby would have a heart attack if I ordered and recvd that much liquid. Damn.

Hmmmm how to work this out so it is more realistic.

My brain hurts.

Thank you, Rossum  for doing all that figuring for me.

So I need:

3 gallons of PG
1 gallon of VG
1 liter of VG

I thought since the nic was in PG.... Nevermind....I am so not a DIY person ROFL

I do have a recipe on my computer for my unflavored ratio. Just had another look at it.

That confuses me. If you're nic is already in PG and you're doing 70% VG then it seems like you would need more VG than PG.

I hate math too.

Ok, now I am wondering about VG and buying a bulk supply.

Nude nicotine sells it. My preferred ratio is 70/30 PG/VG. I have bought all my nic 100mg in PG base. I have 2500ml of 100mg nic in PG base. How much VG will I need to purchase?

Have I said I hate math before? If not..... I. Hate. Math.

what nic level do you need???? thats the important part...
if you want 70/30 pg/vg with what you have, you add 1071 ml of VG... but your nic level will be 70mg/ml

Forgot to reply to this: If it comes down to it, I actually LIKE the taste of unflavored. I can vape that all the time and it wouldn't bother me in the least. As of now, I only vape one NET all day everyday. The last month or so I have been switching out with unflavored.

My Kabuki has unflavored (to maximize the longevity of the premade coils) and my Kayfun holds my NET.

I have a few NET's, I am not as fond of, that I can add to the unflavored to give it more taste... if needed.

I understand. The 4-gallon cube isn't all that big -- it is pretty heavy though. My suggestion: Order just one (3 PG, 1 VG) as "insurance". Don't even open the bottles unless you need to. You'll run out of PG first, but I wouldn't sweat it, since at 6-8 ml a day (which is about what I go through too), it will last you something like 7 years.

Thank you, Rossum  for doing all that figuring for me.
You're very welcome. FWIW, I double-checked the last set of numbers, and I'm confident they are correct.

Oh and your 2.5 liters of nic should last you closer to 20 years than 15.

These numbers look good.

You can make 41667ml of unflavored.

My plan is for 3 years completely self sufficient. Need a gallon of PG and if I want some flavors. Also making a list of suppliers that are not vape shops to get my stuff from.

Ok, now I am even more confused.....

Palm derived or soy derived?

Who the hell knew it would be this confusing?!?!?

I can get the 3 gal of pg and 1 gal of vg in a cube and now they throw the Palm or Soy at me....

I'm not allergic to anything so that isn't an issue. What is the kind that is most likely used in their unflavored that NN supplies to customers?
I've just now read conflicting opinions about Soy vs Palm taste- and viscosty-wise. ED claims (on the bottle I have) that their soy is non-GMO, so it seems that doesn't have to enter into a decision. If you do decide to buy multiple gallons, check out some opinions (I've only read a very few so far) and then make a decision from there. You will be stuck with tons of it, so I'd research a bit. I know I plan to.

Robin... you want 70VG/30PG?? or 70PG/30VG?
if you are wanting 70PG/30VG
you will need 27.5L pg and 12.5L VG

better yet do it this way

take an empty 100 ml bottle...
add 6 ml of 100 nic PG
add 64 ml of PG
add 30 ml of VG

this should make about 415 bottles of 70PG/30VG 6 nic juice....

Whew! Ok, placing order for the cube. :)

I really do appreciate all the help that you have provided. Who knows.....someone may stumble upon this that is looking for the same help ;)
