498ml of 100mg nicotine
5,312ml of PG
2,490ml of VG
Net = 8,300ml of 6ml unflavoured 70PG 30VG

I believe they've been selling palm-derived for all these years and that the soy is a new thing. So I'ld get the palm.
You got me calculating for myself.
For the first 5 years, while I'm using my 48 mg/ml and 60 mg/ml nic, I would need 2 liters VG and 4 liters PG.
For each succeeding 5 years, while using 100 mg/ml nic, I would need 2 liters VG and 5 liters PG.
I think.

Oh my sounds wonderful ! I may have to get that too LOL! Ah I guess I really will not ever be done ha ha@bnrkwest - Wait! Wait! You may not be finished even yet! Have you tried the Baked Cinnamon Roll One Shot Flavor from OSDIY Shop? If not...Wow is it good, mixed at even 7-8%!
Since I know you have a bunch of Lucky Shot already, too, like I do...I then also tried a small amount of it that I'd made up, in with about 2 times the amount of the BCR already made...and OMG! I didn't know any eliquid could taste this wonderful! Makes me want to just drip it directly on my tongue!!![]()
USP grade VG is even sold in my local grocery stores. Sold as Glyceryn for dry skin.I honestly can't see them tainting the PG and VG supply. Too many other industries depend on it. Can you imagine if a food processor got a hold of some of the tainted stuff and it ended up on the food shelves for consumers to eat.
VG is good for 14-22 months us kept ib a cool dark place. To what? VG and PG? If that's what you're referring to, I have considered the possibility that the FDA will require something to be added to them to make them unvapeable.
eta: How long does VG/PG stay good for?
I have some 4 yrs old, seems fine but I think long term in glass would be better.I don't think anyone really knows. I've got some that's 2 years old that's been in original plastic the whole time and it seems to be fine. Still, my insurance stash gets put in glass.
BPA in Canning Lids - Seriously? - Growing A Greener World TVBe sure to use the right tops. The ones with the red inner ring leech.
exactly.I don't see how they could add anything to PG and VG as a routine procedure for ALL of it sold. There are too many other uses for it...that adding something to make it unusable for vaping might very well also affect using it for those things, too!
fyi.. the whole reason for me using the BPA free lids was to avoid that rubber/glue stuff on the metal rings from 'aging right into my nic'......another board/somewhere had a poster who was very firm about warning others to NOT use the normal canning lids.BPA in Canning Lids - Seriously? - Growing A Greener World TV
This may info help determine which Ball Jar lids are BPA-free and which are not. However, the company (from my reading so far) declines to say what they changed to. Claims of BPA-free is one of those marketing ploys that fool you into thinking what they replaced it with is safe. So far, it looks like the replacements can be even worse- eg, BPS. I've been reading the comments, and there is a recommendation for lids that may be safe: QUATTRO STAGIONI (from Bormioli Rocco) which can purchased at goodmans.net. When these posts were made, Amazon had confusing information on the lid sizes and not sure how much I trust purchasing via Amazon anymore.
At any rate, I'm going to research those Quattro lids to be sure about them and will post back. I sometimes use these jars for consumables and want to be safe as I can.
Not sure it's 99%, but for sure at least 90%.NIC is 99% of the battle.
I think I know who that is. It's not me -- I'm probably only in 3rd or 4th place. The person with the most NIC wins.![]()
Denatured alcohol was poisined usually with methanol, Namptha, etc so the company selling the alcohol could avoid tge liquor taxes.Precedent:

I doubt they would actually make it poisonous, nor is it necessary to do that. At some point last year, someone in Europe reported that the small bottles of VG available at local pharmacy started to get a bitterant added to them to make the VG essentially unvapable.
I suppose some might regard it as paranoia. Personally, I look at it all as cheap insurance. For what I used to spend on cigs every 2 weeks, I've got enough PG and VG to make juice for myself for the next 15 years.
4l for my wife and I. We are in our mid 40's and at 5-6mg and 5ml each a day, we are set for a long time. Not sure it's 99%, but for sure at least 90%.

Agreed. stock up on items going bye bye. This is a prepping thread not a hoarding thread.People... take a deep breath. I know this is a prepping thread, but take another breath. VG and PG is not going away anytime soon. They are used for so much more than vaping. Wire, cotton and favorings will remain available. I am all for stocking up on nicotine, mods and tanks, but a lifetime supply of VG is a bit much.
I have a gallon of VG and a liter of PG. I feel pretty secure on that stash. I would prefer fresh for the future.
