I’m glad I’m stocked too. I have most everything I’ll need for life for very little money. Now I can sit back and enjoy my stuff. I still don’t understand where the vaping laws are headed, and I don’t trust the lawmakers, but now I don’t have to worry about it. Time to save money since I’ll never have to buy anything else. :thumb:

Whatever it takes to stock for the rest of your life

Uh, huh. I wish my crystal ball were clearer. I'm almost 65. Will I make it to 85? 95? How often will I drop a tank? Strip a screw? Will the buttons or the electronics on my mods give out? argh! I'm tired of thinking about it.

It's hard to figure out and to think about all the possibilities. I've heard many smart posters here say to be safe, count on a life span of 2 -3 three years per mod, and buy mods with replaceable batteries, not mods with internal batteries. It's harder to figure out how many tanks to buy, but you will want more tanks than mods. Buy all the spare parts (spare glass, o-rings, bases and so on) for your mods and tanks you can find. You are likely to find the best source of spare parts on Fast Tech.

If you don't build your own coils, now is the time to learn. It's easy, cheap and there are tons of online tutorials to show you how to do it for almost every tank there is.

Get a supply of nicotine and learn to make your own e juice. Heartland Vapes has fantastic nic and it is also the cheapest nic around. Use a vape calculator to figure out how much nic you'll need to buy. I don't have a link to a calculator, but I am sure someone will be along in a bit with one. There's a fantastic subforum here with all sorts of helpful info on making your own juice. (DIY E-Liquid)

If you like a certain tank that uses replaceable coils, buy a bunch of them. Yes, you should plan to learn to make your own coils, but what if you are ill or injured and aren't able to make your own coils? You will want to be prepared for that possibility as well.

Go back in this thread until you get to posts made on 9/11/2019 and read so you can find out about other members strategies and resources.

Ask a bunch of questions. There are loads of posters here who will be happy to help you prepare.

That's all I've got for now, but you will get tons of good advice from everyone.

Good luck to you!!

Don't get me wrong I would LOVE to be the one kicking myself for stocking up when I didn't need to...
As someone who finished stocking up several years ago, I can honestly say that I have never once regretted doing so, despite the fact that I didn't need to (at least so far). I chose the stuff I stocked up on wisely and have been vaping effectively for free ever since.

Thanks for the reply. I explained a little of my story in the final countdown thread a few days ago. It's not my first time at the rodeo. I mix my liquid, unflavored + menthol. I make my coils, but I need to change them so in frequently I'm in danger of not remembering exactly how to between times. I've got some stuff stashed away and some orders on the way.

I'm just worrying too much right now.

The black Brunhilde mtl and latest ccells haven't shown yet.
I was afraid of that. I ordered some NRG coils 10-days ago. I did get a prompt order confirmation. What with CNY involved to boot, I'm glad it wasn't urgent, LOL.

Got some vape mail today but it was actually a little sad. It was nice to get some new things but these are my last orders. Not saying I won't ever buy anything again but if more it probably wouldn't be for me and it would probably be really cheap.

My two Tarot Nanos and 5 bottles of juice from MVS are what came in. These were my last outstanding orders. My vape cabinet is filled up nicely with all kinds of goodies.

I'm not there yet, but closing in. The only thing I'm lacking with regard to a lifetime supply is nicotine, and I'll fix that over the next two months.
Before my recent return to ECF, I'd coasted on my stack for a few years with little expense. It's a peaceful thing to not worry about buying 'stuff'.
In the past month, I've gone on a spending spree which is near completion, save the nicotine. Then, sorry to say, I'll fade away from ECF again. I'll HAVE too!!! This place is a bad influence for people who want to tighten their belts on vaping expenditures.

Honestly I don't think we are even close to out of the woods yet. Things that could destroy vaping are many and rays of hope few. Taxes, state level regulation/bans, PMTA (even with that Azar thing is still clear as mud). An election this year could change everything for the better OR for the worse. No way to know. The Antz on a crusade now have fuel with the illnesses and people blindly accept what they are told in vast numbers.

Being prepared is the only real pathway unless you just plan to quit.

Agree on all points. The other thing I have thought of is perhaps all these bans will come to an end. Maybe in 5 years, 10 years, who knows. Am I stocked enough for the rest of my life? Not sure. I'll let you know when I get there.

Talk about wierd. Been anxiously waiting for my Brunhilde MTL and Mato RDTA to turn up. From Germany to Chicago customs...sat in Chicago for 2 days. Next tracking event I have shows it landed in Anchorage, Alaska!! Now I'm in Montana......someone please 'splain this to me!? It left Anchorage last night.....for destinations unknown I guess, probably needs to go to Texas before it makes it back up north!

Just curious, did anyone's orders from e-juice steals ship yet? (for those of you who ordered from them).
My order from the 20th hasn't while my order from the 22nd at least has a printed shipping label. Both orders were set to ship what they have in stock and cancel the rest.

A friend recently asked me, now that you have everything vape you’ll ever need, what are you going to spend your money on?

    Good question!

I can’t think of any other hobbies that I really need much for. I guess I’ll have to be boring and save money like a grownup.
