My daughter and I went to sams club today. Not for TP because I knew there wouldn’t be any. Just for some vitamins and coffee. I thought that they might have paper towels and I’d grab some since we were getting low but nope. Evidently those must be the second choice behind Tp. Looks like the plumbers are going to be busy this year if people are flushing paper towels.
And lots of FUD.

I received the swag 2 from 8vape today. Never tried one before. It’s tiny. What I didn’t think about was that many of my tanks don’t fit on it. I at least have the nrg se that came with it.

I don't think the fraction is anywhere near that high. We know the number of people who've died, but we really don't know how many people have actually gotten infected, which in all likelihood is far larger than the number of "confirmed cases" that makes up the denominator of the fraction.

Actually it's >1%. This is getting ridiculously out of hand.

I guess it's important to use consistent methods when comparing, but this is what The Lancet does to estimate. they come up with 5-7%, but I don't know the methods used for previous outbreaks, so it's hard to know how it really compares.

More FUD using BS numbers. At this point there is still no way to have accurate numbers of infected people. They have already determined they don't know how many people have possibly been infected and didn't report because they got over it quickly. If this wasn't an election year it wouldn't be so blown out of proportion to begin with. It's flu season. People get sick.

Numerous other countries and the WHO wouldn't be shouting from the rooftops if it weren't a US election year???? Sorry, but I am not buying that. Lol

And they aren't shouting from the rooftops. Yes this is serious but the insanity is being exaggerated. It isn't the first time and, unfortunately, won't be the last.

I now have to go to the dingy old gas station a block a way to take a :censored: because at least they have 500-grit sand paper toilet paper I can use.

I wish you toilet paper hoarders would return some of your TP so the rest of us can have a chance at some luxury for once.

Uh, all the rest of your tanks are bigger than 25mm?

I have all the vaping stuff I need, not all the stuff I want. I'm sure that will never change.

I've done the food shopping thing. I'm where I want to be.

I don't drink or smoke or do recreational drugs or watch sports on TV (or any TV) or eat restaurant food. For years I occaisionally day dreamed about what it might be like to live in a world where everybody else was the same. Looks like soon I get to find out.

I tried a zenith and a Zeus and neither will fit. I thought I ordered the swag 2 but pulled the box back out and is not a 2. I’ll go back and look at my order . I must have been mistaken.

It should take any 22mm or smaller tank, although bubble glass may not work, but hit the battery cap.

Don't have any model swag, but it's lineage is clearly the Pico 75, and all my (straight sided) 22mm tanks work fine on those.

The cdc is saying 2-3%. The numbers show 3-4%... But even if those numbers are off because of lack of testing, when it comes to the average flu we do not test everyone and the death rate for that is only 0.1%... so in comparison even the greater than 1% that you personally came up with is more than 10x worse.

Yes they are saying that it is 1% and yes it's 10x what the regular flu is. That's still no excuse for all the panic and FUD that is going on. The lame stream media and the demonrats are purposely using this to frighten and panic people. Never let a good crisis go to waste and all. It would be nice if the demonrats would do just the opposite of what they've been doing for the last three years and do their job. Maybe propose some reasonable solutions to a problem and help the people of the US for a change.

The numbers are what they are. If the US gets its act together and actually does a lot of tests, great, then US numbers will change, hopefully go down in terms of mortality rate, but for now all we have are the handful of public numbers for multiple countries.
I work under the assumption that I & everyone has a positive test result... Dont see the reason to spend $1000-$3000 for a test to confirm it when there isn't much in the cure department. That $$ better spent later down the road.
