I STILL need to buy a mini freezer for my 7 liters of nic. I have no room left in my freezer. I guess I missed the July 4th holiday.

doesn’t mass have a tax free day in August at some point. Needs to be on the cheaper side because I have zero dollars coming in without a roomy. And they have to deliver because I’m not well enough to attempt to carry it down the stairs especially since I can only do one step at a time while holding onto a railing lol! My I’ve gotten old in such a short time.

so if anyone sees a mini freezer for sale please let me know. I’m in the Boston area. I was told top lids held more because of some reason lol!!
I am not sure what your price range is, but this freezer seems to get good reviews and would be free delivery.

Thankfully - Don't have to worry about FT orders/deliveries . . . Personally, I have never ordered anything they offer for sale directly . . . The items just appear at my door . . . ;)

Strange how that happens, isn't it? :p :D I get packages sometimes, too, that contain vaping things and other "goodies" that I've never ordered. They just appear at my door, too.

FYI: Check out Walmart, before all the major Big Box Stores & Appliance stores . . . Actually got a 1.1 cubic Freezer at Walmart (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Arctic-King-1-1-cu-ft-Upright-Freezer-AUFM011AEW-White/248677244) . . . After an ECF "Friend" suggested it . . . Was watching it for quite some time and had "Honey" watch also to let me know when he price went down (I refuse to purchase anything at price, since I'm on a limitd budget . . . ) . . . Well - After a month or so, finally dropped from $129.00 TO $99.00 during a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale . . . After purchasing and picking up the Freezer in the store on 12/05 saw a 10% OFF promotion at the Customer Service counter . . . Called Walmart and they made the adjustment and returned the $9.90 . . . SO - Ya' never know what might happen if you take your time to "LOOK" and wait for the right price . . . :matrix: . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Wow. I wish that would happen to me!

AH - It could, it all depends on what and which "Spiritual" guide you have watching out for "YOU", especially to point Ya' in the right direction and not let Ya' get into trouble on this journey into the "World of Vaping" either . . .

Some are even considered a -

I broke down and ordered a few batteries. So many of mine are older and given I now have mods that use the 20700s I decided a backup pair of 20700 and a backup pair of 18650s were a good plan.

Was it a need? No not right now but it seemed a prudent choice to make given the age of many of my batteries.
If they are backups and you won't be using them for a while, put them in the fridge. I haven't started a thread on battery aging yet, but will soon, because as of a few days ago, I have test data that shows battery aging does slow down if they are kept at cooler temperatures.

Make sure they're at a reasonable storage voltage and not fully charged too. 3.6V should be good. Lastly, do let them come back to room temperature for 24 hours before charging them and putting them in service.

That is the one I am probably going to end up getting, but @Fidola13 was needing to store 7 liters. I don't know if you can squeeze that many liters into a 1.1 cu ft freezer. If you can, awesome.

Well - So far have 4 litters of 100 nic 50/50 mix in 15 8oz bottles (8 bottles sit in a plastic shoe box & 7 packed in front of that box) all labeled, doubled bubble wrapped, and taped . . . Still have some more space left, say for maybe 8-12 bottles on the bottom shelf (hoping maybe another 2 Litters once they are decanted) . . . Just Sayin' . . .

YEP - Since the 60's kept batteries (C, D, AA, AAA) in the refrigerator's crisper (NOT FREEZER - they will drain, similar to a car battery during a winter strom) . . . IMHO - They always stay fresh and last a lot longer (matter of fact, years) . . . Although - Can't wait for your report/review/take, especially given your expertise in things like this . . .

Well, damn. I would not have guessed that it had enough room for quite all of that. That is good to know. I just picked it because it is small enough to fit in my bedroom comfortably (pretty much the only place I have spare room for a freezer). Very useful information.

Does your PM know what you're going to store in your new freezer?
he said that he was ok with the fact that the stimulus mostly boosted liquor store sales, as long as they are local stores

i'm not sure he would feel the same about my freezer stocks

Knowing me, you'd think I probably have data on freezer storage too, right? ;)

Our Li-ion batteries aren't lead-acid car batteries, or non-rechargeable alkaline batteries.

All the data sheets I've seen for Li-ion batteries allow for storage a temperatures at least as cold as you can get in a home freezer, so of course I tried that as well. It doesn't appear to harm them at all. In fact, my preliminary numbers (after just one year) show that freezer temperatures might be even better than fridge, but the difference is less than the difference between fridge and room temperature.

So for the time being, I'm recommending fridge rather than freezer. That may change after I test these same cells again in another year, and test a different batch of cells that I'm adding to the test samples.

Now That's Funny . . . Mine is actually hidden away in a corner inside "My" Bedroom closet (Don't ask) and sits on a parsons table . . .

Nic pimp!

(Jus sayin, way you vape, ha.)

Good luck. ;)

YEP - At 3 1/2 - 5 ml every couple a days - gotta make sure I am covered . . . Hey at my age, just hope it last me and I have enough to last me that long too . . . Just Sayin' . . .

AND - BTW: Look who is talking, remember I've seen your "Stash" of e-liquid a couple of years ago and I am sure you've gotten more since then too . . . :img:

Hey whatever works. I am just going to set it on my bedroom floor. I'll probably want to get a mat or trey of some kind to set it on. I would imagine a freezer should not be sitting directly on carpet.

Nope, especially given if yours is anything like mine you are going to have to defrost it every so often . . . Also, Depending or not if your electricity goes out for weeks at a time you may want to keep a "tray" under the unit too . . . The mini-freezer I have sits atop a heavy piece of cardboard (actually part of the box it came in) that sits in a 3" high tray (just fits under the door), a piece of 1/4 inch plywood cut an inch larger then the mini freezer itself and then on top of the parsons table - which also has a tray under that just in case . . . Don't want any water leaking into my downstairs neighbors closet . . . Now - That would cause huge problem in more ways then one . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I'm sorting out my vape stock, grouping up scattered boxes and counting stuff. I am now sure I have an insane number of dropin coils. Aspire BVC, Vaporesso Ccell, Kanger Subtank and Baby Beast style coils to last a few lifetimes. Most were very inexpensive opportunities and I wanted to have a choice of options going forward, but holy crap I need an intervention! I won't even touch the issue of mods and toppers.

I'll have plenty to help out when some desperate vapers wake up and realize they're short. Except for nic. Only a smoking friend and a couple neighbors I'll help out there.

Good thing I didn't stop to count very often while the deals were flying or I might have slowed down lol.
