You got it. Far more expensive. Cigarettes are around $13 a pack here in Chicago. Right there is their end game. They want to reach in to your wallets and take every dime they can. For what? We all know vaping is much safer.

By the looks of it 5 to 10 flavors per vendor max, unless you can find a way to hack it, DIY your own, and refill. If closed becomes the standard their will not be any premade juice market.

You are going to be told how to vape, with what limited gear is available, at what wattage. Maybe somebody will come up with a solution, but I think it will be more like the EU where they tell you how much nicotine you can consume in each device. What is the reg in EU now, 2ml devices? They are trying to kill nicotine consumption.

I'm not disagreeing with some of what has been said, but if closed systems become the standard, you all had better have stocked up b/c obtaining anything open you need for your current inventory except through the black market will be impossible. Oh I know, I've heard it before, some of you know so-and-so and he can make you a widget. Well, most of us don't know anyone capable even on ECF.

I'm at least 2/3 of the way to being self sufficient for 15 to 20yrs. I'll be buying ALL different kinds of supplies until all the supplies are cut off. Then I will try to buy open systems that are released outside the US. I'm in for the long haul.

In my signature is a link to where I am at approximately in stocking up. I think we do have abt two years IF companies decide to stick it out even though they may not file a PMTA. Not sure who has filed a PMTA so don't know what the market will look like for any systems, closed or open.

I have abt 8000ml of 100mg/ml Nude Nicotine Armor v1/v2, a dozen devices, and I'm still buying. Just taking a 30 day break to pay down credit cards. By mid Sept, I'll be back to buying goods. I can see spending another $1000.

Back on topic, anyone buying anything today? Not me but I did get the Kraken set up with a single coil (after 4 attempts with pre-wired coils, don't laugh). It sure is a pretty thing and so much easier than the kayfuns.

What has nothing to do with reg's that your not seeing is if your state taxes juice @ about the same price per ml as the manufacture is selling it, and then sends the message to other states, with that affect, would the wanting to quit smoker be so concerned about an open device that blows through 10 mls a day ?
As a hobbyist I'm sure you have a whole different perspective but Nicotine delivery systems without smoke are not going anywhere, I seriously doubt (closed) pods are the only devices that could be accepted iCare - iSmoka/Eleaf electronic cigarette what they do about the millions of devices / DIY supply's that have already sold before 2018 / 19 is a whole nother can of worms .........
Talk with your city and state reps about how they plan on addressing this and how you and 2,500 of your friends are a single issue voter this year ............

My FT package made its way to me today. 16 days really isn't bad for a tiny package coming from the other side of our world. Yay!!!! The o-rings I ordered are perfect for my fav. toppers and I have some different pre-coiled replacement coils to play with. I'm happy

Some of the closed systems that are hitting the market right now aren't half bad (some are even pretty darned good) and not even close to what was initially available when the FDA started making noises.

I'll also add that if there had been a decent closed system when I started vaping, I'd most likely still be using it. Sure, the open systems are nice, but I'm getting to the point to where I'm tired of rebuilding, tired of making my own e-liquid, and tired of cleaning up leaks and drips. Not to mention the hassles of ordering the stuff now.

I, like countless others, want simple and easy. Some of the newer pod type systems are providing exactly that.

A "pod" is a catchy name for the substitute being forced upon us. It reminds one of an Ipod, a laundry detergent pod, anything but an ecig or vaporizer.
