ugg, that is a great deal then I remembered the discussion about vapenw in the abe verification thread:

    taC3zLt.png

Funny I was just checking those site security tests out last night and saw the same. CC are still fine after last order with them, can't remember if I used PayPal or not. I want to try this Gemini so bad too, wish mine wasn't DOA. Saw you have one.

Most of the tanks I currently have in rotation are top fill. As a result my tanks rarely get separated from the mod they are mounted on.

Granted, some top/side fill solutions work better than others. I invested in multiple 'Top Tank Minis' only to find that the V0 RTA (with the tiny slits for juice channels) has any hope of not leaking after a refill. The V1 and V2 Kanger RBA leak gobs. There is still always the option to bottom fill these tanks.

I've never had the Kayfun's and their clones leak after filling. I think the JFC on these are likely the most effective in the industry.

I've had the best luck with the OBS Cirus and Lemo2 side fill's. Both can benefit from inverting the tank right after filling to reset the pressure in the tank.

I have a set of TFV4's with the single RBA that sometimes leak sometimes not. With no JFC these tanks have to be inverted and let the extra juice run out the drip tip.

Personally I think the JFC on the Griffin's don't have tight enough tolerance to be effective. The juice will run out the air holes with the JFC closed on mine. (fill quick, cap, invert, open JFC, set right side up seems to help)

I use max VG juice but I've yet to have a Kanger RBA leak. And I've actually put next to no cotton in it. Griffin I lose a drop or two out of the airflow holes when filling, but it vapes so good it's worth the lost drops.

Yes they are. I have 4 of them. I use one when I try a new flavor. The other 3 are in my may need someday box. I love how easy they are to build on and rewick when necessary. I guess you are supposed to wind the legs of the coil around the screw but I don't. I just insert them into the holes and tighten the screws down. Seems to work just fine this way for me.

    :(
Had a very sobering thought this morning. I was coiling and re-wicking my Kayfun and I began wondering how long I would be content to "mess" with all that. Since I am preparing for the long haul that's something I need to consider.

Somedays I'm not sure I will have the patience. I better rethink stocking up on some more pre-built coils for my Kanger Subtank Minis. I was planning to just use the RBA deck but wasn't planning for when the eyes get weaker and the hands more feeble.
Yeah, that is a sobering thought. I hated spending money on coils even before I started worrying about the Deeming so everything I've got has to have coils made. I'm 65, eyes are getting dodgy and knuckles are starting to ache.

Thought I was finished stocking up. Now I have to start getting more new stuff again. :(

Or maybe another solution would be to wrap a lifetime supply of coils. Still have to install them in the tanks but wrapping is probably the hardest part eye and hand-wise. How many PT, Lemo and Kayfun coils will I need for the rest of my life? Time to get out the calculator. Might not be all that many, they can be rewicked for quite a long time.

Now I'm thinking about this stuff I see another problem looming. Getting Kayfun tanks apart is giving me fits already, especially getting the first tank section off the base. There isn't much to get hold of and the threads are really grippy. Maybe I need to build a jig to help with that.

Maybe we need a thread for ideas on age-proofing our vaping gear.

I was having trouble with that same connection which is what got me thinking along this line. I cut my hand trying to get the darn thing apart.

Didn't want to be a gloomy Gus but I was really concerned. I've just had a crazy week I think.

I believe they have been notified. I was part of that discussion and want to say that I have ordered many times from them in the past. May be a good idea if more than one or two customers voice the concerns to this company and why. They always have good deals even without coupons and have always treated me fairly when I did have one problem with a product that I had bought.
It may just be an oversight on their part and haven't yet realized that they have this problem. Hate to see them not given the benefit of the doubt before they have a chance to fix it.
    just my 2 pennies.

I like my gemini (I bought 2) but it has a few annoyances that made me put it away. It is very airy (dare I say too much airflow) and I have to usually close the top airflow and often times close the bottom some as well. Once filled with juice I couldn't turn it continuously clockwise to open/close the JFC and I was worried when turning it counter clockwise to open the JFC I might cause a leak if I turned it too far open. I felt the AFC ring should turn in the opposite directions for opening/closing like most of the other tanks I use do.

Once you know what mg/mL you like to vape at, a bigger batch of unflavored is simple to mix and store if necessary. Broken out into smaller bottles 10 mL or 30 mL is easy, then just add flavoring, shake and vape.

I'm a firm believer in the KISS principal....

I mix right in my tank mostly. Just add a few drops of flavoring and fill with my peegeeveegy mix.

Today it's two drops Lemon Sicily and two drops Whipped Cream with one drop of Lime Tahiti. Would depend on the size tank of course. :)

your post reminds me of a tip for Griffin tanks.. when adjusting the juice hole,,if you get into the habit of always turn your tank clockwise you will have fewer juice leaking risks.. think of it as 'locking down' that ring thing..i used to twist either way,, but now i stick to clockwise.. in theory keeping that ring in place in case a thread of rayon is hanging up on it.

Well I guess when we get too decrepit there will always be Blue's or Pod Mods or whatever The Authorities deem appropriate for us. We could trade our good stuff to the local kids in exchange for lawn mowing assistance.

Yes it is a problem as we age, I have a stash of vape for my Golden Years, Carto tanks, vivi's, something easy! LOL
You know I hadn't thought about bring unable to coil. Good point both of you. I have about 5 years worth of ready-made coils which I'm thinking I should stash away and only use home-made coils while I can do it.

That's great if the tank will actually turn clockwise when filled with juice. My gemini would not unfortunately.

Maybe something like these. I have a pair for working in the yard, and they're grippy.
They have other styles that have grippy nubbins on them too.
    Yard%20Grip%20Gloves.png

There's also rubbery/non-slip drawer liner material.
ETA: Not Stihl brand, that sounded kind of confusing.
Drawer liners WalMart/Lowe's/Dollar General, stores like that.

I've cut those into smaller pieces to use for various things, they're great for opening jars, and I bet that would work for the Kayfuns too.

Thanks, you made me feel a lot better about mine being DOA and now I don't need to order two more to treat the one I have as replacement parts. Read that a Griffin base fits it, I'll just get one of those off FT or elsewhere and keep it moving onto devices.
