They sell clean medical grade syringes at a tractor, lawn mower, and farm store?

tractor-supply-store-front.jpg

Dang. Learn something new everyday. I've never went in those stores before, I live a simple life, always took the simple route and went to Lowe's and Home Depot for my outdoorsy lawn and gardening needs

You would be surprised what you can find in a Tractor Supply.

Gey food for pets, VACCINATIONS for pets. Methanol or methyl hydrate for my alcohol stoves, and much more.

TSC is one of my favorite "candy" stores. There's a TON of great stuff you can get there. Even if you're a city slicker.

Oh and what kind of syringes should I get? I know medical kind have different gauges and sizes, I'm sure it's the case with the kind ya'll are referring to use with making juice.
If you get a scale that reads to 0.01g you won't need many/any syringes. The only syringes I use are pipettes for a few of my flavors that don't come in dropper bottles. I have zero cleanup. Any pipettes get tossed and I mix directly in the 30ml - 250ml bottle for the batch I am making.

You just may have to DIY someday if nothing is approved and the flavors now are fabulous!!!

There won't be any fabulous juices once this is over unless you make them yourselves - nothing will be allowed with a flavor that might attract children.

made my eciggity purchase. 8 relux 2/3 mods, 4 22 MM drip tips, an additional aromamizer, 1 billow V2 nano, and 1 limitless RTA. less then $400. i think i am well on my way. i actually had to change my color on my relux order several times, they are sold out on all of the color except cyan/grey. so i settled for the cyan/grey, its not like i am going to find that awesome mod that cheap again. less then $40 for that wonderful piece of engineering..... well pretty soon if you can still get that mod it will cost $400 for one.

seems to me like i am not the only person hording. i think the market is going to run completely out of stock long before 8/8/2018. they might be able to legally sell it up to that date, but there might not be anything left to sell. probably good i bought them while i still can.

so far i am at $640 for nicotine and $392 in other hording. i need to be 100% done with the hording fairly soon. this can get expensive fast. what stuff do i not need to hord?

it also felt good ordering from a company that put $5,000 into the right to vape campaign. i think all companies should do that. this is their survival, if they have and chance at all at surviving. at this point it doesnt look great. the government likes to do what it wants even if its illogical or corrupt.

I think I am done now. I may add another litre or two of nic just before it is heavily taxed in Canada, but I have likely a year or more before that happens.

Flavors and PG/VG are all i need moving forward for my wife and I to comfortably vape for decades.

Good feeling to not have to worry about govt telling me how to consume my nic and taxing the hell out of vaping...

how in the heck are they going to be able to ban wire, cotton, PG, VG, bottles, syringes, droppers, and batteries? nearly all of this stuff is used elsewhere.

does kanthal wire have any uses besides vaping? japanese cotton in particular (or are we going to have to resort to cotton balls lol), PG and VG (good luck on banning that), syringes, ect ect

all of this stuff has uses outside of vaping. what the heck is wrong with these people.. who do they really think they are??? VG..... used in soap, PG used just about everywhere, lithium ion batteries..... flashlights, laptops, and power tools.

what is the shelf life on flavoring, PG, and VG. does PG and VG keep nearly forever?

i think i am least over the hill in buying the expensive stuff and most of the rest of it should be inexpensive.

how do i know how much to hord?

You have to kinda do some figuring to get a rough estimate of what and how much you will need based on your usage, and for how long you think you will need vaping equipment and accessories. Good luck.

You are going to have to look at several elements to determine that.

How old are you? How many years do you want to vape - planning on quitting someday?

What volume / strength juice do you vape - are you trying to reduce the strength? Do you vape special flavors and only those - are you flexible?

What is the expected life span of the devices you own - do you rotate or used exclusively?

Are you willing to vape with what will be available if you run out? Would you just quit if you ran out - would you be able to quit?

I am sure I missed something...

AND, once it ends up taxed, you wouldn't be able to afford it if it was available.

Yep, more than a few of us have been hoarding. :)
Sounds like you're getting there.

It truly IS a good feeling. :)

That's the question we've all been asking ourselves.
The nic calculator made that easier, the hardware was more of an individual decision.
I wanted to plan for (at least) 1 atty for every year I wanted to keep vaping. I ended up with a cushion of a few more than that.
I've got 2 Reo's, 1 tube mech, and 8 or 9 ProVari tube mods. (a mix of Classic V2's, and Mini 2.5's).

I had been an *extremely* frugal vaper from the time I started in 2013 until the deeming regs were released in May...so, I had some serious catching up to do.

I think I've covered all the bases and have a few things I can PIF if needed.
The things I have for PIF are nothing special, just very basic items, but I wanted to at least have something extra.
There will be tragedies among our vaping community, and at some point, someone will need help.

Yeah, lol, I know, you guys keep telling me to DIY. But I love other's juices so much, I don't think I'll be a good enough chef to whip up juices like my favorite companies. Maybe time and practice, slowly develop skills along the way, then be good at it at some point. I'm just kind of on the fence on it right now. Supplies costs money. There's so many things vaping-wise I want still.. another wood & acrylic mod maybe from Art & Mod, cuz my Axis Vapes M17 needs a friend, and a few authentic US made RDA's I'm waiting for availability on. I know it's kind of pricey shopping for beakers, glass tubes, syringes, Nic, PG, VG, bottles, latex gloves, etc. then come to find out, I suck at juicing...

87v8e_s-200x150.gif

... that's what I'd be afraid of. Ionno, when I do @bnrkwest, I'll tell you and def ask you for your recommendations as far as supplier for nic, best recipes for noob juice makers, and what not. If only I'd know know I'd be good at it, then probably.

I'm probably late to this party, but I'll toss my :2c: into the ring....

You don't have to be a chef to mix. I do mine as simply as possible. I find a recipe (and thanks to all who have taken the time to develop these mixes, here and all over the interwebs) I work in ml because drop sizes aren't consistent. I'm not even 100% precise - I get "close" to the RECOMMENDED measurements, add nic and then top off the bottle with unflavored base (in my case 100 VG.)

It takes a little bit of investment to get started - bottles (or clean and reuse the bottles you've already purchased), measuring devices (I use graduated pipettes) flavors, nic base and PG/VG. However, small bottles of flavoring can be had for a buck or two - just check recipes for what to get. Start with a couple of recipes to get your feet wet. For $50, you could have enough material to make a handful of flavors. I quit buying juice about 2 years ago. Love that I can make what I want, when I want. I'm more apt to try things I would fear buying because if it sux that badly, I'm not out $10 on one bottle (maybe only $1-2 for the supplies "wasted")

I absolutely get that some folks don't want the "hassle". It's therapeutic to me. I'm fortunate that I have plenty of working space and no little ones running around that could get into the nic. Dog and cat don't know how/care to open the drawer where that stuff is stored.

Right. That's why Semiretired listed those things in answer to your question "what do I not need to hoard".
