Had too many drinks with my dad last night and dropped my Alien/Big Baby Beast. Glass smashed everywhere.

Looked in my vape stockpile and of course I had replacements! Almost 20. First glass tank I have broken I over a year, but I am thankful that I bought replacement parts for all of my tanks. fasttech is stupid cheap for stuff like tanks too.

have never used or held a REO Beck, but the loyal following interests me, what's the appeal? Ease of use? Quality?, Simplicity?, AOTA?

    (disclaimer - I don't own a 'REO')

The "bottom feed" or "Squonker" setup can offer a few advantages over other types of vaping gear
    • the 'topper' is essentially a RDA that you don't have to drip
    • so the flavor advantages of a dripper without the dripping
    • forget all the wicking issues with RTA's, simply squeeze for more juice
    • forget all the pressure/vaccume issues with tanks
    • in a perfect world the only exposed juice is in the wick, no issues of laying the mod on its side or upside down (pocket friendly)
    • the tank is replaced by a 'bottle' which likely has way more juice than your battery will vaporize
    • the purely mechanical setups are silly simple with no electronics to fail
Everyone ought to have a few 'squonkers' in their stash.

^^^^^. Exactly. @GeorgeS, I definitely think you should own a REO. ;) I'm like @Rossum in that I own "several" (read: "many, many") REOs and they're all I've used since I discovered them.

I have a Reo LP, a Pico and two Coppervapes and I just can't seem to get into squonking. Maybe I just need to spend more time with them.

Maybe I'm just weird and prefer a tank to a RDA type vape. I reach for a regulated Smok mod with a TFV8 or a tube mech with a Subtank much more often than a BF device.

Next week I'll have $150 saved up for stocking. Gonna grab two liters of nic from MFS and $50-75 worth of flavors. That would give me enough nic to last my lifetime, and enough flavoring to get me through the next nine months. I figure even if my wife is pregnant, bottles and mixing supplies can still be purchased as I need them.

And if I work on the budget some more, I should still be able to put some cash back each week to get new mods and toppers every couple months.

But I've decided that if it's too costly to try and stockpile and pay doctors bills, I'm gonna try to ween myself off the nic and then hopefully vaping altogether.

I'm a man, and I can change, if I have to, I guess.

Stash back a dollar a day for the vaping fund. Every 3 months that's more than $90 vaping money to blow!
