Just picked up a couple mods that were on sale at DFWvapor. I'm starting to notice that a lot of sites I frequent are starting to get slim pickings so purchased another istick 60w (19.99) and a CF mod without battery (4.99) so I'm done with mods now. Just want to pick up a couple more Toptank mini's and I'll be (ahem) done.

Just talked to the owner of RockyMountainVapor on the phone, in relation to another thread and a mod someone wanted. He told me his 30% off coupon code that's been running since Thanksgiving would be lower to probably 20% later this week.

So, if anyone wants a Pico for $21 after 30% off, or Eleaf 40W TC for $24.50 after 30% off, or anything else they've got a really good deal on with the code turkey...you might want to go to get it in the next few days! FREE S/H kicks in at only $14, too!
he told me that a month ago. I love that 30% off

Just in case you might like these.......options are always helpful

Yea, I wondered about those before when I've found them on FT. But since I didn't know exactly what size the fill hole screw took...until I looked at that blog, I hadn't ordered them. I will add them to my cart now though. Thanks for posting the link, so I didn't have to go back in History and find them.

McMaster-Carr wants $6.05 for 100 of theirs (way more than I'll need, but was OK price). But...they want to ship them by Ground at $6+ S/H! Not going to happen!

Yeah, I have ordered from McMaster before so I know the shipping is steep. Good quality stuff tho.

Exactly. Every time good folks at ECF such as @Sugar_and_Spice post links to rings/screws/glass that I need to stock, I add them to the cart. Hence why I tend to forget what goes with what. I may have 3-4 different rings sitting in the cart for weeks until I pull the trigger!

I think I have the black version of this ring, but at $0.80 for 10, I will order 20 and make sure I write "KFL+ BF Screw" on the bags.

My stockpile plan is austere but adequate (see below) and I've been going slow just in case I learn something and that's happened on a couple of fronts in the last few weeks. Stealth has always mattered to me. Recently I find that my preferred hardware, an SV rda clone and Pico, in all black, are my stealth solution so I had to get some of each and that pushes me a few items past the stocking budget for hardware. (I'm not above increasing my stock numbers if government interference appears more likely as 8/18 approaches.) I started a brother of mine vaping 2 years ago and can't persuade him to stockpile as I'd like. I'll share with him no matter what so I have to provide a few extra things on account of him. I did persuade him to pay for his share of nic which is in my storage.

A few days ago I put Arctic Fox firmware on a Pico and a VTC mini. I'm keeping the stetings so the mods fire the same as before but i'm learning about how I vape from the puffs timer and displays of peak watts and temp for each puff. This might influence my choice of hardware going forward but hasn't yet.

I've done some searching about the durability of nicotine. It's tough enough that agricultural tobacco field waste can be an environmental problem. I know from personal experience and reports by others that nic can survive for decades in stored tobacco leaf. It may be that oxidation and loss of potency are somewhat separate issues. There may be a very small decline in potency that home freezing can't stop so may be preservation for indefinite time is not realistic. However it may turn out that after 20 + years the potency has declined, let's say 20%, and there is only the need to use a higher amount. I'm still looking into this. The long term storage advice seems to be based on best practice not necessarily reflecting all the chemistry issues.
Please keep us updated. Also any news on any problems with pico. It is my pick of battery's too.

Whew... My two liters of nic all broken down into amber glass Boston rounds with polycone caps and cozy in the freezer. I feel so much better. I'll feel a whole lot better when it turns into 6 liters, but at least I know I have a couple years covered. And tomorrow should be a stellar vapemail day, 3 orders expected - another Pico, flavors and "free" juice.

Good deal! That was no small task. I ordered another Pico today....I can say the "turkey" code at Rockymountainvapors still works

FT stocks many sizes of o-rings in 1 mm diameter increments. I wish they would sell a size run in an organizer box with labels for the sizes. most of these would be used on rda's. (It seems like people using old style rda's now are far and few between.) Some of the thicker ones might be for tanks. Here is a link which seems to gather them all together.

Doesn't it feel great to not only have it in hand but have it stored correctly?

It feels awesome!

I would love to order another Pico but I've already spent all my play money this week. If that code is still good next Friday I will order another one.

Crossposting because its important...

OK, Evolv finally published this data publicly now about the spike of formaldehyde and Acetaldehyde spiking a sky rocket very quickly, double what is found in a cigarette, starting around 470F-480F.

Temperature Control is IMPORTANT folks!

Start about 6 minutes in:

Made 7 120ml bottles of liquid yesterday. Five were at 6mg and I think I can expect them to last me about a year (I usually only vape 6mg juice MtL in the morning/evening) and I didn't even put a dent in my first 250ml nic bottle. So I'm pretty confident my 3 L is plenty for me

I'm a man, and I can change, if I have to, I guess.

Use temp control and dont go above 450Fish if you want to minimize exposure.

Turns out VG is worse than PG with regards to formaldehyde:

Significant amounts of toxic carbonyl compounds can be created when common e-liquid solvents—i.e., PG, GL, or their mixture—are heated at high temperature, either intentionally by users to get more aerosol or accidently due to overheating. GL produced much more formaldehyde than PG under our testing conditions

I picked up a couple, small (maybe 6" x 8"), multi-divided, plastic, organizer boxes at Dollar Tree this week. They're in the little tools & hardware aisle there. I'm using them to stash various screws, o-rings, insulators, adapters, etc. There's plenty of room on the lid to affix a small label, too, over each section so you'll know what's in it. So far they're working great to help me get better organized with bits and pieces I've got stashed!

EDIT: They have another one, too, that's got smaller sections in it, in the artsy craftsy aisle, too.

I need to get a couple of these for spare parts, and a couple drawer systems for my back-up tanks and mods. Plus I like to keep literally EVERY box and right now they're sitting on top of a wall shelf taking up space, lol.
