I stopped smoking with cartos and 510 batteries, and thought some time ago about stocking them up as I have a few tanks. I ended up using a carto last week and it was a not very good smoktech one, which reminded me about how hit or miss they became for a while. Nothing against them, but I ended up passing on cartos and am glad I accumulated clearance Vision Vivi Nova heads. I am definitely an old school low wattage vaper, but I don't want to go back all the way, just to 2013 or so. 
No more vape mail coming for me except one last order from FT when I see some of my items ready to ship. Feeling a bit down as a result I ordered a Kayfun V5 today from eBay. Have to ween myself off of not having vape mail.
I remember when carto tanks were latest greatest thing! LOL I actually liked them better than the early leaky clearos that came out. lol,, thanks,, i am guessing the wick and coil were 1 back then. i am happy i didn't have to go through so many revisions to vaping equipment. but i suppose you guys were quite enjoying all of the new inventive ways developers came up with.
which reminds me,, i haven't seen much in the past few weeks that would be considered 'new'... anyone else? i thought for sure china would flood us with several designs/new ways/new tanks before 8/8.. hasnt really happened....its like they are saying we are at a plateau or something.

Same here. I have a bunch of cartos laying around and all this tank talk, and tool filling talk made me think I needed to go get some tanks. Then I remembered.....I never got on well with carto tanks, gave away all the ones I had, so why on Earth would I go buy anymore?
I'll plunk the cartos on my REOs if I run out of every other atomizer option available to plunk down on them. Or if I get too feeble to handle coil making. That's my plan. But you guys are finding some stunning deals, I'll give you that!
I am waiting on some cartos from MV, then that's it until the end of this month when I get the CC paid off. Then I'll order 1 more 1000 ml bottle of nic, and some more flavors.
If anyone runs across evod/protank coils at a clearance price give me a holler. Sure would love to find them at that .99 for 5 I would also love to pick up a bunch more of the evod glass double coils heads. I bought 10 boxes of 5 of each of them from fasttech for a decent price but would jump on more at a good clearance price. I stocked up on SMOKTech ARO ll bottom coil toppers and will be perfectly content vaping with them from now on and can rebuild the coils for them but I am looking down the road to when/if I am no longer able to do so. I found these, and it is what I am talking about can take any size carto, you can build your own size it looks like and does not need a flanged bottom I don't think. I love the fill screws for easy filling. Tanks

I realize we are all different, I had those years ago and didn't like them but others rave about them. I can't even remember what I didn't like other than I think the screw on the side is ugly.
I had those, lost them all so now I just use cheap metal drip tips. Of course, I keep losing those as well.
