Maybe because my blem order included a special also. Never thought of that.Rosesense, the "blems" being only $30 didn't require the signature. The others I bought at 6x the cost with no blemishes previous to the recent sale did come with signature status.![]()
I didn't think a rotary would even be compatible with the current US phone system. It's not set up for "clicks" anymore. One thing I do have on my cell is an old fashioned ring tone like you used to get on those rotaries with the bell literally inside.
Right, but aren't these things only being asked for if identity cannot be confirmed in other manners? And I have yet to see photo ID AND last 4 of SSN, from what I can see it's one or the other.
Not saying it's not a concern, just think we're being overly concerned. I'll be damned if I'm not going to get verified for My Vapor Store, My Freedom Smokes, and Heather's Heavenly Vapes. The rest I can do without.
Does anybody know what liquor stores online use for age verification?Different vendors are using different verification software. Some of them are only asking for the photo ID/pic after they can't confirm your age by other means. Makes it all confusingFor some of them you won't even know they are verifying your age unless there is a problem. For others you have to fill out a form with your info and get that text before you can place your order. Plus other variations of being verified besides these.
Enough of my info is already out there on the internet to be found, I don't need to add more places it could be compromised. I'm sure there's always the possibility that someday I will feel the need to order from a vendor that wanted more info then I want to give. I'll cross that bridge when I come to itRight now there is no reason for me to need to do that.
When I was young, my family used to drive from Dallas to Boulder every summer to vacation there. If you drove from Denver to Boulder, you might recall the view when you finally come up over the rise. I remember it so well- I couldn't ever tell where the mountains ended and the clouds began. I thought it must be heaven. I went back when I was in my 30s, just for that view. While I was very disappointed to see Denver covered in an inverted bowl of smog, the view I mentioned did not disappoint. If I were to move to Colorado ever, it would be to Boulder.
You have got me wanting one of those phones now. I remember them well, and when phone numbers were given by their exhange, eg. EMerson 1234. I have always been a nostalgic person, but it seems to get worse the older I get.
I used to have a rotary style phone that had push buttons. Might be the closest thing to the real deal that would function with the current system.
That Aster does look nice, especially with the replaceable battery and all the usual bells and whistles at a good price point.
Oh, we have one of those but not the same color... ours is yellow....but also kept 2 of our Princess phones.....loved those lil treasures. You're old school? Shoot, you know what I have in my bedroom for sh-'s and giggles? Also because it looks so cool..
Same phone, same color. Makes me feel like I'm calling the president or batman when I use it. I have it connected Bluetooth to my cell phone, but it works like normal. I'm a techy dude, I like watching Antiques Roadshow, I appreciate old Americana pop culture, hence why I own one of these relics. I'm still trying to complete my retro vintage appliance look in my home. Next is a silver bullet fridge and toaster. Trying to find as new condition remades or new remodeled retro ones. I don't know. Now that I'm getting older, I'm appreciating older things as I mature..![]()

I've never ordered so I was wondering if any members have and if they remember if the service was like the vape shops are using now.Looking at google it appears there are a number of different age verification services that they use.
Seems they haven't been requiring signature for blems for a while.Interesting, I have ordered from Provape for 5 years and always had to sign for packages. with something that expensive, I figure they want to be sure it is delivered.

Okay, this thread has been going for a little bit over 2 months now -
Can you now answer the initial question?
Are you done stocking up???
So i guess i should be expecting to sign for mine when I get it back from Provape.Just got my Pearl White PV mini back today from a bit of adjustment by ProVape. It was a blem and bought for $30. Postlady brought to door for signature. When I got it and other blems, no signature required.![]()
