I can just see i now. 20, 30 or even 40 years from now your surviving family members are looking at your vape supplies with puzzled looks on their faces - Now what did she say to do with this stuff???

Or my great-great grand kids taking my 2013 Provari 2.5 to the 2089 Antiques Roadshow..

.. thinking they'll get rich. Who knows. Maybe vape gear (authentics, US-made) will become high dollar then. Good to ponder at.. I think so. vaping is a culture as much as it's now a movement and lifestyle.

I've built up a nice little semi precious metal nest egg for my kids. If they melt down all of my copper, brass, SS and aluminum mods, they be rich!

And if there is a worldwide rayon and/or Nichrome/Kanthal shortage, they be even richer!

I almost purchased that kit and the snakeskin batteries for $2.00 a piece. They now sell 60 and 120 ml bottles of juice and I had a couple in my cart that I was going to definitely buy (wild blue punch) and then.....I hit the x in the corner and told myself NO. I have all this stuff sitting here waiting for me to learn to use and I ordered a bunch of flavors to try to diy. I hope I made the right decision. My wallet tells me I did. But, but, but the cheap batteries and kits....it's not too late.

That showed a lot of will power to back away from that purchase !  I think you should reward yourself for being so good by buying something :D

Geez, my other CC has been hacked too! I just got a message tonight about another fraudulent charge on a different card. Holy Moley be careful everyone and check your accounts. So now both cards are frozen.
Good grief girl. If you can narrow it down to which site you think it came from, please warn us in some way. You don't have to come out and say why, just say something like I used to buy from them but now I don't. lol
so sorry this has happened to you. My card got hacked last month too. Bank also caught mine. This type of stuff is happening more and more. Either people are getting more savy about getting numbers or financial worries are even worse than we thought.

Well one has to take into account the sheer number of orders that @bnrkwest has put in, two hacked credit cards might just be average per the number of orders. :w00t::lol:

Seriously though sorry that happened to you and you got froze up. I'd be recommending everyone use Paypal if they weren't shutting off the Vape Industry. I've had pretty good luck keeping my cards safe just by sending every transaction I can through Paypal.

a few of the people have mentioned they use the prepay cards from walmart/their banks. they fill them up with $500 and do their online shopping with those.... it keeps that money separate from 'the real money'. and probably does a good job of keeping you on your vape budget :)

Darn it all. I read this too late, the sale is over. I should have treated myself to one large bottle of juice ;)

I did take advantage of the sales at Provape, BCF, and Lightning Vapes. I'm excited to try out the flavors and find something new that I love. I also bought this cute little road trip tote at the NYS Fair. I rewarded myself ahead of time. Haha

Please get yourself a prefill card for on-line shopping. That way you can never lose more than what you loaded. When I was hit before (and I did get it back) it was on a prefill card and there was only about $100 on it at the time. So even with them your money is protected, but they are still a good just in case tool...

Much tge same way i am with the Pay Pal debit card.

I put X amount of $ in my Second account, then send it up to my Pay PAL account.

Then when i buy stuff on Fasttech or eBay i pay via Pay Pal. When i get stuff on Amazon, Groceries, phone bill, etc i use my Pay PAL debit card.

Should some mathematician hack my 17 chsracter alpha numeric password at Pay Pal or my 8 number PIN; They ONLY have access to my limited funds i put in Pay Pal and maybe $1-2 left in tge Bank account linked with Pay Pal.

I also have a second Pay Pal account where i keep about $700 for emeegency.

Such as my little dog has to have an emeegency trip to the vet, or i have to take a flight back East for sickness or death in the family.

I do my two Pay Pal accounts because u can move tge money from tge emeegency fund to my regular Pay Pal account abd within 2-3 minutes debit card. There is no waiting 3-5 businesses days to get money from the Bank account to the Pay Pal account.

Every $ i spend with the debit card i get 1% cash back. Every $ i use on eBay i get 2% back every 90 days.

All Depends on what kind of card it is.

    1. Some of those prepsid cards charged management fees i had one that charged me $2.95 a month for management fees.

    2. My Pay Pal debit card actually pays ME to use their xard. I get about $9 a month for swiping my debit card as a debit card and my purchases at Amazon and other places online, then every 3 months i get another $15-20 in eBay Bucks to spend on eBay. It is like $14-15 free money every month just for using my Pay Pal debit card.

Of course i am in my Pay Pal account every day, abd anything accessing my Pay PAL accounts within a minute or two i get an email so i can dispute tge charges in 72 hours or less instead of waiting up to 30 days for the Bank or Credit card statement.

We've had extremely good luck with Discover and Bank of America.
With Bank of America, you can go in and set up a one time use, disposable number. It's sometimes a pain though, if the vendor hits your account for $1 to check, then that number won't work when they go to charge the correct amount.
The only thing that got through with Discover were two $50 cash advances at a WalMart in Ga., (we live in the MidWest) and the people physically had a card with our number to swipe. Crazy. But, we weren't liable for the charges, just had to wait for new cards.
Otherwise, any card hacks have been caught when they've tried the $1 "fishing" charge, so even the CC companies (named above) haven't been out anything.

    Just our experience...YMMV though. :)

ETA: So, my new KF5 should be here today. Really excited to try it out. :D
HHV has lightning fast shipping. I ordered Friday a.m., and if it weren't for the holiday, I would have had it yesterday. :)

Right. I'm always :offtopic: but as you guys are always here and most seem to be tootle puffers.

Kayfun lite; Correct me if I'm wrong but if you just milled the whole chimney section to the top cap, wouldn't you be able to both access the deck and also fill from the bottom.
It's either already done or doesn't work because of a,b and c.
    Which is it?

Not 100% sure I understand, but if I am understanding correctly, if you milled that down, you will flood the coil/wick area.
The chimney section creates a "diver's bell" over the coil and wick that keeps liquid down where it should be.

Unless, I'm completely lost, which is entirely possible.
Someone will come along that knows. :)

I surely love my KFL+'s though. Glad I have a several for the stash. ;)

I'm so sorry, that really stinks. My main cc was hacked in August. I caught it while the charge was pending, $2000 to vacation express. :-x
