I'm still trying to find tanks that really ring my bell. Waiting on kayfun mini v3 styled and kayfun v5 mini styled from FT now. Once I find something me and the hubby like I'll stock up on them.
That's how it was with me. Got so many tanks to play with, but kept going back to my good 'ole Toptank mini (use stock coils and rebuild the RBA) so ordered a couple more for storage.

What's the airflow like on the Toptank. I have been looking at tanks recently and that one looks good to me.

The firmware and a $10 USB power meter is helping me learn some other things.
Here are the results from a couple of work days.
On 3/6/17 I took 524 puffs. Total firing time was 645 seconds. Consumed ml 4 of liquid. 2431 mAh was needed to recharge the battery.
Does the power meter test the 'health' of your battery?

Like they say, go with the ones that got you there. :)
I liked the experience i got from my Nautilus mini but stopped using it because it isn't practical to rebuild. what I do now is try to come close to that with an rda and temp control with a similar coil resistance and 20 watts or less.

I'm a tootle puffer so have the air flow closed off to the second hole and works great for me. I have one that has a Protank 4 base which I like better because there are no hole, just a slider.

I like them too, and the Triton mini, but your right, to much of a pain to rebuild. I stocked up on coils for those tanks.

I loaded up on the Kanger TTM with the slider, too, when I found them for $9.99 in several colors. Posted about them on here a few months ago I think it was. Bunch of us picked some up then.

I haven't been able to find any with the slider, and got the one I have first so thought that was the norm. I wouldn't even mind just getting some Protank 4 bases.

I want the least expensive quality vape i can manage. A $5 roll of wire and a $10 bag of cotton is enough to rewick twice a week and rebuild twice a month--for 4+ years. My cost of ingredients for DIY works out to 1.1 cents per ml, 5 cents a day. My preferred mod costs $24. My preferred atomizer is $7. Vaping is free. I remember when long distance calling was so expensive we all wrote letters that we put in an actual mail box and a guy with a bag came by and picked them up. Now talking and sending messages are free. Free is an excellent price but if everything is free won't we all be poor? Hmmm...I'm confused.

The ones I posted about were NOS (new old stock) they were selling off for $9.99 to make room for more new inventory. So, they all had the slider on them. I bought several first on Nov. 30th, according to my CC statement. Then when they came in, and I liked the slider...I called on Dec. 7th to see how many more he had that people hadn't bought after I posted about them. I ended up buying all he had left except for I think 5 red ones. He promptly then raised the price for those on their website to $19.99 each!

I have one of those too, hubby was using it but even with the air turned all the way down he didn't love. He used it, just not enthusiastically. I'm going to play around with it for myself, I think I'm kind of over the duel coil setups, currently using a Protank 4 and Velocity style rda.

I remember your post when you were looking for a tank for your hubby. I think the ones you got coming will be great for him. Be sure to let us know too. :)

The newer Toptank has the slider, at least the one I picked up a couple months ago does.
