Yepper ... one of those 510 cig-a-likes lasted me maybe an hour of vaping ... so had to have plently in reserve and constantly recharging them. But they started me on the path to vaping and it's over 5 years since I've smoked. So they were a 'good thing'.

O my, the memories! I still have working batts put away for whatever.....used to have to pack 3-4 batts in my purse if I were going out. Now, I carry two, just for different flavors, otherwise, just one.

I've seen folks actually wiggle their noses trying to figure out what they're smelling.....I don't say a thing....just continue stealth vaping.
And that is why non smokers have no clue they've been exposed to vaping. It's a catch 22. I stealth vape including in er's. I want to tell them so bad ......

Only if you want any of the features in the newer firmware like smart mode, preheat for wattage mode, simplified interface, etc.

So is it erroneous to assume that it comes with the latest update? And how often are updates released?

no idea. i bought all mine last year, before any firmware upgrades had been released I think. I think you can check firmware version by clicking fire 20 times or something like that. they dont seem to post dates for the firmware releases on the site like wismec does - Softwares for iStick Pico - Eleaf electronic cigarette

@Katdarling - I bought my JoyeTech kit in Jan. 2013, but never used it (except once) until that Nov. I don't remember ever seeing a multi-charger like that. They must've been long ago off the market by Nov. 2013 I guess. I'd surely buy 1 if anyone knows where to find 1 or wants to sell one. Several friends have gotten 510 kits from me.

@BackDoc - If you still have that eGo multi-charger and want to sell it, or know where I can get 1 of them...please let me know.

d h g a t e, perhaps. But prolly, sadly, they aren't available anymore. I'm sure you have a slew of one-sies, tho, right?

Welp that little multi charger saved my vaping ****. I bought TWO kits originally. Somehow, I must have intuited that two little peewee sized batts were just not going to do it, so FOUR ought to be enuf.....

Sadly tho, 2 were with me, and 2 were home on that big charger thing. After 45 minutes ( ) I had to leave my locale to get home and get the fresh ones.... and drive back to my previous location!

How I stopped smoking, I'll never know.

I am never done stocking up. Oh, I have several lifetime's worth of nic in the freezer, but I just ordered another CoV Wraith since I like the first one so much. Ans my VF Vapor Flask Stout finally arrived. Looks good with an Alleria on top.

And how do you like it?
I went for the key lime pie and I don't really dig it. Has a touch of mint or menthol in it that kind of turns me off. I don't hate it, may like it more when it is 120 degrees here, but it didn't knock my socks off.

Gonna make a few orders on Friday. Not sure what yet. I know I'm gonna grab for flavors from MFS for sure. Then I'm gonna spend $100 or so at FT. Don't know if I want devices or spare parts. Then finally I'm either gonna grab a few more Gemini's from Elementvape or see if I can nab a couple PICO's from RMV. Decisions, decisions.

I'm a man, and I can change, if I have to, I guess.

I have a question.. just got the Pico yesterday, do I need to do the software update on it?

I usually do the firmware update if there's a feature I want and will use. V1.03 is out and you can always re-flash it back to an earlier level if you don't like it. V1.03 is customizable, so you can change different combinations of what's displayed on the screen, and you can turn features on and off.

I think I'm going to keep it where it's at, if I decide later on I need it
I will update. I'm still getting use to seeing watt instead of volts, coming from my provari to the Pico.

The good part is that you don't have to mentally calculate the setting anymore with the Pico. I still get the Provari V2 out once in a while and vape it, then I go back to more modern electronics. I tried TC on a couple of my early models when TC first hit the ecig world. It sucked, so I went back to power mode. Now, TC is refined and a great vape.

I really like the look and feel of the Pico and the $$ can't be beat, but my heart loves my trusted provari too!

There will always bo a soft spot in my heart for the Provari. It's what got me off the smokes. That, and Boge Cartos.
