It was advertised as Temco, but I didn't notice a supplier name on the order. They could have been selling it from a huge spool in a warehouse for a lower price. It's good wire, so I got my money's worth.

I went back and looked at the 2014 Amazon order. Clicking the item on the past order shows the item on a Temco spool and the page shows it to be sold and shipped by Temco. I guess they were out of spools and someone went to the warehouse and clipped off 100' and put it in a bag in an envelope and shipped it!

That's really weird Temco did that. But it was 3 years ago so who knows how they were packaging back then. Given they sell 1000' foot rolls, and even by the pound , it's certainly possible. As long as it's manageable for you that's all that matters.

I was surprised that it came that way after the picture showing it on a Temco spool, but it was good clean wire rolled up in a coil with no kinks and it worked fine. That was my first time ordering SS and the first time wire didn't come on a spool. It wasn't worth returning and re-ordering, so I kept it and used it.

I would have done the same. I find Temco supplies an excellent product and personally think a lot of the "vape" wire out there is just rebranded Temco.

Temco is great but I recently started buying Lightning Vapes wire when on sale. A few people had issues with it in the past but everything I have ordered from them in the last year has been quality and clean.

I have accumulated about 3000ft of every type of wire from 24-32g and it likely will outlast me. For around $150-200 total, I am set for life(s)!

Wire is something I have some of, but I've not been worried about the market going dry on that, so I've not done any stocking up where wire is concerned.

I discovered last night what my 13 yr old was doing with my wire...
He hooked it up to his rocket launcher remote, and was making it glow. I think I can put him to work now....

Hahaha... he's ingenious!

hahahaa...I've been making the same 3 flavors for 4 years. All of them have are VC based. I share...here's some great recipes for whoever wants them.
Nilla Please:
13% Capella Vanilla Custard
3% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
1/2% TFA Dulce de Leche

Nilla Nuts (my favorite)
13% Capella Vanilla Custard
3% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
2.5% TFA Hazelnut (not DX)

The Last Straw
10% Capella Vanilla Custard
2% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
3.5% TFA Strawberry (plain)
3.5% Capella Sweet Strawberry

best part, no steeping required
enjoy!
Yum! Have to get some Dulce de Leche and Hazelnut.
Your "Nilla Please" recipe, is that half percent (dulce de leche) or 1 to 2 percent?
Going to make the strawberry one right away. I have everything for that one. :)
Thanks for sharing.

He's now adding to my cart on FT for electrical tools, wires, junk,
To add to his tool box! I can't believe he took some of my wire!

Half percent....If you really like dulce, you can add more but it's a strong flavor and I only like a hint of it. It's also good with no dulce but after a few years, I had to change it a little. The nilla Nuts is the best one though.

Awesome, thank you! Hazelnut and a small bottle of the dulce de leche is on my list!

Ah, nothing like child pyromaniacs. :D

I set fire to my parents drapes with a candle because I wanted to see all the pretty colors (or so they told me afterwards). fortunately in those days 4 year olds couldn't be sentenced to supermax prisons, so instead I got a timeout to stay in my room for something like one year.

I'm not sure how old we were. But, me and my 3 siblings were playing with a candle on a melamine plate, catching little pieces of paper on fire and letting them fall onto the plate.

Guess what we learned from this experiment. Melamine will get too hot to pick and start to melt! We had to run to my grandmother and tell on ourselves so she could put the fire out before it spread.

So, make sure whatever fireproof container you're using really is fireproof!

He's learning about volts and power and you name it right now! He just finished building a computer, and he's really in love with solar energy and I have the solar panels laying everywhere! ( driving me crazy)

I agree. I bought a bunch as LV has a deal for wire and Cotton Bacon/Native Wicks cotton where the wire is basically free. As it doesn't expire (and wire and wicks are about 2x the price in Canada, I figured why not?

As long as they still make toasters, heated car seats and hundreds of other items that use resistance wire, Temco and others aren't going anywhere though.

When I go to CASAA.org and see 5 states with call to action because of vaping taxes they are wanting to impose, I think this stocking up is not very radical at all.

So yeah, I placed an order with RTS Vapes for another 1/2 liter of nic.
I think every state wants a piece of the tax pie.
