That will definitely make it more difficult. I know there are a few vendors who offer a 555 blend, which I think is supposed to be like Marlboro Reds. I think I've also seen a menthol version of this as well.

I copied a great post I found on non sweet tobacco juices. Maybe you should look into this vendor?

I can think of many true tobacco vapes that aren't sweet, other than the natural sweetness from the VG/PG.
Have you tried NET's at all?
If you're looking for a tobacco vape that seriously tastes like tobacco, then NET's are probably what you're looking for.
The only other question would be, are you looking for a Cigarette style... Cigarette-style e-Liquids
Cigar... Cigar e-Liquids
Pipe... Pipe Tobacco e-Liquids
Hybrid/Flavored Tobacco... Flavored N-E-T/"Hybrids" (most of these will be on the sweeter side, but not cotton-candy sweet)
Single leaf tobacco... Single Varietal and "Special" Tobacco Types

I apologize that all the links are from one vendor, but they just happen to be my favorite tobacco extractor/vendor.

Have you posted this query in the Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux thread? That's where you'll find the "Experts" in tobacco juices.

Oh, and they do ship internationally, with free samples thrown in!

No I haven't posted there yet.. I will as I know both my husband's favorite pipe tobacco as well as what cigarettes that he smokes.

I went ahead and purchased two testers from your site, just to give them a try.. thAnks for the links!

Well my stockpile savings got pushed back three weeks cause I'm impulse bought a new computer desk, lol.

But it was for a great price on Amazon and it will give me better storage options, and I've been working some OT so I'm not worried. I'll have my savings back on track in no time.

Also decided to go ahead and add another 1.5L of nic to my stockpile cause I think I may bump my nic strength up just a hair and see if I can reduce my daily usage.

Every single new vaper seems to want tobacco flavor. Most of the time that lasts a week or two until their taste buds start waking up. Maybe some find their adv right away, but I needed to wander the first year. That kept me interested in vaping. I would have benefitted from a subscription service like zamplebox that allows me to change flavor profiles monthly. I expect half to be duds, but there's pif and trade forums for those.

IMO tobacco and coffee are 2 of the toughest flavors to get right and I think it's because of high expectations of them. I know what I want. I wasn't that way with chai tea or peach or waffle flavors. It really is individual.

I've vaped Prelude from BlackNote and it really tastes like tobacco, not my ADV but I vape it occasionally

Your son may want to try that brand, they are all about NETs

Opinionated,

Congratulations on your husband wanting to give vaping a shot!

I smoked a pack to a pack and a half of Marlboro Lights a day. I started vaping with 12 mg. nic, and it wasn't enough, so went up to 16 mg. It was much better, but not quite enough to keep me from chain vaping and wanting an analog. 18 mg was perfect for me. I was able to put the analogs down, and had no need to chain vape. I would definitely start him at 18, and then either go up or down on nic as needed.

Somehow I missed this post altogether yesterday,so sorry I did..

What I have decided to do, based on some recommendations is to buy the smooth nicotine salts from NN to reduce throat hit for him, this way if I have to up his nicotine level I can, without it affecting his throat too much..

It's good to know that 18 was just right for you after smoking a pack and a half a day..

May I ask what was your original device?

I don't know what brand my very first device was, but it was an ego type device. Within a couple of weeks of vaping, I had an Aspire battery with a Nauti mini, and it was very effective for me. I think the Nicotine Salts are a good idea. Hopefully, they'll help him quit.

I always tell smokers to just give vaping a shot and don't feel like the minute you get your vape gear you can't ever have an analog again. Find the gear that works effectively first, get comfy with it, and then think about putting the smokes away. Your husband is lucky to have a spouse who is also a vaper to help him navigate the transition from smoking to vaping! Good luck to both of you!

I was pack and a half smoker. I started on Vuse by accident with no intention of quitting just helping me out in places smoking was not possible (hotel rooms). What I didn't know was it contained 48 mg nic. Solid hit with that. When I went to my first vape gear it was 24 mg Tribeca that made me toss Vuse in the trash. I stayed at 24 mg for sometime, until I ordered some 12 mg juice by accident. At first I was like "this won't work" but once I started using it, I found it was as satisfying, so moved down to that. When i went with a more open draw, lower ohm setup I went to 6 and have stayed there ever since.

For me it was finding enough nic to avoid cravings. Once I had that, and was away from cigarettes for a while it became about flavor and general enjoyment. But if I had not started out and stayed with a really high nic setup the first 6 months or so, I doubt it would have worked for me.

Anyone who's already been a customer of Bulk Apothecary...may want to check your emails. They sent 1 this morning with a really good discount code in it, as a Thank You for being their customer. :)

Do they have the polycone caps for the glass bottles?

It must be a targeted email based on activity or purchase volume. I last ordered from them about nine months ago and no email.

I just went and checked, and nope...I don't see any on their site.

I get all of mine from GlassBottleOutlet.com. They have by far the best prices on the Amber Glass Boston Round Bottles and Polycone Caps that most people get for them. IIRC...the caps by themselves are about 13 cents apiece. It may depend on the size and quantity you buy, but I think that's about the average cost for them.

It might be, though I haven't bought a huge amount of PG and VG from them. Did you set up an account or register with them? Or just make a purchase without doing that?

I just logged in to my account to check, and I'm still there. Not that I really need anything right now, but odd. I have gotten their promotional emails before too.

That is kind of odd then, that you didn't get an email. Maybe they're staggering it, or going alphabetically, so they're not swamped with orders all in 1 day? IDK.

I don't really need more PG or VG right now either, but I'm really tempted since I could get 1 gallon of each, including delivery for just $30 + change.
