How did that happen? Did they just not ship them to you? Do you have any recourse?

I collect mech mods but mainly as the 30+ clones I own we're almost all under $10 and my dozen+ authentics were all bought on sale.

Protecting my vaping future but could make a few bucks if I ever decided to sell them.

I have no interest in owning a dozen smok Aliens or TFV tanks as something better and cheaper will be just around the corner....

Just my $0.02...
I decided a year ago that I'd stock Picos because of form factor. It's my favorite and what I use out of the house. I only use the others because I have them. Nothing has come out since I'd rather have. The Picos I own have been upgraded substantially via Arctic Fox firmware which has been updated one more time. If better mods are available in the future that means they are AVAILABLE and the stockpile wasn't necessary after all.

Who remembers that, after last August, there would be NO MORE NEW PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND!...huh?

I got out a Pico today for a higher ohm built RDA I haven't used in awhile that you can probably appreciate. I tried AF twice and didn't find it any better than the stock eleaf firmware in stock configuration for SS TC so I stick with the standard firmware but this is giving a great vape at 0.32ohm, 44w and 440F. I need to add a few more pico to the stash some time soon.

What's the difference after you update? I have several but haven't updated firmware yet

I'm using pre heat wiith temp control to heat up the coil faster but have low watts most of the time. I can reset the puff time and count which the stock firm ware wouldn't do. I like the real time monitor, useful information. I like the PC tool box and wish there was an android version. All that helped me move from 8 wraps of 28 guage stainless to 8 wraps of 30 guage. The thinner wire needs half the power too make the same heat flux.

AF has a lot of features similar to escribe where you can adjust a lot of settings on the pc and upload the changes to the mod. You can also customize the display a lot more I think. Out of the box I preferred the SS TC vape with the stock eleaf firmware latest version vs the AF SS TC presets as I didn't want to bother tweaking things. If you like tinkering you might like AF and get a better vape. If you tootle puff and/or just vape in VW mode I doubt AF will offer much benefit.

Edit: just saw the last post. Extra preheat control in TC mode might be nice to lower the watts while vaping but my stock eleaf/wismec TC mode works well enough for me and I got lots of extra spare batteries and work from home so I am not worried about a battery, or set of batteries, lasting me a full day since I work from home.

I've had my Istick100TC for over a year and just last week I found and upgraded the software to ArticFox. Its been working great in my Istick. It give you more options in fine tuning a TC vape and making the hitter more personal. I'm still learning the power curves, preheat, all the adjustable settings and jargon but so far I'm liking this vape.

Good to know, thanks! Yeah, I almost always use wattage mode. Any danger of me messing up the device while trying to update? I mean is it dummy-proof to download the update?

I bet your batteries last longer too!

I was having trouble figuring out how to install the AF software, not much info out there....It wouldn't recognize the Istick. I finally saw a YT vid spoken in Russian but watched what he was doing. He used a .bin file to install the AF. That's what I was missing and had no bin file in the folder so went and found the bin file needed on the site then it all installed without problem.

looks like I was scammed on the Gorilla bottles from eBay ... not feeling great about that.

however, that does not discourage my quest for Gorilla bottles ... ordered 80 more from DashVapes
Was Dash fairly reasonable on 80? They seem expensive based on single bottle pricing....

nope ... paid $137 incl shipping for 60 x 30ml clear, 12 x 30ml black, 2 x 120ml clear and 2 x 200ml clear.

I have to have these though and I know Dash only deals in true authentic merchandise.

bulk would be qty of 1,000 min

Ah, my nic for DIY should be in tomorrow, already got plenty of PG and VG, and flavors for the next 5 years. That's my stockpile goal. 5 years either I can still vape, or, it's basically been outlawed and, I have to quit.
Feels good to have a good supply of Nic, doesn't it?

Don't go crazy on the PG and VG though. They will be available long term as they are today.....

This is true - stockpiling doesn't mean that you can't buy new mods if they are available in the future.

However, don't be too confident that the sky isn't going to fall - it is still the most likely outcome at this point.

Went to a vape shop near me as I was out today running errands. Bad idea to walk in a vape shop with cash in my pocket. Walked out with another Pico (this one with the Melo 3 tank), a pack of coils, and 2 60mls. of juice. NO MORE PICOS for me (well maybe a resin one). Why can't I just be done already! Now I have a new tank that I like and will be needing coils, and a RBA for it. I'm hopeless I tell you... hopeless.

At least they threw in a handful of vape bands for free.
