Somewhere out there
They are reluctant to sell the GO boards to DIY Modders because of the very narrow resistance range.

"The difficulty with selling Go boards to modders is that, unlike most of the dna boards, the Go has a VERY narrow working range in terms of resistance. Basically .2-.4 ohms, and that's total resistance, not cold resistance.

We're hesitant to turn it loose in a mod context, because we fear that a lot of people will end up disappointed. It'll run with a larger range, of course, but the performance will be poor. It really needs pods tailored to it to shine."
That makes sense, thanks

Well I didn't see anybody mention this yet. But the DNA250 can only do 250 watts with 3 cells. Although the DNA250C with the International firmware can do 300 watts with 3 cells and 400 watts with 4 cells.

Here is Vaping with Vic tests the Triade 250C at 300 watts at 24 minutes into it.

LOL! I always wondered why people would use those high watts. That was funny.

Since I gave in earlier tonight, and spent a chunk of change, but saved a chunk, too...I thought I'd tempt some of you with some really good deals, too! :)

DEAL #1 - MFS is having their big 30% off sale on replacement coils, wire, wick, and pods, until midnight October 15th. Use this code at Checkout to get the discount: 30COILWICK (Discount applies to maximum quantity of 3 per product)

DEAL #2 - For Berserker Mini lovers...The Berserker 22mm MTL RTA, in Gold, is on Clearance at 101Vape for just $20. That's $7 less than it is on FT.

DEAL #3 - VaporDNA has the Berserker 24mm MTL RTAs in all 4 colors, in their Clearance/Sale section...for just $17.99 each for any color. (That price is at least $6 less than FT the last I checked, and the FT price varies according to the color you order.) Shipping by USPS Ground is a flat $4.99. By FedEx it's more. However, if your order is $49.99 or more, USPS is FREE. If it's $59.99 or more FedEx 2-day shipping is FREE.

Even if you aren't interested in Berserkers...you may want to check out all of VaporDNA's hardware on Clearance/Sale. Many of the prices for other tanks, mods, coils, etc. are amazing, IMO! I couldn't believe how discounted many of them are!

Also, if you've never placed an order from them...sign up to get their email newsletters. Once you confirm on their website that you are signing up for them...they'll immediately show you a coupon code for 10% off that you can then use when you place your order.

To me, it doesn't get much better, than adding to my stash when the stuff is on Sale or Clearance! :D

I just bought 9 packs of GeekVape supermesh coils and got my 30% discount BUT...
It would only allow me $10.76 discount at a time (30% of 3 packs) so I had to make 3 separate orders to get my full 30% on 9(with free shipping!)

Killer deal. Thanks JC!

BTW - The Supermesh coils are already on sale for $2 off/pack so this is a deal to jump on for Aero Tank and Cerberus Tank users. Typical price for these coils is $14/pack - I got mine for $8.36/pack - I saved over $50 on 9 packs :toast:

 Oh, geez! I just went back and looked at the email about it, and it does say "Discount applies to maximum quantity of 3 per product."

I'm sorry. Guess I tried to hurry too fast to post the above, and missed that important detail. I'll go back and edit my post above and somewhere else I posted about it, too. Thanks for the heads-up!

I hope you do, too.
But...I wouldn't be surprised if they contact you, if whoever pulls the order is aware of the statement about the quantity. ;)

All 9 packs are on the way. I also ordered 3 packs of Naughty BVC coils for Mrs. M.
I hope they sent them all together to save themselves some shipping $$.

What is the biggest natural sweet that everyone is raving about, I was curious to which one would suit me.

Wow! That quoted post was way back on pg. 1 of this thread! I'm glad I stopped working my way backward...trying to find it. Made it 12 pages back, and then decided to just do a search for it. :)

That's the first and only time I've seen anyone refer to PG and VG as being "natural sweeteners". VG does have a slightly sweet taste to it, but to me, PG is definitely not sweet at all, and instead borders on slightly bitter.

What they were talking about on pg. 1...was whether or not stocking up on PG and VG might be a good idea, because they're 2 of the ingredients used to make eliquids. A lot of people on the ECF DIY their own. Because of the FDA "garbage" that has been, and still is, going on concerning vaping...many have stockpiled nic base. But there are varying views on whether or not to stock up on PG, VG, and flavorings.

PG & VG are not sold nor used "as" sweeteners for eliquids. However, there are flavorings made by quite a few companies that are sold specifically for that purpose. Two of the more commonly used ones are TFA Sweetener and CAP Super Sweet. Some of the "sweeteners" have ingredients in common, and others are very different from the rest. Because everyone's tastes vary though, people use a variety of the different ones available. It may be best to check out the ingredients of various ones, and then get just a small bottle of a couple to try, based on their ingredients.

This makes me feel a little better. I just recently discovered what the 'Top' button was for. Almost 3 years (we're just a few days apart) of scrolling like crazy, to get back to the top of a thread page. I can now add the little red arrow to that list of unknown (to me) features.

    Yep...joined just 3 days apart! :)

I must confess...I've always noticed that little "Top" feature, but never tried it. Have been "a scroller", too, myself.
