If it is a cc or paypal transaction, I would dispute it. Heck, I think just threatening them with it might get them moving.

It was a credit card. They sent me the wrong item (three incorrect, actually). I'd much prefer they did the right thing, but yes, that's not out of the question.

Technically, I could probably sell them at some point and recoup at least some of the loss. It was far from a huge loss, but it's the point.

I ordered silver. Unless this is just a case of "REALLY BRIGHT" silver, they sent the wrong ones.

;)

What mod is that? I’m not the best with color but I’m pretty sure they aren’t silver. I went through a similar issue with vapor beast and just kept calling them and raising hell until they finally just gave me a refund. I think it doesn’t hurt to let them know that you are active on ECF. Bad publicity can do a lot more harm to a business than one refund.

It's a Wismec CB(something-or-other). The one with the internal batteries that they were practically giving away last weekend. I know they're out of stock now, and apparently they finally figured that out. They were very responsive at first, then dropped off the planet.

I may get nasty. If not, in the worst case scenario, friends and family "stop by" my house semi-routinely, because they need one thing or another. The :censored:ers have already sucked up most of my cheaper stuff, so keeping these babies on hand and visible may become my best deterrent.

"Sure - I've got THIS lovely fluorescent green thing for you the next time you need something. NO problem at all."

THAT will get them off to a vape shop, right quick, I expect.

Who knows, maybe their favorite color is green. I wish I could get my wife to use some of my vaping stuff instead of smoking. I bought her a couple simple starter kits but she hardly ever uses them.

One of them is a Packers fan, and his wife is a Jets fan, but I think these might be a bit too bright for either of them. But one never knows... :D

I hope you do realize I was just busting (I'm sometimes a bit incorrigible).

It's not bad at all (and my kids absolutely WOULD take them in a heartbeat), but Breazy SHOULD step up and take them back. It's the principle of the situation that bugs me. They're clearly marked "Green" on the box.

If they couldn't manage the sale, they shouldn't have had the sale. Standards count. :)

I agree. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t take them back and give a refund. Have you tried calling on the phone. Email is sometimes easily ignored but when you call and ask for a manager you can get better results.

As far as stocking up - I was more concerned with equipment that I was with nicotine and flavoring so I made sure I learned how to build coils. Once I got that down, I've gobbled up some RTA tanks on sale and quite a number of boxes. I truly believe that I have enough boxes, tanks and premade coils to outlast me -- and it is not like I have a ton but definitely enough. My next mission is to grab a hold of a decent amount of nic and put it in the freezer. I figure I can always get a hold of VG, flavoring and batteries.
Several long time DIYers recommended Heartland to me. (I was paying dearly for Nic River). They run % off several times a year, making a litre of their regular (not premium) around $35. I have ten frozen in bottles as “do not touch until FDA emergency”, but have been using one litre for current mixing. Clean nic as far as I can tell.

No, but I had a very nice girl named Kharon being quite responsive, for 5-6 emails actually. She didn't go silent until after she was checking with Shipping about replacing the units.

I knew there would be issues (they were already showing sold out), but I didn't expect a complete communications black-out. Not the first time life has surprised, and likely not the last (knock wood).

This strikes me as backwards. Mods can easily be made locally, by an informal cottage industry. Atties are more difficult, requiring decent CNC machining capabilities, but if one were to use several different machine shops for the different parts needed, it's unlikely that any of them would recognize what the parts are for. And China Inc. will happily sell you both even if they're banned; they'll just describe them as something innocuous on the customs paperwork.

Nicotine is by far the easiest thing for the FDA to shut down. Extracting it from tobacco is not easy, especially if you want a high-quality product that doesn't have a off taste. If/when the FDA shuts it down, I'm sure there will be a informal market for it too, but it will be very expensive, and the quality will be questionable. Thus for anyone inclined to stockpile, nicotine should be their first priority.
I hear you. My family used to joke when I was a smoker that I'd smoke wood if necessary. As I stand now, I vape because I totally enjoy it and I'm down to way way low nic so, for me, it would not be the end of the world if I could not get my hands on any nicotine (but I am still going to get some). .... I am ordering nic right now to put in my freezer :) :)

Now I know who to call if I run out. I bought one from heartland and one from MFS. I really can’t tell the difference. I did try a couple of the small bottles of the premium from heartland and it did seem cleaner tasting. However it’s a little expensive to stock pile. I have a little over a liter and a half on hand right now and probably should get more. I don’t vape a lot during the work day since I have to stealth so a liter lasts me quite a while. The one I’m on now was bought almost two years ago and I’m not half through it.

This is somewhat nice to hear because I have a stockpile of MFS (the kids will fight over it when I die). I've always thought it was quite good, but I've heard folks frown about it. Not that I'd throw it away or anything, because I really do like it, but it's refreshing to hear someone say that it doesn't suck.

    So thanks, Hittman. :thumb:

Good news for y’all, as I have 40 years worth of nic. That would last me well into my 90’s, sooooooo someone here could inherit my stash. For once you can thank your lucky stars I’m already old and cranky, and overly prepared ;)

I want to know how come I can't find a cthulu hastar mini RTA and a Vapefly galaxies RTA from a US vendor in the same place cuz don't want to buy shipping twice. Why is life so HARD?? China can do it all day long apparently but like, much as I love Fasttech I just don't want to Fastwait, and most emphatically don't want Fastpay.

The doggystyle top fill looks super fun, maybe I will have to do it all a-la fasttech, I guess.

I'm avoiding all mention of my dinner thing and in about an hour will have to FREAK and get ready. I should probably eat something... I know, eggnog? That's healthy it has egg in it (this is what I'm like after internet searches and whatnot. Sorry.)

I’ve heard a comment here and there but I’ve never had an issue with their nic.

I’m fully loaded on hardware but I should probably have a couple more liters on hand just in case. I forgot who it was but I was thinking that one of the vendors would break a liter into smaller bottles for free.
