Would building a walk-in freezer in one's garage count?Anyone converted parts of their house to keep all this gear?![]()
I haven't done it, but I've been tempted.

Hell, you even provided running water and a place to bathe. Entitled brat. Not yet, but I did kick a kid out because I needed her room.
I don't know why she's so upset about it. I got her setup in a quite a nice little van, down by the river.
Kids today. Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled (smh).

I can see it now, a simple plan to store nic turns into a nice work from home business, eventually storing friends and family...in the garage.
June 23, 2016:Commitment is key but who will be the first to break rank and declare;
‘I have stocked up’
As of yesterday, I am truly done stocking up.
I now have 40 years worth of nic split between freezers in several locations. I do not think I'll live that long, but I'd rather not wake up some morning wishing I had bought more.
I'm good to go with gear as well. There's not much to go wrong with mechanical squonk mods and BF atties, at least not that can't be fixed using low-tech solutions.
Does that mean I won't buy more hardware if I come across something that appeals to me? Hardly. I'm still a squonk-mod junkie.![]()
You're gonna need a whole lot more bottles to fill a 3 cubic foot freezer!I ordered a freezer today and a 12 pack of 8oz bottles. It’s just a 3 cubic foot upright but should be good for storing nic.

Twelve 8-oz bottles won't even hold three liters of nic.![]()
It's been a few years since I researched stand alone freezers. This was the best prospect at the time.

Most of my nic comes from MSF and also the 250 ml and 1 liter amber glass bottles I use. I noticed the peppery taste for a couple of days. Then my taste buds stopped noticing it. My nic in long term storage goes in 1 liter bottles. When it's time to open one of those bottles it's poured into 4 250 ml bottles for mixing. The 1 liter bottles are put in zip lock bags, wrapped in bubble wrap which is put in another zip lock bags and carefully labeled with nic concentration, suppliier, and date. The one leader bottles fit on the lower door shelf. The smaller bottles, also wrapped in bubble wrap fit in the upper door shelf.
Right now I'm mixing with nic that's been in storage 4 years. I do not see color change and it seems to vape fine. I suspect that regardless of color change there might be a slight drop in potency over years. If I notice that I'll increase nic a percent or two. Until there is evidence to the contrary I'm satisfied with my kitchen freezer. I live alone so no competition for freezer space.
Right now my main concern is shelf life of mods, the screens in particular. I like TC but can live with watts regulation if there's no alternative so I'll probably have a couple of protected tube mods with spare control boards like this. May be someone here has more experience with this style of mod and can suggest something better?

P.S. I was stocked up a couple years ago but reserved the option to fortify if the threat increased, which it has. It's hard to believe the Trump administration will allow the vape business in the US to be wiped away in one stroke before the 2020 election.
The mod has a circuit board, easily replaced, that should protect against the safety issues, shorts, reverse battery, low voltage, etc. Spare boards are available and inexpensive. It seems to me to be the least expensive way to increase backup mods.Don't see that it is protected.
I know zero about mechs but have an Ehpro Armor.
Never used it. And hope I never do.
It does have some protection.
Would be interested to see suggestions from others as well.

I've settled on one particular rda clone for all day everyday use. I was able to get a bunch of them from FT for $7 each before they seemed to be discontinued everywhere. My preferred mod, the original pico, has a screen life problem so the shelf life of those is a worry.
Nah, they keep your car cool when it's hot and sunny out. They keep you from getting soaked when it's pouring rain. They keep you from having to scrape the snow and ice off your car in the winter (not applicable in Florida or southern Arizona). They keep tree stuff (pollen, seeds, leaves, etc) from clogging up the various water drains. Bottom line: A garage-kept car will last a lot longer than one that spends its life parked out in the elements all the time.LOL @Rossum garages are so useless. They really are.
Yeah, we've all seen the picture. When I had one, I primarily used it for like running into the back of it and making dents because I forgot to open them.
