Thats what I have the Lemo 2. Kinda sucks with it leaking.
Lemo 2s will leak like a sieve if there are any open areas on the 2 side openings (ware the juice ports are). You need to use a large enough coil, I use 3mm, to have enough rayon to fill the areas. It doesn't need to be thick or packed in just lightly filled.
I love the tank (have 10 in my st-ache) 3 on my desk, not leaking! Hope this helps.

I've been done stocking up for about 18 mo now. Saw this coming a long time ago.
I always kept about a 2+ year supply of liquid and hardware on hand since that time about a decade ago when the FDA was overstepping and holding e-cig imports at customs... but with this fiasco I am doing 10+ years.

Quick question for people who understand sub-ohm tanks. I have the Vaporesso NRG (2ml tpd version if that makes a difference) and even though I don’t use premade coils it’s a really nice tank so, does anyone know it well enough to know which least expensive coils I might stock up just to have some back ups for those tanks and has anyone looked into the possibility of rebuilding those coils as an option? I haven’t pulled one apart to see because I’m saving the two coils that came with it for emergencies.

You should probably post this in the Rebuildable's or Tanks forums

The NRG tank uses coils that are "TFV8" compatible, TFV8 being the designation Smok used for a number of tanks. Many other brands are available that are TFV8 compatible, so you have plenty of options!

Here's a table that covers a variety of coil types that interchange.

The Small column shows what works in your NRG tank. The cheapest coils will be kanthal vertical coils, with mesh and ccell varieties costing more. As you hunt down choices and deals you'll find some coils for just over a buck each in a five pack, with mesh starting around $1.75 each.

Don't forget spare glass for that NRG and good luck!

I have taken apart and rebuilt coils for my NRG. I did it enough times to become proficient at it and so the end results would be constantly as good as I could get it.
Its okay. Its easily doable. I could be happy with it if it was all I had.
The thing is, I have too many great RTA's and multiples of them that are so much easier to build coils for. It kinda makes rebuilding the NRG coils redundant.
Because I use TC with the NRG I use Eleaf HW1's and SS Vaporesso GT Core CCELLs.
Because I use rta's I seldom use the NRG. Im not going to invest in coils for it.

I’ve seen one type of coil rebuilt, is the one for nrg going to be, pop the bottom off, pull out the guts, spin new coil and wrap in cotton, gently ease it back into coil housing and replace bottom with one coil lead inside and one coil lead outside the bottom o-ring? Basically one lead touching the outer wall and one touching the bottom positive bracket? You know what I mean?

My deepest apologies.

I personally don't think apologies are needed. IMO, your posts about coils for that specific tank IS on topic. It has to do with which ones you could choose to "stock up on". That may also depend on if some of the choices are or aren't rebuildable.

Would you likely get more detailed info on how to actually rebuild them elsewhere? IMO, yes, but asking about it here is OK, too. There have been hundreds of posts in this thread that have definitely been WAY off topic, but IMO, yours weren't. Just :2c: though.

Ok the inventory has been completed. I think I'm set on mods, both regulated and mech. Attys, I'm set on RDAs, would like more True for RTAs, but that's more of a want than need. Need a few more boxes of zenith coils, maybe more pre-coiled wires because I'm lazy. Minifits I have 8, and lots of pods. Not sure if it makes sense to stock more due to internal batteries. All set on nic.

I have too many parts, glass, wire, fuses, pass-throughs and assorted other stuff to list. And 55 X 510 1.5 ohm attys, if it comes down to that.

I need a "what the hell is this" thread. I have so many attys that came in unlabeled boxes, I have no idea anymore what they even are. Also misc parts and replacement decks I can't identify.

I have to remember to look at my inventory list whenever I'm tempted to buy more!

there are a few vids on youtube. But yes, essentially as you describe.
Any tank with prebuilt coils that I have I have tried to recoil and have done it repeatedly to iron out technique and best results. Nealy all of them can be rebuilt but most arent worth the effort compared to a good rta.
It was fun and a bit of an education but at the end of it it was a rabbit hole I didnt need to take a look into.

I wonder if the hellbeast rba might fit? HellBeast RBA Kit

Hellbeast also uses the Vaporesso nrg gt coils.

I have one coming in tomorrow, for use with a hellbeast and a GV Cerberus.

(I agree that a purpose-built rta is generally better, only picked this up to try it out.)

Do you have an NRG tank to try it on? I would grab one if it fits.
