Pm me your address,, I have a gold Silverplay I didn't mean to buy. - yours for free,,, but you are obligated to PIF someone else in the future :)
Thank you but I did order 3 mtl RTa at vapor dna. They have the silverplay for 9 dollars on sale. I should have put one in my cart but this will appease me until next month. Please save it for the coming bans for yourself. I made the mistake and rehomed a ton of mtl old tanks such as kayfuns, Russians , etc. I should have kept those suckers. Yes, I had PIF remorse. Kicking my own behind now.

I'm allergic to owning too much stuff!

It's been great on this thread. I'll have to come back soon. I'm starting a new job and hope to bank a lot of $$$ for vaping. I must be crazy cause I'm not even concerned over bills or food. Its like a hyper focus on getting stocked up. I figure if I start now I should have a decent stash by May 2020.

I use a 3 mm coil with rayon. I make my wick as long as I can and still get the chimney on. I dont know. I keep my airflow wide open.

In the big Lemo thread that I was reading back then a lot of people said they put the chimney on with the wick sticking up long, then cut it above the chimney and push it down. I did that for a long time. Make it long enough that it doesn't pull down at the ends of the coil and leave gaps. It should come up a bit at the ends of the coil. I think that was what they called rabbit ears. Now I cut the wicks first and put the chimney on over them. You have to be careful the ends don't get caught in the threads and pull the wicks sideways. Then I use a dental pick to get the ends of the wick loose and evenly spread out. Also I used to wet the wick and stick it to the sides of the deck before I put the chimney on. Now I put the chimney on dry and drip juice on the wicks after I get the wicks where I want them. Seems to keep the wicks fluffed up better that way.

A lot of people had previously used KFLs and were used to thinning out the ends of the wicks. You want to keep them thicker with Lemos.

I'm trying to remember. I did experiment with adjusting the height of the coil above the airhole. Can't remember what worked best. I can definitely take a pic of mine next time. I think raising the coils up helped reduce leaking from the airholes.

I use 70%vg. I had problems with more PG.

I do still get juice in the base part of the tank where the airholes are. I take that off from time to time and clean out the base and in the gap around where the airflow ring is.

Basically they are fussy tanks. Worth it though IMO.

Just ordered a full Geekvape Legend kit, snakeskin edition from Element. Tanks are like $10 compared to mod only I take the full kit just about every time. Someone was literally buying all of the 0.3 ohm coils I was trying to buy as I was putting them into my cart. Only made it out with one box but got 10 boxes of 0.4 coils for a good price, $7.95 a 5-pack before discount. Thanks for the code I think it was @rosesense

Kinda funny I actually had an account there and my last purchase was 9/16 for (2) Wismec RX200s. Those are still hanging out in my stash at Dad's.
I put a legend in my cart...just muscle memory though. I probably won’t buy it. But I do have my eye on the mini rechargeable.

Somewhere out there
I've been thinking about pre-built coils. I always made my own but maybe it would be nice to get a bagful and save a bunch of time. I make the same coil for all my tanks. 1.3ohm, 3mm, 6 wraps, 28g Kanthal. I looked on FT.

I noticed there's a wide range of price. Authentic UD brand is $8 for 50. Other brands tend to be less than $4 for 100. What's that about? Is there a difference in quality or something?

Most of them have the legs pointing in the same direction, I need them pointing in opposite directions, but those are out of stock at the moment. Guess it's easy enough to take out half a turn.

Are there good sources in this country?
I get mine from FT, they are easy and I just give them that extra turn to the ends in the right direction. I usually vape at .8 so I buy the .6 and with the extra turn gets me around .8 I stocked up so have plenty. I have kanthal and SS.

THis kind of thing and not being able to duplicate a build DO get better with practice.

Leaking and popping in my experience is often not enough wicking (cotton or whatever you use).
I love a bit of popping and crackling as long as it doesn't turn into spitback.

Anyone have a list of trusted nic vendors? I have done business with myfreedomsmokes and nicotine river looks sensible. Are there others I can check out. My interest is to monitor prices to see if pace of buying is increasing.
Heartland Vapes, best prices and service... just got 11 liters of 100mg.

Wait, what? An extension for the 2.5? Can use 18650? I have 2 of those ive considered dying because i have not found batteries for them, please tell me where to find these extensions

They pop up on Ebay from time to time, but none I can find right now. They're actually the P3 extension. Tatroe also made them a few years ago for the 2.5 in case you see one pop up. Good luck!
