Thanks. I checked and they have just the mod for <$30. Is anyone still having trouble with them? I’ve heard 8vape was having some issues with getting stuff out, not sending things, sending the wrong things. That’s been a couple weeks, so maybe they got their act together by now.
I've ordered from them twice in the past two months and despite some issues that I've heard about both my orders came through very quickly exactly as they were supposed to be with no issues. Of course people tend to mention negative experiences more than positive experiences so with any company you're going to see more negative than positive but just because I had a positive experience doesn't mean everyone will. So you have a better idea I purchased a mod that worked great and I also purchased an ohms reader both of them were great and were legitimate branded products

I agree, I’ve bought plenty from them, got authentic as advertised, and everything went fine. Any company can go through a rough patch. And as I said, it seems to mostly be back to normal for them.

I've had my Ulton Kayfun Lite 2019 25mm atty for a few days and finally found time to coil and wick. It's up and running with an 8 wrap 2mm coil at .75 ohms. There's not a lot of room in the coil deck compared to my old KF Lite V2's. The deck is much smaller even with the 25mm diameter of the tank. I guess they had to swap deck size for tank height to maintain 4ml capacity with the 4ml insert and retain low profile.

I.m used to the cooler vape produced by the taller chimney in the old KF Lite V2. Just me. I'm not much of a warm vape guy. That said, it's a good vape with nice air flow. I'm getting used to the slight warmth in the KF 2019. The short tank will prevent tip overs compared to the old taller profile Kayfun Lite V2.

I think I'm going to like this tank once I get used to coiling the small deck. MTL vapor production is good and flavor is nice. My last gripe is having to remove the top to fill the tank. I'm just used to the bottom fill screw on Kayfuns. The KF 2019 is just about exactly like filling a DoggyStyle tank where you remove the top to fill.

I got the top fill kits for the 2019 on FT, you just unscrew the ring to fill, I really like it.

I too, thought the 'vape' from the KFL 2019's both 'stock' and with the 'long mode' kit was a bit too warm for my liking. So I experimented a bit with coiling and found going back to 30g Kanthal, 2.0 mm Id, 5 wraps for 1.3Ωs made it an acceptable vape "for me". Once I got to that point I liked it enough to get 3 more. Oh, I also switched out the original drip tip for one from a KFmini ... the id is slightly bigger for 'better' airflow but the tip is about the same size overall.

I've got some 18650s I started a "study" on this summer. All were benchmarked for IR and capacity. Two went in the freezer, and two in the fridge, both of these sets at 3.6V. Four more are at room temperature. Two of those are at 3.6V while the other two are fully charged.

FWIW, I have some li-ion power tool packs that aren't used much that are now over 8 years old and they're still usable. So even if you stored those mods at room temperature, I doubt they would be "dead" in a scant 3-4 years. Clfling batteried is far harder on them than just time in storage. I've seen that on laptops too. My daughter and I got identical laptops in 2016. She put a lot of cycles on hers in college and the battery in it was shot this summer. I used mine relatively little and it's still fine.

Note: If you're keeping batteries (or mods with non-replaceable batteries) in cold storage, it is essential to let them fully warm up before charging them. Never charge a cold li-ion cell! I would give them a full 24h to assume room temperature before charging.
I agree - I don't think the internal devices will necessarily be useless as quick as some seem to think. I've got a Makita drill that I know is over 15 years old. Came with 2 batteries. One of them holds almost no charge, but the other is still pretty good, although nothing like new. I mean, I don't build houses or anything but it's gotten a fair amount of use.

I have been wondering, though. I know especially with all the auto mfgs. working on it that there is new battery tech coming. I really do wonder how long 18650's or 21700's will be around. And if some revolutionary battery tech is introduced in say, 5 years - will there be adapters? Will current mods/boards even be able to work with them?

Well Prius's will still be on the road and they use 18650s someone said just like other tech that will use them.

Do I really have to think about that just now? I just stocked up and it was expensive.. Dood.

IDK past a certain point this just gest into paranoia. I mean.... I could be run over by a truck long before that happens.

You can only prep what you can "prep." And yes, perhaps, I am buying batteries and MAY (may being the operative word.) store some for later there just isn't much you can do about batteries.

If SAID tragedy comes to pass I am sure there will be a way to use OHTER batteries and use home made mods.

Also how long has the double, triple, etc. battery been around? A long time I'd say although I don't know HOW long. But I see no reason to suspect otherwise for the batteries we have NOW. I mean....
