I remember back when all we had were cig a likes and we all wanted more power, more heat. Now that we have more power, I want less LOL I don't like burning vapor and drip tips, I want cooler vape with flavor. We vapers can be so fickled LOL! I turned down the watts to 8.5 on the Boost and finally have it where I like it, cooler :)
@8.5 watts we may need you to turn in your vape membership card!

Uh oh, I'm under five all day.
Good grief! You shouldn't even need a battery! :D

How the heck do you get the fullness of flavors without adding heat? I started out at 17watts,,, but found the flavor explosion around 28-35watts

I think it's the minty menthol that gives the tingle, combined with a longer draw approaching four seconds. Still very satisfying. When I have fun with more flavorful and thicker stuff, it's on a mesh coil at about 25-30 watts.

I vape one of my tanks at 10W and a different one at 14W, I still get nice clouds, but I vape unflavored. I avoid a burnt taste at all costs. And unflavored does have a mild flavor to it, it just cannot be described. lol A good part of the wattage though obviously depends on the coils you are using.

My coils also last forever, right now I am on day 90 with the coil I run at 10W and it works as good as day 1.

I just took my mod down to 8.5 watts & quite a long draw,, I dunno about cool vape,,,more like room temp like breathing from a straw,, a cigarette is much warmer,,, mod said no way below 7 watts

I think my husband's Zero Pod is warmer,, must be something like 14 watts ???

I too vape unflavored here & there,, I use simple kanthalA1,, .18-25 ohms,, not real picky.. I vape 30-50 mls a day,,, rayon last a week easy for me (210+ mls)--- & I have x5 lifetime supply of Rayon so I don't care how long a wick lasts 99%of the time my own sugar cookies recipe

The coil I vape at 10W is a drop in coil: .4ohm rated for up to 60W. But going up high spits, spurts, is way too hot (burns my lips) and I get a burnt taste. Although I do toss a single ice cube into my black coffee each morning so I do not burn my lips on that too. lol

I'm vaping a 0.5 Ohm clapton in my Xeta/BB at 29 W and running a 0.2 Ohm alien coil in a Recurve on my Luna which probably comes to about 80W on a full charge. I've never vaped much below 30W - the sort of coils I like wouldn't give me much vapor at lower wattages.

I tried a few dif coils,, aliens,, Clapton etc,,, didn't get anything better out of them likely because my watts are too low to appreciate them as you noted,,

The cool thing about vaping,, its like shoes,,, something dif for everyone build it however it works for you, (ps I was only teasing the low watt people,,, I thought those numbers came from older generation of gear,,,, nope people actually pick those numbers too,,,, i imagine their batteries last a really long time!)

Well...I'm not much higher! I always vape between 5-7W and get plenty of great flavor, vapor, and satisfaction. If it's "worked for me" all these years, and I've never even craved a ciggie...I see no reason to change it.

I hear you. The Claptons and especially aliens give me way stronger flavour than round wire builds cause of the larger surface area. Still we all know it's horses for courses - I use round wire in some smaller attys . Vaping a 24g Kanthal round wire build in a Vapeshell in my Bantam box today. The Bantam has a little 18350 battery and maxes out at 30W so running a round wire build at 22W is a good balance.

Well have to come up with a new description, maybe "Sub Tootle Puffing" [emoji3]

The Asmodus Colossal kit, with the spare 5 pack of coils, has arrived.

The Ohmie is not Cerberus/hellbeast/Smok standard. The chimney threading and overall form factor are the same, but thethreads on thebase are 12.8mm OD vs. 13.3mm for the other tanks.

The mod itself is decent. The 510 throw seemed short at first, didn't recognize a few tanks with shorter 510s. I let it warm up a few more minutes, then attached and removed one of my 510/ego adapters (they have a long 510 section), and now everything is recognized properly. Performance seems reasonably close to an Aegis Solo at the 34W I normally use.

For $20 it's a good little 80W 18650 mod, and I have the Ohmie tank with 7 total heads that can be in the emergency/PIF stash.

I checked my stash and I have 2 Kanger top tank mini's and the 2 RBA's, I never tried them but glad I have them plus some ssocc coils.
Those ssocc coils will work in that Billet box clone you just got too. That's what i was using in mine until i got my Xeta clone to put in it.

Just to confirm, that compatibility sheet was wrong and the coils are not interchangeable?
