Somewhere out there
Subtanks and toptanks were the tanks I stocked for the 2016 vapocalypse. They are workhorses. Last I saw FT still had the authentic rba units for them.
They are, just never tried them before, but glad I did!

Diet Pepsi. I never did find a coffee I liked. LOL

LOL it's always nice to run into a diet pepsi drinker. I do like coffee (not the freaky "limited run" holiday ones they are gross) but you know, after that. Sometimes I believe diet Pepsi flows through my veins not water. Oh, I try with the H20 but it's gross.

I also sorta figure it's one of the least of my problems. If my kidney function ever decides to give me grief maybe I'll think about it. But, my organs, despite repeated and ongoing abuse seem to be like "Have at it, Anna, to your heart's content."

I think there are more Diet Coke drinkers but I think it is gross. Personally.

Just that damned sleeve for my silver Dani 21700 I want. I should email my mom to buy it for me now, dude. Who knows how long it will take to get here, and if it goes out of stock I will cry. I think I will do it under the pretext of like, asking my mom what SHE wants for Christmas. Then, I am buying early gift cards for all the relatives I must and sending them, dude. I have to know how much money I have left, because like, the husband still needs dough for the contractors and that 2 weeks of unpaid FMLA did me no favors. Also, there is an item in the classies I want but probably may not/should not be able to afford. I am going to decide by the end o f the day.

But there is nothing BURNING other than that dang sleeve. I have not vaped the mod yet and I am weirded out by my self control I really don't want to scratch it.

The Serpent Elevate keeps popping up in this thread. My wife and I are both MTL vapers and like our coils between 1.2-1.6Ωs. And we don't prefer an airy vape. Is the Elevate suitable for this type of vaping style?

One of my new favorites is the Cthulhu Hastur w/ a 1.6Ω coil and I can dial down the air flow for a loose MTL or a tighter draw. Anyone have both the Hastur and Elevate that could give me their comparison of the two.

I like the Silverplay too ... but its minor drawback for me is the juice capacity.

Yep, I'm looking for perhaps one more tank to stock up on.
Mike - I haven’t been able yet to catch up in this thread to see what others have to say about your question - I, personally, would perhaps look to another RTA that is meant for MTL - that being said, I think it does come with a part meant to fit a smaller drip tip, and since it is so easy to build and is truly leak-proof, there is no reason why you shouldn’t try. I prefer a slightly restricted DL at around 40-44 watts on any RDA/RTA and have been over the moon with the Serpent Elevate and would not discourage anyone from trying them out. On the Wotofo website after shipping mine come to about $27. They are about $25 on FT.

@MikeE3 - Have you looked at the Brunhilde MTL RTA, $30 at vapesourcing (though there may be a wait on stock)?

Vapefly generally does well with their MTL offerings (I use them with airflow cranked open all the way for restricted DL), and it has 5ml capacity.

Morning all! Yes I wake up late on weekends. Also I had a Starbucks vanilla latte since we're our comparing our caffeine of choice.

I’m drinking herbal peppermint tea with a splash of unsweetened coconut milk. Yummy. Vaping strawberry biscuit on my solo/Zeus x with a fresh wick and newly dry burned coil. With all my Christmas lights on. Life is good.

Does anyone have something special vaping wise they still want to buy?

I seriously don't think I need anything besides parts for my Geekvape RTAs, which I'll order from Geekvape direct, hopefully after they send me a coupon code.

That auto fire was scary. I am still learning and didn’t know auto fire on anything was even a possibility. I had never heard of it.

Scared me even and I only vape regulated. I started taking the batteries out of my desk mod when I leave for work... just in case.

:D Vape cabinet has been put together :D

Nothing in it yet though. I may go figure out how I want to organize it but I may not. I’ve still got chores to do. When I finish stocking it I’ll take some pictures. :w00t: I really need to organize my juice so it doesn’t leak in it. Shoe boxes or plastic bins or nail polish cases. I’ll figure it out. I’m pooped and glad my son helped me. I’ll be glad to get this vape hoard in one place.

I'm not quite to the point where I want to use unregulated mods yet however what I want to know is have any of you had any leaking issues where the Ejuice leaks into the box where the chip is. It's apparently a really common thing to happen and I want to know if I should preemptively fix it or if I should wait to see if it leaks before I go to fix it?

I would like to not have to take it apart to clean it out if it does leak. But if y'all aren't leaking then maybe I'll just take that chance. I know it was a little while ago but if anyone had experience with it specifically the resin one I would really appreciate it.

    Thx

I picked up a few more Kanger top tank mini things on FT and a couple more RBA's for it. They are running out of that stuff LOL I do see a bunch of bases and tops for tanks available, sort of build your own. That is cool :) Basically what I did for the KFL+ stash I have. I never noticed all that stuff for the Kanger top tank. They also had the boost coils on FT, so got everything in one place. Done for today :)

See post 39013, the video embedded by @BigPappa , and @Blitzdonlife might be working on an explanation of the fix, too.

I would fix it first. That is what I am doing. Not only do I not want to take the chance but apparently liquid gets under the silicone (or plastic?) overlay of the fire button which is what causes the autofiring. Drying that out once it gets wet will be difficult.

Also, this is not a mechanical mod. It does have some electronics and built-in protections. Although I question the 10 second cutoff based on the autofiring issues melting some people's drip tips...etc..

I had leaking inside the box with the electronics. I siliconed the outside of the pin without removing it, that worked for a little bit but it leaked again after a few weeks. Taking the pin out and sealing it into the hole is probably a better solution.

So I got everything in my vape cabinet from three paper boxes and my kitchen island. Then I realized I have stuff in my china cabinet AND my TV cabinet. Tons of stuff. Not sure it's all gonna fit. Once I figure out my flavors, I think I can do it. We'll see. I may just have to keep my flavors in my kitchen island like before. Too many flavors! But this is all I can do tonight. I'm considering getting the smaller cabinet that is just like the taller one for DIY. :sneaky:

Here's the food-safe Silicone I use for sealing things:
    https://www.amazon.com/Grade-Silicone-Sealant-Adhesive-White/dp/B01F9HCISU

From the looks of it, unscrew the little screw/bolt where the leak occurs, apply that silicone (on the screw threads), screw it back in, give it a day to set.

(I don't have a luxotic. The Silicone I linked to is what I use to seal air inlets on squonk bottles.)

It looked to me more like it was a pin... not threaded. The guy in the vid used loctite superglue. I got some loctite superglue and loctite silicone just in case.
