For those who may be interested...KangerWholesaleusa.com is having a Flash Sale on some Wismec stuff:

    $5.99 - Luxotic BF mod
    $31.99 - Luxotic DF Box V2
    $14.49 - Sinuous Solo Kit
    $14.99 - Sinuous V200 Box mod
    $24.99 - Active 80W + Amor Kit
    $4.49 - Noisy Cricket Mod
    $17.99 - CB-60 + Amor NS Kit
    $44.99 - reuleaux DNA200 Mod

I got this email too but it doesn't have any dates or times on it for when the flash sale is running and when I go to the mod from the email on the Luxotic BF Mod the prices are $27-$31. I clicked it basically right as it came out too.

I just checked a bunch of other items and they're all way more than advertised too. Maybe these were wholesale prices only?

I'm pretty much done stocking up after a 12 hour three order binge. My Subtank stock is refreshed, a couple devices on my wish list are on their way and my Liquid Barn nic showed up yesterday (free shipping with Fedex - seven days!).

I think we've all been much more fortunate than we expected over these three+ years, having both our basic needs and fun options available and often at great prices.

I just wish I had the brains to order nic instead of some of the hardware I bought over the years. In my mind, I was just going to keep ordering bulk juice from heartland forever and ever. lol

I never wanted to DIY, still don't. But I know I have to and I will. I figure, If I had not bought some of my hardware, I could have bought at least 2L of nic with it, maybe 3. That would put me at 9-10 liters today.

I have jars similar to that. But they are old. Worried about lead in them.

I grow my own tomatoes in the summer and puree them so I can have fresh tomato sauce almost all year round. I hate having to buy it in the store.

But's it's a good idea, though, assuming you wash those lids well, which I'm sure you do.

That's why I've been thinking about using Ball jars with plastic lids since I can get some jars for free. I just have to buy the lids. Not sure what to do about that. Not liking the thought of experimenting with my stash.
Canning jars? I have considered that and we know they are food safe.

I'm considering it too, with plastic BPA-free lids. I think I can get these cheaper than boston rounds. I have a friend that has a new pack of Ball jars he said I can have (they were his ex's that she never used), but I don't know if they're the ones for the freezer. Would be great if they are. Regardless, I may go this route anyhow if I can find a good deal.

SHould be fine in the freezer. If it is a new case it comes with lids and rings. Just make sure it is the new BPA free lids if its the older one a box of new lids is like $4

Edit: I am a bigtime canner so THESE jars I know well.LOL

What's great is that nic is still available at very good prices, so a couple more fresh liters won't hurt much. Plus you've enjoyed those easy years of buying cheap premix while the gettin' was good. :thumb:

Some hardware is already long gone from the market. If I hadn't gotten my ProVari and Precise mods back then I probably wouldn't find them now, and they're keepers. I think you dodged a bullet and are getting your hoard in great shape!

Then why do they make specific jars for the freezer if the regular ones are fine?

I won't use the metal lids, BPA-free or not. Too much moisture in a freezer, those lids rust easily.

Yeah, I shouldn't complain too much. But everything I'm buying now is not cool for my finances. No job and no unemployment check right now. So this came at a bad time for me.

I found that trying to sell any of my hardware is not worth the time because all my hardware is older stuff people don't want or is on clearance for next-to-nothing in many places.

EDIT: I fail to see how this post is "optimistic" lol.

I bought the canning jars labeled for freezer use.. White BPA-FREE lids.. They have protected my nicotine just fine in the freezer. My "in use" nicotine is in a squeeze water bottle" now lives in the fridge..it allows me at keep air out of the bottle..instead of shaking I have to"knead" the bottle before taking nic out to make sure it's mixed well with the pg.

VAPEMAIL! More dropins from vaporhq from their going out of business sale. :)

My Dad got his (5) Pico kits in for his birthday (in April...) yesterday from them. Had him open the box and confirm the contents because it was a new vendor to me and they were going out of business so he only had a very small window to make corrections if anything was wrong. He said it was all set though, good news.

I feel the same way you do about wishing I had begun DIY sooner so my hardware stockpile would be larger today. I was very intimidated by DIY, but I just started using one shots. They are so easy and all of the ones I've tried so far are really good. I've made about six juices and three are still steeping.
It may take me a while to mix without the one shots, but even if I never use anything but one shots, I am still saving money. You will be fine with it too, I am sure!

Right, but the resident canner here @Myrany says that if my friend's jars are not freezer jars, they are still OK for freezer use. So why do they make freezer jars?

Not even going to enter this jarred nicotine discussion. I think it's ridiculous that anyone would use anything other than what's been recommended by the guy that knows about degradation more than anyone else.

You guys do you... I think $20 for glass bottles is worth every penny to know that my (soon to be) priceless stash of nic is safe.

Then again this is coming from the guy that hasn't decanted anything he ordered back in September yet. Take with a grain of salt.

I'm not sure yet exactly how many bottles I need and what sizes I want just yet because I may be ordering more nic.

I don't want to put in on my CC, but I will have to and make payments. I just feel that I should buy more HV nic at the $10 off sale they are having until tomorrow. All in all, with what's on the UPS truck now, I will have 7.12 liters. But I feel I should have more for various reasons. One being you never know if something goes wrong and I lose a portion of your stash somehow.

I'm beginning to think it's not wise to say I need X amount for X years and just buy that. Extra is better in a case like this.

I'm also on the fence about the jars, but leaning that way. I'm OK with leaving the nic in the HV black HDPE bottles for a while until I figure out an action plan...and hopefully find a job soon.

But you're more than welcome to post some findings here so others can benefit, too.
